My husband and I have been talking about getting married in New Orleans for years, and after COVID we decided to finally make the jump to make it happen. We originally reached out to Herbivore as part of our mass-outreach via The Knot in our initial stage of planning, and we are so thankful that we did. Not only did Brent immediately make us feel heard and understood from our initial email correspondence, Brent took the time to reassure our stresses of getting started with planning a cross-country wedding, gave us incredibly valuable suggestions on additional vendors and resources, and added plenty enjoyable sass to make the wedding planning FUN (which is what it SHOULD BE, even if stressful). The Herbivore Team as a whole went above & beyond to make our floral designs exactly as we had dreamed (let's be honest - it was better than we'd dreamed), and made us feel like we had a one-in-a-lifetime experience even while working with a very modest budget. We cannot say enough positive things about them - and there's a reason they are in high demand! Reach out and get your date secured with them. You WILL NOT regret it!

Our flowers were gorgeous! Brent and I had a lovely long talk about what my vision and colors were and I can honestly say that they took my ideas and ran with them! I had my expectations surpassed and our Ceremony and Reception looked like the Moody Romantic wedding of my dreams! Please if you want a moody dark romance look go with them because I may be biased but it is their best work!

I am SO happy we used Herbivore Floral for our wedding florals. From the very beginning, they were excellent to work with. As I was planning the wedding from another state, we initially had a video call with Herb, and he was so friendly from the beginning and answered all of our questions. Along the way, Herb was always quick to respond over email, and patient with many requests for revisions and questions along the way. On the day of our wedding, Brent brought such a positive energy when he dropped off the bouquets for the bridesmaids, and all of the flowers and decor looked great, better than I would have imagined! We really appreciate everything Herbivore for us, and we are so happy we had the chance to work with them!

Herb and Brent are the absolute BEST and I'm so happy we chose them to do the flowers for our wedding! From the very start, they were super helpful and had so many awesome ideas for how we could best use our budget. The day of the wedding, Brent delivered the bouquets and brought such a fun energy to the room-- my bridesmaids still talk about how funny he was! And every single thing they did turned out GORGEOUS. My bouquet was exactly what I was hoping for, and all the installations they did in our venue were absolutely stunning. Even weeks after the wedding, people were talking about how beautiful all the flowers were! I cannot recommend Herbivore enough. Brent was awesome - he had this perpetual wedding enthusiasm, that was contagious and exciting. It made the whole process more fun, easy and seamless. He takes direction well, but is also very receptive to any and all specific requests/themes. He has years of wedding industry experience and is eager to provide knowledge of décor/flowers and their associated wedding logistics, decorations, layout, etc. He has the a unique skill set for foresight execution, as well as envisioning high-level creative branding. Whether you have a very thorough floral plan, or absolutely no earthly idea what you want, Brent can help.

We loved working with Brent and Herb for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. They were extremely communicative and were open to iterating on plans for the floral arrangements as the planning process evolved. The flowers were absolutely stunning, and their creative vision truly made our wedding come to life! Highly recommend working with them!

We LOVED each and every floral arrangement made by Herbivore for our destination wedding!!! Every flower was perfect and absolutely beautiful!! Now, if you want a stunning and creative floral display for your wedding...then you have to pick Herbivore. Terry Cambise (our planner, who we highly recommend) suggested we choose Herbivore. We met Herb at our venue and he created the perfect vision. I wanted southern tropical white flowers with modern vases for the main part of the evening then transition into dark speak-easy vibes. Herb and his team went above and beyond to create the perfect decor. My bridesmaids couldn't stop talking about their bouquets they all were stunned. If you want customized wedding decor in New Orleans...Herbivore is the only option. I am even getting my bouquet made into a tray because I want the beauty to live on.

Absolutely amazing. I wanted my wedding to have an explosion of color and have very indian elements and after showing them a few photos of ideas and a few phone calls, it was so perfect. I have gotten so many comments on how beautiful the venue looked, how everyone loved the umbrellas over the dance floor, and the stunning mandap and gates. I think it was just so refreshing to feel like in the entire conversation I was heard and understood. Loved working with Herb and Brent and recommend them 1000 times over.

If I could give Herbivore a BILLION stars, I would. I probably cannot fully and accurately describe how absolutely amazing this team is in the 3500 character limit on the Knot, but I will try! From the first phone call we had with Brent, we were pretty much in love :) We knew this team was IN IT and invested in making our wedding day the absolute dream that we were picturing. On our initial call, Brent was able to break down every flower type in every inspiration photo I had and explain to me what they were, asked me what I liked about certain arrangements, make suggestions and alterations when something didn't feel right, and just immediately was on the same page with the vision we had. I couldn't believe how many questions were being answered for me on our first call together, and how much time and patience Brent was willing to put in so that he could get everything right. Brent's genuine excitement and enthusiasm during every single meeting was just a complete relief and SO wonderful, when the wedding planning process can get so stressful. I just remember thinking the whole time "Herbivore's got this. I don't need to worry." We asked for another one of our meetings to be held at Herbivore's warehouse (since we're local) so that we could take a look at some of the votives and vases and everything in person....again the amount of patience and love and support and expertise during that meeting is just unmatched by anyone we had worked with. Brent just patiently gave his advice, waited it out and helped make decisions when my fiancé and I couldn't agree on something, we literally mocked up certain tablescapes together when we weren't sure of what to do. It was amazing. And I'm still so grateful for the amount of time Brent continued to devote to us to make sure we were getting everything we imagined. He went above and beyond to get us a specific décor item I really wanted. Every conversation was just a pleasure, and I felt like I was working with my own family - someone who wanted to make sure this wedding was PERFECTION and who didn't treat it like just another one out of 100 weddings. Fast forward to the wedding day and Herbivore just knocked it out of the park and across the globe, haha. Brent delivered the florals to my getting ready location and brought his usual, amazing, fun energy and it was just this wonderful relief. My family finally got to meet them that day, and they were just completely in love with the Herbivore team. Everything at the wedding itself was just way better and more beautiful than what I could have even pictured. Our wedding was at the Hotel Peter and Paul, and all the arrangements (we went with a palette of reds, pinks, purples, jewel tones...) were just bigger and better and more beautiful than what I even expected, and I was already expecting them to look amazing! From the aisle arrangements, to the vertical altar arrangements, the TREES, the cocktail hour pieces, greenery on the bars, the handrail florals....the flip to reception and all the gorgeous table centerpieces, the sweetheart table which looked like a magical garden and I hadn't even expected it to! Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. Just wow. We're going to be talking about this team for the rest of our lives, thanking them in whatever ways we can, but we thought we would at least start here. We have so many gorgeous photos from the day of, but I truly hope they know how much we appreciate the emotional support and love they provided.

Herb & Brent are the BEST. The entire team at Herbivore brought my vision to life. The process was so seamless and I put my full trust in their hands. The flowers were breathtaking. I can’t begin to count how many compliments I heard throughout the night and after our wedding. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. OMG! Everything about this florist is amazing! Herb did all floral design for our daughter’s wedding. He met with us and listened. Don’t look any further, just hire Herbivore to do your wedding flowers!! We spoke to a few different vendors before we found Herbivore and I cannot put in words how working with them felt like a breath of fresh air. They respected our budget, gave us honest opinions on what we could do to get the most bang out of our buck, and really were just a joy to communicate with through emails and at our floral appointment in person. I cannot say enough positive things about Herbivore. Our wedding florals and design were STUNNING. My now-husband and I met with Brent upon recommendation from our wedding planner. We know nothing about florals and had no idea where to start. We gave Brent some inspiration pictures, and he basically took it from there, and came up with the most beautiful design. The ceremony and reception included this incredible flower wall that Brent and the team set up behind a lounge area inside the gazebo, and the guests were talking about it and taking pictures in front of it all evening. And beyond the amazing work, Brent and his team were such a pleasure to work with -- fun, accommodating, and responsive. We would absolutely recommend hiring Herbivore for your event!

I cannot overstate how wonderful it was to work with Herb and his team. Their work is exquisite, more beautiful than I ever imagined and so incredibly creative. Also, they bring such joy and exuberance when they meet with you to deliver your bridal bouquet. Definitely a highlight of my wedding!

While planning my wedding, I had a half-baked vision of my style: organic, natural greenery, anemone flowers, blues and whites. And, if possible, I really wanted to incorporate oyster shells from my Maryland hometown into my bouquet. The Herbivore team was creative, ingenious, and flawless in the execution of my vision. There were oyster shells splashed throughout my bouquet as if they were flowers! Felt natural and organic, just like the rest of our florals. The bouquets, the boutonnieres, the ceremony altar, the centerpieces, everything felt like us. Herb and Brent have great talents in “getting” people and translating each client into uniquely individualized florals. Thank you!

I could not be more happy with choosing Herbivore for my floral designs on my wedding day. I asked for color and boy did Herb and his staff deliver! My flowers were an explosion of color, further enhancing the day. Totally exceeded expectations and Herb knew exactly what I wanted after spending an abundant amount of time meeting with me. Would highly recommend!!

My wedding reception had a tropical flare to it and after seeing some of Herbivore's past work, I knew they would be the right florist for the job! My initial inquiry was in January 2020. Herbivore worked with my budget and even helped me add some other floral items that I would've never thought of! It was also great that they offered votive decorations as well. Of course after going under contract, Covid happened and we ended up doing a smaller ceremony in 2021 with the big hurrah in 2022. Herbivore was very easy to work with during the shuffle around that I ensured that they did the florals for both ceremonies. On the day of the "big hurrah" the Herbivore team stayed in constant contact and even personally delivered the bouquets to my bridal suite. Everyone loved all the colors. 10/10 I would recommend!

From our first call with Herb, I knew he and his team were the ones I needed for our wedding florals. He is incredibly knowledgeable and professional and delivered stunning florals for our wedding day. He worked within our budget, listened to ideas and executed. Bouquet drop-offs went perfectly (including the fun photo-op!) and set-up/tear-down also went smoothly. Also, so thoughtful with including a mini bouquet for details shots. Herb transformed our venue while also keeping the romantic/classic vibe I envisioned. I'm still dreaming about our ceremony arch and the romance of all the candles. His team is so FUN and makes the process enjoyable. I can't say thank you enough!

Herb and his team are absolutely amazing. From the moment that I called him and we went over some ideas, I knew he was the one that I wanted to work with. Words cannot express how happy I am that I was able to have him do our wedding. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and he blew it out of the water. Working with Herbivore was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I am not someone who is an expert in floral design, or who really even knows the names of flowers, but I was able to explain to Herb what I was thinking - and he seriously stepped up to the plate. Herbivore Floral Designs made our wedding spectacular! Everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! When we arrived at the Elms Mansion and gazed at the floral arrangements it took our breath away! Awesome, perfectly placed and with the exact colors and flower types we wanted! We chose Herbivore as the florist for our New Orleans wedding at Il Mercato. We worked with Herb throughout the planning process. He was a pleasure to work with and was EXTREMELY responsive to all of our emails, usually responding within minutes. He was supportive, answered all of our questions and even gave recommendations for other wedding vendors when we asked. On the day of the wedding, Herb was prompt in dropping off the bouquets and setting up the flowers at the venue as well as breaking everything down at the end of the night. Herb and his team are true magic! His seamless, professional operation made what I’m sure was hours and hours of hard work, planning, preparation, and care look like pure effortless talent. Seriously – he prepared bouquets and boutonnieres for a bridal party of 24, flowers and décor for two venues, there were no hiccups, AND everything looked and smelled like we were part of a real-life fairy tale fit for a magazine. Not only is Herb incredibly talented, he’s also such a pleasure to work with. He met with us and enthusiastically answered all our questions and offered recommendations to limit our costs. He also graciously delt with us throwing him last minute curveballs – a change in the delivery location the day before the wedding, and an adjustment to our quote/scope a week before the wedding so we could throw petals at the ceremony, and I could add flowers to my hair. You can tell that he truly cares about his work and his clients; he’s responsive, supportive, professional, energetic, and positive. Not once did I have a disappointing moment working with him. Herb is the best!! My flowers were gorgeous! On top of that, I miscounted bridesmaids in my initial estimate and never caught it. Herb and his team made a bouquet on the spot! I don’t know where to start at expressing how incredible Herb and his team was. I don’t know how they pulled it off with Covid, hurricane, and a flower shortage but they somehow made it look even more beautiful than my inspiration pictures! And beyond what I expected. I had every color on my dream board and Herb made it happen! It’s been a few months and everyone is still talking about how incredible, unique, magical, and gorgeous our wedding flowers were! Herb and his team are fantastic!! They are kind, responsive, thoughtful and fun. I think I researched everything I could after realizing the expense of flowers. Herb and his team were always thoughtful and respectful of budget, doing everything they could to give me my vision and not break my bank. Everything just looked lovely, and our day was beautiful. Herb even helped me navigate and recommend some new vendors (photographers) after a small snafu with the one I had booked. They know the business, they know the vendors in town and work well with everyone, they really should be a part of bringing your wedding vision to life. Honestly, could not recommend them more.

We had a wonderful experience with Herbivore- our flowers were gorgeous, Herb’s style is amazing and unique, and he’s a pleasure to work with. Our wedding was originally scheduled for March of 2020, and we had to cancel our celebration at the last minute. Herb was great about it, he rolled with the punches and stuck with us as we went through the experience of postponing twice. When we finally got to have our party, we asked Herb to add some fun and funkiness to our original more classic floral vision, and man, did he deliver! His style and aesthetic are flawless, and the arrangements were beautiful. He’s also fun to work with, and he helped us stick to a budget too.

Herb at Herbivore Floral Designs is a genius. He did the florals for both our small 2020 covid ceremony and our big 2021 celebration. After an initial 30 minute phone call he sent over a mood board that captured my exact vision and then delivered the most gorgeous florals for both events. The team at Herbivore is thoughtful, attentive, and detail-oriented. I highly recommend them for all of your floral needs. They are extremely talented and their work is stunning!

Herbivore Floral Designs did the florals for our November wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with how they came out. We had a lovely half moon gate arch for our ceremony made of white flowers and greenery with fairy lights that made for terrific pics for the rooftop ceremony. We are still over the moon about our florals from Herbivore. Herb and his team were one of the first vendors we booked once we had our date because we never had any doubt that they would be able to nail our vision. They were incredibly helpful when we had to reschedule our wedding due to covid, and even helped us cut down on costs by recommending we repurpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception space! Herb and his team are great—incredibly flexible and easy to work with! We ended up postponing our wedding celebration twice due to COVID and Herb was gracious enough to allow us to roll everything over both times. Not to mention he basically read my mind and came up with a gorgeous bouquet and elegant floral arrangements with very little direction. Everything turned out beautifully! Herb's team also arrived to the venue early to set up the fountain so we could take family photos before the reception. Having that amazing backdrop in place early was wonderful and so appreciated. When I started wedding planning, so many people told me to decide which three components meant the most to me and then allocate the appropriate amount of my budget toward those. Flowers were easily at the top of my list (followed closely by bar and band). So many people recommended Herbivore, and I was sold after the very first meeting. Herb instantly understood what I wanted and what I envisioned. I knew I wanted A LOT of flowers and made sure to budget accordingly. When we got the proposal, I was floored. Not only did it include every single thing I wanted and so much more that perfectly fit my aesthetic, it was considerably under what I had budgeted. Fast forward to our wedding, and it was nothing short of a dream. Herb's team worked absolute MAGIC. It completely took my breath away. I have had so many soon-to-be brides asked me who did my flowers, and they are genuinely shocked when I tell them what we ended up spending. Most of them assume it was at least three or four times that amount, and this is truly a testament to Herb and his team making sure that every bride, no matter their budget, gets exactly what they want. Choosing Herbivore is and was a no brainer. You will not regret it! Easily my favorite vendor at our wedding!

Herb and his team are EVERYTHING. Herb made a last minute bouquet for me when my husband and I had our "COVID" ceremony in November of 2020, and it was one of the few things I had at the time that made me feel like a real bride. Then a year later in November of 2021, we had our dream "big" wedding (only 60 people) and Herbivore designed our florals. Everything from my bouquet to our ceremony arch to the arrangements on the dinner tables was perfection. Herb listened to my nonsense and created the vision I saw in my head of what I wanted our floral designs to be. He is so kind and funny and was patient with me when I switched up our original design plan only a couple months before the wedding date. If I could get married every year and have Herb design the florals, I would!

Herb and his team were incredible! He understood my vision and was very easy to work with. Herb made great suggestions and was very honest on where he thought we needed to spend more and where we could cut corners. He stuck within our budget but exceeded our expectations. Herb and his team of floral designers created the most beautiful arrangement for our daughters wedding. Herb listened to our thoughts, looked at our inspiration pictures, and TOTALLY captured exactly what we wanted for that day. Our daughter was just blown away by the perfect look that Herb and his team created. This was a destination wedding for all involved and Herb went out of his way to accommodate us when we were in town. And he was very gracious...and we are so happy...that Herbivore was able to change dates with us three times during this past two years. I can't say enough nice things about Herbivore. Just PERFECTION!

God Bless Herb and the Herbivore Team! These kind, talented humans had to put up with me and my mother for a solid year and a half. Working with Herb was one of the most fun experiences with wedding planning because my floral was most of my decorative design. The aesthetic we had developed for our wedding was very colorful and eccentric. Think large painted palms and baby's breath floral clouds. Herb worked with me until the very last minute to make sure my vision came to life. I even cried when I saw my bouquet for the first time. His team did an incredible job and I'm so thrilled I got to know him through this process. If I am ever in need of florals again for an event in Nola, he is the person I will call!

Herb and his team are wonderful! The floral arrangements for our rehearsal dinner and wedding were more beautiful than I could have hoped! Herb is very personable and truly listens to what your vision is for your wedding or event. The flowers are the highest quality and I loved my bouquet so much that I got it preserved! Leading up to the wedding, Herbivore was very responsive, and even though they arrange many events, they make every customer feel like a priority. The Herbivore Floral design team is incredible. They came highly recommended from my wedding planner, and from the moment that I first spoke with Jennifer I knew they were going to nail my vision. The flowers the had at the venue were absolutely stunning and the team was so easy to work with. Two of the things that I loved most about working with this team was that they spent a lot of time asking specific questions about what I was looking for before we even agreed to work together, and then they sent over a very detailed proposal with photos that helped me feel confident they would nail it. Other vendors just sent over pricing. The team was also great about understanding the flow of the day and helping think through how to repurpose flowers from one part of the day to the next so that we could could get the most bang for our buck. I would recommend this team to anyone getting married in the area, they are so lovely and wonderful! Thank you Herbivore team!!

Herbivore does incredible work and are the kindest people. Herb guided me through a last minute postponement, doing the bouquet for our ceremony and then all the reception flowers one year later. He worked hard to restructure our plan many times throughout the year and when I finally got a sneak peek of our staircase arrangement, it brought tears to my eyes! Herb is calm, cool, collected, and upbeat and made the whole process a breeze for me and even FUN. Cannot say thank you enough to Herbivore!

Herbivore Floral Designs was great for our wedding. They helped us so much on deciding what flowers we wanted and were always quick to respond. Could not say better things about Herb (& Brent who we first met at the Chicory!) and Herbivore Floral Designs!! All of our guests were so impressed with the beautiful floral arrangements ranging from a real flower piece in my hair to our atrium center pieces to the gorgeous mandap (altar) and jai mala (flower garlands) that they created for our Indian wedding. Herb was so accommodating with our multiple COVID-19 postponements and our multiple days of events including flipping flowers from the ceremonies both days for the receptions. I felt like we were truly friends at the end of this 2.5 year planning experience! Herb and his team always drop off the bridal bouquet ahead and everything felt so personal. If you're scrolling through a bunch of reviews for florists in the New Orleans area, stop reading and just book Herbivore. Like yesterday. I had a color palette and a few inspiration photos that I sent to Herb, and what he was able to do with it completely took my breath away. When our personal flowers were delivered to the bridal suite, no words came out. I just looked at everyone dumbfounded with my mouth wide open in COMPLETE AWE of how beautiful they turned out to be. The proposal Herb sent was the most thorough proposal I have ever seen, and he was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful when listening to my feedback. If you're looking for your wedding day florist to be something you book and then never have to think about again, Herb's got you. He is so talented at what he does, and he will make the vision you didn't even know you had come to life. I cannot recommend him enough!

First, I was very appreciative to Herbivore for working with us when we had to reschedule our wedding. They were very accommodating and kind. Second, the flowers they provided were beyond anything I ever imagined. I didn't have much of a vision for what I wanted my flowers to look like. I picked a color and general style and Herbivore came up with the most beautiful, perfect arrangements for my bouquet and table decor. I cannot recommend them enough.

Herb and his team were amazing to work with through two postponements due to COVID. As for the flowers themselves, words cannot describe how gorgeous every bouquet and arrangement was on my wedding day. I took photos from Pinterest to Herb to show him what I liked and honestly what his team produced was even better! My only regret was not having him do more arrangements for me. Guests throughout the night and after the wedding complimented the flowers over and over. Everything was beautiful. Herb is a must book for your wedding! I am pretty much clueless when it comes to all things floral but he made it SO easy. I gave him a few likes/dislikes and he took it from there. It was like he somehow got into my brain and figured out EXACTLY what I wanted while also being conscious of our budget. I was so obsessed with my bouquet and the adorable dinosaur pin inside. I can't say enough good things about working with Herb and his team. Even as a Covid Bride he made the whole thing a breeze...not to mention he's super sweet and fun!
