I had the most amazing experiences at Here Comes the Bride in Glendale Heights! I came in with an idea of what I wanted for my wedding dress, and Rose picked out the most amazing dresses for me to try on based on my vision! When I kept going back to THE dress, she had me put on a veil and hold a bouquet and had me imagine being at the alter - I had the chills and everyone was crying! We knew for sure in that moment that the dress was mine! She truly made that such a magical experience for us all, I will never forget that moment! I ordered my dress to the store so I could try it on, store it there, and go in for alterations as we got closer to the wedding! The storage fee was so reasonable, and the alterations process was so easy, and quick too!, and the seamstress was WONDERFUL to work with! She even offered to do one last press the day of my wedding, and I did end up taking her up on that offer! I truly appreciated that! The atmosphere at Here Comes the Bride is beautiful, I left with a smile on my face every time! And my dress was absolutely fabulous, and comfortable!! I felt amazing all night long!

ibe what I wanted and pick my dress in 1 day. I didnt have to go anywhere else. They also didnt charge extra for bigger dresses. I found a beautiful gown that was cheaper than my original budget. I also found the most beautiful veil. I wanted to make my dress a bit more special and they allowed me to add a belt and bow to my dress. The seamstresses are miracle workers. I originally ordered a size 16 and with all my weight loss was down to a 12. They cinched it all in. The dress fit like a glove. I could not recommend this place more. They were also amazing to my mom during her mother of the bride dress shopping trip. The staff was kind also. They treated my special needs brother with kindness. Definitely recommend them for any dress shopping.

I highly recommend HCTB they for one made my whole experience from start to finish definitely unforgettable. I’m sad I now am done going and I won’t see these friendly ladies. The ...

prices were so very fair, the alterations prices were also reasonable since these ladies know wedding dresses. But they made it so personable every time I walked in I would choose them over and over.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but after my experience with this alterations service, I feel compelled to share. What should have been a special and exciting time as a bri...

de turned into an incredibly frustrating and upsetting experience. I was originally quoted one price for my alterations, only to be charged more after the fact for changes that were already done — and not even completed. It felt dishonest and incredibly unfair. What made matters worse was the way I was treated throughout the process. The owner made extremely inappropriate comments about my body, stating that the dress would “never fit to your expectation because it’s a deep V back and your breasts are too big for that.” Not only was this offensive, but it was also completely untrue — I later went to another seamstress who made the dress fit perfectly. To add insult to injury, at one point I was even asked if I was on my period because the dress seemed “tighter.” I can’t imagine a more unprofessional or inappropriate question to ask a client — let alone a bride preparing for her wedding day. While Jenna, the alterations manager, was kind and helpful throughout, the owner’s behavior was beyond unacceptable. When I calmly asked for a refund due to being double charged, I was met with hostility and told, “You don’t scare me,” as though I was trying to intimidate someone just by asking to be treated fairly. I left this shop feeling humiliated, overcharged, and deeply disappointed. No bride should ever be made to feel this way. The entire experience was not only unprofessional but personally degrading. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I did.

Here Comes The Bride has so many beautiful dresses to choose from. They were extremely helpful in pulling dresses that matched what I was looking for, and I was able to purchase my...

dream dress from them. They were also very receptive to non-traditional ideas for my accessories, and were able to help me find a black veil to match my dress when I hadn't even been considering a veil at all. The seamstresses on site are very professional and great at what they do - my alterations were one and done at a fairly reasonable price for the Chicagoland area.

me looked at pictures I had and found the perfect dress in my budget. And I love my dress! I stored my dress with them for a small extra fee and they kept it nice and safe. Alterations were less to my satisfaction. The seamstress was nice, but tried to talk me down from the specific alterations I wanted (i.e. removing my train), which didn’t feel great. She was also pricey, only took cash, and didn’t talk to me at all when I came back to review the alterations and pick up my dress. I would take my alterations elsewhere next time.

2024. Ruti in their alterations dept did a FANTASTIC job with some custom alterations with my dress sleeves. Morgan was my dress consultant the day I came dress shopping and she did a great job listening to my likes and dislikes to zone in on the perfect dress for me to try on!

Whatever you do, do not get your alterations done here! The alterations desk lady, possibly the manager, is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. When I bought my dress I...

was told that alterations costs were "on average".. well today when I went in for my first fitting, it was going to be $800! That is 2/3 of the price of my dress! Today was supposed to be a happy day and I was supposed to feel gorgeous and instead I was in my car crying after walking out with my dress. Here's to finding a tailor who can do it in time now.

and so many were out for display. I was paired with Bri, who looked at my dresses I had liked online and brought me all the dresses that were similar. She gave me a ton of options to choose from and listened to all the aspects I liked about the dresses she brought. She was very detail oriented and patient with me. I did find my dress here and I have my alterations with them in May.

onsultant was so helpful and really took into account my preferences when pulling dresses for me to try on. I had been to one bridal store and the experience there was less than ideal, so I was skeptical about this one. Everyone was so nice and helpful, but especially my stylist, Gabby. ...

I knew what I didn't want and only sort of what I did want and I needed a lot of help. Gabby pulled some of my picks, and as we figured out more of what I wanted, she picked out one final dress that was perfect for me. And it was under budget, even with the matching veil! She was so helpful and kind, and the perfect person to help me pick out my dress. Thanks everyone!

e dress of my dreams that was completely different from what I was going for. My sister-in-law also found her wedding dress here and we both had issues with alterations.. VERY expensive, but the dresses both fit us perfectly, just expensive. I did order an underlay for my dress to add sparkle. Waited almost 6 months for first fitting and it was a completely different underlay than the one I had chosen. Was able to get removed. Overall consultant I had was amazing and the women who did alter my dress did an AMAZING job on fitting my dress to my body.

I was really dreading wedding dress shopping but Katie made it such a wonderful experience. She listened to me and was not pushy like so many other people can be. I felt heard and ...

respected especially about my concerns about getting a dress within my budget. She was very patient and thoughtful. My dress was not one I would have initially envisioned as my wedding dress and I am so happy she pulled it out for me to try on. I would highly recommend her and this store. They have gorgeous dresses and an atmosphere that makes you feel beautiful.

with Megan. She was the best and gave so many good recommendations. Coming in, I had a vision of what I thought I wanted, which I was able to try on, but she picked out this ballgown dress that I fell in LOVE with. The dress happened to be in my size and straight off the runway, so I was able to go home with the dress that day! Megan made all of us feel welcome, gave honest and critical feedback (which I appreciated), hyped me up, and overall was so kind.

Had an amazing experience picking out my dress with Morgan! They have so many dresses to browse through! I'm mid size in everyday wear (14) and felt comfortable in majority of the ...

dresses pulled. I tried on probably close to 15-20 different dresses. The entire process was extremely smooth and I had no major issues! The dress I picked and was my size, fit already for the most part except for the strap area was too big. They convinced me to go up a size. The next day, I looked up the measurements on the vendors website vs my measurements they did and the larger size would have required way more alterations than necessary so I called and switched to the accurate size - no problem. During my first alteration appointment (first weekend in January, that I went alone to) I made a joke about holiday food when putting my dress on and the seamstress made a snarky response like "then why did you make an appointment so close to the holidays" - and stormed away. A new seamstress came to work with me and was a lot kinder and had more patience. This was my only issue I had with HCTB. Alterations are cash only, which was not a problem as they told me from the very beginning and I had budget the $650 that is listed on the contract, but mine came in under that. Otherwise, my dress turned out absolutely beautiful and fit me perfectly!!! I felt beautiful and comfortable my entire wedding day :)

ive, the seamstress in particular did an absolutely fantastic job tailoring the dress to me. I went with her recommendations and it had the perfect fluff and float while allowing me to easily do my practiced first dance with my husband. I felt so, so beautiful on my wedding day and absolutely loved my dress. I had good experiences in the store and found the price for my dress and veil to be a good value. While I did not realize the alterations weren't included, I had such a good experience with the tailoring that I didn't mind the extra fee.

I went here to look for my wedding dress and from the start, I already had bad vibes. I made an appointment and waited an hour til I could finally be taken back to look at and try ...

on dresses. They said they “didn’t have anyone available for me right now”. It was very busy with lots of other big parties visible and it didn’t feel like an intimate experience. The stylist I was paired with was the biggest vibe killer. She did not seem enthusiastic or happy to be there, and it immediately made me feel like a burden and rushed to find the dress. She would pick them, help put them on, then stand back and just cross her arms with flat affect. I had been to a bridal salon before where the stylist asked me personal questions to find my style, made me feel special, complimented the looks, and worked with me on what I liked and didn’t like. I ultimately ended up going with the dress from the other place, and a lot of it had to do with the vibes the stylist gave me and my party that were with me. Dresses there were beautiful, but I because of my bad experience, I did not feel it. Your job is to style brides and help them find their special dress on their special day, and my stylist at Here Comes The Bride did the exact opposite of that.
