By far the best bridal shop! They make you feel so special and make sure you try on all different styles. I had a big party come for the first try-ons and they had champagne and snacks for all of us and they really helped make everyone feel included. They have one-of-a-kind dresses and all the new trending styles as well.

Whatever you do, do not get your alterations done here! The alterations desk lady, possibly the manager, is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. When I bought my dress I was told that alterations costs were "on average".. well today when I went in for my first fitting, it was going to be $800! That is 2/3 of the price of my dress! Today was supposed to be a happy day and I was supposed to feel gorgeous and instead I was in my car crying after walking out with my dress. Here's to finding a tailor who can do it in time now.

Everything about this boutique was so nice. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, we were early, so we got a little bit of time to look around. Their dresses were well organized and so many were out for display. I was paired with Bri, who looked at my dresses I had liked online and brought me all the dresses that were similar. She gave me a ton of options to choose from and listened to all the aspects I liked about the dresses she brought. She was very detail oriented and patient with me. I did find my dress here and I have my alterations with them in May.

This store makes you feel so special as you pick out your dress! They celebrate you with champagne and your loved ones are welcome! I had all of my alterations done through here and the seamstress was absolutely incredible, as I had to order funky sizing. I lived out of town at the time of our wedding planning and they were great at accommodating appointment dates/times for me!

I purchased my wedding dress from Here Comes the Bride and I was so extremely happy with the quality of service they provided. During my initial appointment with them, my bridal consultant was so helpful and really took into account my preferences when pulling dresses for me to try on. My follow-up appointments such as trying on my dress and alterations went perfectly and the seamstress who altered my dress and my mother's dress did such a beautiful job. I would highly recommend checking this place out! Beautiful gowns for very reasonable prices.

This was the second salon I had come to and I had a specific vision, but I was willing to have the professional guide me into other ideas. Was I glad I did that! I ended up with the dress of my dreams that was completely different from what I was going for. My sister-in-law also found her wedding dress here and we both had issues with alterations.. VERY expensive, but the dresses both fit us perfectly, just expensive. I did order an underlay for my dress to add sparkle. Waited almost 6 months for first fitting and it was a completely different underlay than the one I had chosen. Was able to get removed. Overall consultant I had was amazing and the women who did alter my dress did an AMAZING job on fitting my dress to my body.

I was really dreading wedding dress shopping but Katie made it such a wonderful experience. She listened to me and was not pushy like so many other people can be. I felt heard and respected especially about my concerns about getting a dress within my budget. She was very patient and thoughtful. My dress was not one I would have initially envisioned as my wedding dress and I am so happy she pulled it out for me to try on. I would highly recommend her and this store. They have gorgeous dresses and an atmosphere that makes you feel beautiful.

This review is long overdue, but I had an absolutely wonderful experience here and cannot recommend this place enough! I came with my mom and three of my bridesmaids, and we worked with Megan. She was the best and gave so many good recommendations. Coming in, I had a vision of what I thought I wanted, which I was able to try on, but she picked out this ballgown dress that I fell in LOVE with. The dress happened to be in my size and straight off the runway, so I was able to go home with the dress that day! Megan made all of us feel welcome, gave honest and critical feedback (which I appreciated), hyped me up, and overall was so kind.

Love my dress! The appointments and buying process were amazing. I took my dress elsewhere to be altered so unsure about that department.

It was the MOST WONDERFUL experience! They were so attentive and responsive, and hit the nail on the head with my dress! ALL my nerves were immediately calmed, I recommend HCTB to EVERY bride!!!

Had an amazing experience picking out my dress with Morgan! They have so many dresses to browse through! I'm mid size in everyday wear (14) and felt comfortable in majority of the dresses pulled. I tried on probably close to 15-20 different dresses. The entire process was extremely smooth and I had no major issues! The dress I picked and was my size, fit already for the most part except for the strap area was too big. They convinced me to go up a size. The next day, I looked up the measurements on the vendors website vs my measurements they did and the larger size would have required way more alterations than necessary so I called and switched to the accurate size - no problem. During my first alteration appointment (first weekend in January, that I went alone to) I made a joke about holiday food when putting my dress on and the seamstress made a snarky response like "then why did you make an appointment so close to the holidays" - and stormed away. A new seamstress came to work with me and was a lot kinder and had more patience. This was my only issue I had with HCTB. Alterations are cash only, which was not a problem as they told me from the very beginning and I had budget the $650 that is listed on the contract, but mine came in under that. Otherwise, my dress turned out absolutely beautiful and fit me perfectly!!! I felt beautiful and comfortable my entire wedding day :)

I found my beautiful wedding dress here! Although it was different than I imagined, I knew when I put it on that it was the one. Though I still wavered while I waited for it to arrive, the seamstress in particular did an absolutely fantastic job tailoring the dress to me. I went with her recommendations and it had the perfect fluff and float while allowing me to easily do my practiced first dance with my husband. I felt so, so beautiful on my wedding day and absolutely loved my dress. I had good experiences in the store and found the price for my dress and veil to be a good value. While I did not realize the alterations weren't included, I had such a good experience with the tailoring that I didn't mind the extra fee.

Here Comes the Bride was my last stop after visiting 3 other places and when I walked in, I (and my party) immediately felt good vibes. I had already kind of chosen a top dress at another place but as I worked with Gina, she really listened to what I was looking for and found my dream dress! I highly recommend HCTB. It was overall a great experience and all my friends (who don’t live here) want to see Gina again for their own weddings.

Here Comes The Bride was the second boutique I visited and I wish I would have come here first! The experience was so much fun, and I loved being able to pick which dresses I wanted to try myself, while also having the stylist recommend dresses she thought I would like. I worked with Morgan and she was so patient with me and really helped me through the whole process. She knew the dresses and designers so well and was able to tell me which dresses were more customizable than others. I ended up finding my dream dress for way less than I expected to spend, and it arrived exactly in the time frame they quoted me. The selection here is huge and the staff is great; you can’t go wrong!

HCTB was the only bridal salon I attended for both my dress and my bridesmaid dresses. When picking my dress, the stylist was so attentive and helped me figure out where to start and how to narrow down endless options. I ended up getting my dress on my first visit to them! The fittings were quick and seamless and they even offered to hold my dress to do a final pressing/steam on my dress/veil until the Thursday before my wedding! They made the process for ordering bridesmaids' dresses so simple as well. Their whole team is phenomenal and really easy to work with.

SO MANY dress options!! I live in the Loop and shopped at many bridal stores downtown before finding this store. I found a ton of dresses in my budget here and the staff is very friendly and helpful! In-store alterations was worth every penny.

I had an appointment with Adi & she was beyond helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! She helped calm my nerves, and understood where I stood on my wants. Ended up coming back the next day to buy my dress, could not recommend enough!

HCTB has an amazing showroom and on our first trip made our party comfortable. The stylist was patient and helped me find the perfect dress after trying and retrying on several options. It was great to have alterations available in house and the owner was also helpful with the final fittings.

Honestly, if you live in the chicago area and you decide to go anywhere else to shop for your dress, you’ve made a mistake! I cried at my first three appointments when shopping for dresses and thank the lord someone told me to try HCTB!!! They knew exactly how to dress my body type so that I felt like my absolute best self! I could not have had a better experience saying yes to the dress! Also, shout out to Margarita because she was the BEST.

This was my second shop trying on dresses and I always worry being a woman of larger size. Their staff was amazing! Made me feel beautiful and really listened to what I liked. The took all the pieces if past dresses I loved and found the perfect dress that incorporated all the parts. I couldn't be happier with HCTB!! I cannot wait until my wedding day I want to get my dress and wear it everyday 😂

Made an appointment at HCTB with my mom and sister for wedding dress shopping. HCTB has reasonable prices and a huge dress selection. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by Gabby who is incredibly kind, attentive and patient. I was having a hard time deciding between two different silhouettes and so not only did Gabby keep pulling multiple dresses from the two silhouette types, but she recommended alternating between the two. Honestly that advice went a long way because then I decided on a silhouette and found my dress!

I had a great experience and the dresses are reasonably priced. They have a huge selection and my consultant Olivia, was amazing and so helpful. In fact, she ended up picking the dress that ended up being my favorite. Trust the consultant, they know what looks best and what will likely work best for you. I highly recommend using them. Such a great experience.

Had a wonderful experience shopping for my dress especially during covid. unfortunately had a horrible experience picking up my dress since it was the wrong size. I did not feel as though they cared and said it wasn’t their fault with no apologies, not what a bride wants to hear. Ended up getting my dress but very stressful.

I purchased my wedding dress from Here Comes the Bride and loved my experience with them! I went during a trunk show and was able to get a discount on my designers dress. They had a big selection to choose from and were very helpful when it came to listening to what I wanted and helping me narrow it down. I was very impressed with how quickly the dress came in and was ready for pickup.

I went here to look for my wedding dress and from the start, I already had bad vibes. I made an appointment and waited an hour til I could finally be taken back to look at and try on dresses. They said they “didn’t have anyone available for me right now”. It was very busy with lots of other big parties visible and it didn’t feel like an intimate experience. The stylist I was paired with was the biggest vibe killer. She did not seem enthusiastic or happy to be there, and it immediately made me feel like a burden and rushed to find the dress. She would pick them, help put them on, then stand back and just cross her arms with flat affect. I had been to a bridal salon before where the stylist asked me personal questions to find my style, made me feel special, complimented the looks, and worked with me on what I liked and didn’t like. I ultimately ended up going with the dress from the other place, and a lot of it had to do with the vibes the stylist gave me and my party that were with me. Dresses there were beautiful, but I because of my bad experience, I did not feel it. Your job is to style brides and help them find their special dress on their special day, and my stylist at Here Comes The Bride did the exact opposite of that.

I found the dress of my dreams here! The attendants give you SO much attention and really stick with you to help you sort through all the options until you find the right one. They had a large variety, especially in lacey dresses which is what I was looking for. I was a little confused by the alterations process and ended up taking my dress to get altered somewhere else that seemed to have a better deal, but as far as finding and purchasing the dress HCTB was so helpful and communicative!

I found my wedding dress at HCTB. Erin was my consultant, and she was extremely polite, responsive to my tastes, and respectful of my budget. She brought out multiple dresses that were all contenders, and I had a hard time narrowing down my choices! Erin made suggestions for veils and accessories that fit my budget and look really well. After ordering my dress, there were some shipping delays, but the staff at HCTB were courteous and flexible. They covered the rush fees for my alterations to make sure I was ready in time for the big day. Rudi was my alterations seamstress, and she was incredible. Her comments and suggestions made it clear that she is an expert seamstress with plenty of experience. The dress looked amazing on my wedding day, and most importantly, I felt amazing in it!

I had such a great experience at here comes the bride. Era was able to help me find the perfect dress that had all my favorite parts of other dresses I’ve tried on all combined into one dress. I felt so special and my bridal party loved the experience. I was able to find my dream dress well within budget. Definitely recommend!

This dress shop is so amazing. They really know how to take care of their brides! My stylist really listened to me and my group when we were trying on gowns and truly found me the perfect dress, and it was just below my budget! I also returned for alterations at the shop and they did a great job with that as well. The seamstress knew exactly what to do to make the dress fit perfect. When we picked up from alterations they made sure my bridesmaids knew how to bustle my gown and answered any other questions we had before we left.

This place took great care of me, from the style of my gown to the alterations it was handled like a pro and with care... remember you get what you pay for, so don't sell yourself short! Don’t walk, RUN to this bridal store if you’re looking for a gown. I ordered my dress in July 2019, went to the salon a few times just to try it on when it came in, then we had to postpone. I came in AGAIN to try it on and talk to the seamstress and owner (Rose) about different ideas I had for alterations. They were extremely patient and SO kind to me each time (I was a little needy). This was truly an amazing experience during such a stressful time. I am so glad I found literally the BEST bridal salon around! Thank you times a MILLION here comes the bride!

I had looked at so many other shops and boutiques online, but loved the variety they had here. AND they were crazily over priced! Highly recommended coming here. My stylist asked a few questions and knew exactly what I was going for, fell in love with the second dress she pulled. The designer I went with is only at this shop in like all of the Midwest, so this was truly a godsend. Beautiful shop with great selection, affordable gowns, and a great overall experience.

I have loved this place since the day I tried on my wedding dress for the first time! They flew in my Pinterest dream dress and ultimately that was the one i went with! They were so accommodating with appointments for me and my bridesmaids especially when we had to make adjustments to our appointment dates. We'll be back for the rest of my bridesmaids alterations. Such great customer service!

Found my wedding dress here on accident! I am a difficult bride to please and was very critical of almost everything I tried on. I am not over exaggerating when I say I tried on close to 50 dresses at 11 different stores and boutiques. Erin was very patient with me during the process and always kind and professional. The owner, Rose, was lovely as well. Other store associates (I didn’t catch their names) were also patient and willing to help and give their input. Ended up getting my accessories here too. Very pleased with HCTB! Will definitely recommend! Thank you ladies!!

We used Here Comes the Bride for my wedding dress alterations and my moms dress and it was such a good experience! The appointments were super easy in and out appointments and they had the dress ready super quickly and done so perfectly. I decided last minute I wanted real lace floral straps added to my dress because it originally had no show straps which were just thin straps made out of a nude colored thin material and they were digging into my skin due to them being so thin and fragile and by adding the lace straps it made it 100x more comfortable, prettier & really gave my boobs the boost they needed lol.

Working with HCTB was wonderful! I went to many bridal salons and didn't realize how tricky it could be to find a dress. I didn't know what to expect at first since the salon is in a strip mall next to a busy road, but I have recommended HCTB to many friends and co-workers (one of whom ended up getting her dress there too). The dresses are very reasonably priced and I ended up getting my veil and hair clip there as well. All of the women I worked with were very friendly and helpful. One of my bridesmaids had a baby and the salon provided me with recommendations on how her dress could be altered. HCTB sent appointment reminders and handled everything seamlessly. Definitely recommend!

I went dress shopping once and it was here! I told myself before walking in, you are not buying a dress today no matter what. Well I bought my dress that day and walked out with it that day! I believe I worked with the owners daughter that day and she pulled all dresses I wanted or needed to try on. I would say I tried maybe about 15-20, and it turns out she showed me something I wasn’t necessarily looking for but it was everything I needed and wanted! I was the typical bride looking for a lace fitted dress, but got a gorgeous fitted appliqué dress!!! I felt like a goddess in that dress and the alterations lady knew what she was doing! Thank you for my perfect dress! My one stop!! So easy!!

Finding my wedding dress was not as easy as I expected and I don’t know what I would have done without HCTB! As someone who doesn’t dress up often, I found wedding dress shopping a little overwhelming at first. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but after going to a few salons, I became overwhelmed and unsure I would be able to make a decision. However the team at HCTB was great. They were able to help me narrow down my choices and listened to my feedback, and with some encouragement from my sister, I decided on a dress that was the opposite of what I had initially thought I wanted (a Stella York soft ball gown). It was the perfect balance of whimsy and comfort I was looking for and was beautiful , while still being within my budget. My dress ended up coming in months ahead of schedule so I could pick it up early, and they were flexible about where I got it altered, a huge plus because I live out of state. I ended up deciding to do alterations there anyway because I couldn’t find an alterations shop I trusted as much as HCTB and I’m so glad I did. The alterations were fairly priced and the team did a BEAUTIFUL job making sure my dress looked just right. My only feedback would be that the alterations team is only on site Sundays and Thursdays, and given that I wasn’t flying in until the Tuesday before my wedding, I had to pick up my dress two days beforehand, which left little wiggle room if something didn’t fit right! Fortunately, everything fit fine, but I would suggest they offer more days for appointments. Overall, I am truly grateful to the entire team at Here Comes the Bride and highly recommend it to any bride!

I cannot say how happy and pleased we were with HCTB! They were simply amazing! They were so honest and easy to work with! No pressuring, just honest answers and made the entire wedding dress shopping experience from ordering to alterations to pick up, relaxed and fun! They have a great selection of gorgeous gowns and veils to try on, too!! Not like some boutiques that have a few displayed and bring you out what "they" think you are looking for...Highly highly recommend them!!

Loved this place! Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. I found the perfect dress and they made it so easy!

HCTB was absolutely wonderful. The staff specially ordered a dress for me to try on as it was not available in any local stores. When it came time to try on and choose a dress, they were sweet and accommodating. They listened to suggestions from my party, but took my word more seriously which I really appreciated. After trying on probably 15 dresses, I finally got to the one I ordered which they (brilliantly!) saved for last. It was THE ONE. (The design is Scarlett by Rebecca Ingram, if anyone is wondering.) My try-on (once my actual dress came in), alteration, and final fitting appointments all went smoothly and they helped me to choose a veil and see the whole vision with my hairpiece and shoes. Alterations were great, and they took into account things I never would have thought about - for example, they gave me fashion tape to stick down the open back of my dress and reminded me that the lace sleeves would stretch out after wearing my dress for a bit. The alterations are on the pricey side, and definitely pay in cash because there’s an extra fee if you pay by card, but it’s totally worthwhile for the experience I had. They’re also ALWAYS busy so make sure to book your appointments early!

This was the first dress shop I went to and the one where I ended up buying my dress. The consultant was very pleasant--she listened to what I wanted, found dresses to fit, encouraged me to try on dresses that were a bit out of my comfort zone, and wasn't pushy at all. When I came back two other times to try on dresses for more family members, she was just as accommodating. The dress came in right on schedule in time for the wedding. I also had alterations done here, which were efficient and reasonably priced. Everyone I interacted with was lovely and I was so pleased with my dress! It really was a dream come true on the wedding day.

HCTB was great to work with. I found a dress in michigan that I loved and they had something similar and much cheaper. All of the girls were so great to work with. They told me alterations may be cheaper somewhere else but I wanted it done through them and they did an awesome job. I didn’t have anyone come with me to my final fitting and they took a video of the bustle for my MOH. I loved my experience with them and can’t thank them enough for the perfect dress!
