I went to multiple other shops on the hunt for my wedding dress and wasn't all that pleased with my experiences until finding Here Comes The Dress. They have an awesome selection - not too many dresses that you're overwhelmed but just enough in each style that are obviously hand-selected with care. I would recommend Here Comes The Dress, they certainly made my experience shopping for a wedding-dress one to remember!

They work with you throughout your various appointments to make sure you are 100% happy with the gown you are walking out with. They do not have an extremely large selection of dresses and most dresses are in with the trends at the moment such as lace. But they do have all styles of dresses available to try on. I ended up with a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown that was a delicate lace on the whole dress with a small yet perfect size train and a sweetheart neckline. They also have a really cute sign you get to take a picture with once you have picked your dress saying I said yes at Here Comes the Dress. One downfall is this is a very small shop so you cannot bring a large number of people with you to watch you try on dresses. I had 3 people with me and I don't think I could have many more than that. But it would out because that really should be an intimate moment when you pick the dress of your dreams. I would recommend this shop to every bride looking for her perfect gown.

aught--not the kind of places that made me want to make a large purchase of a fashionable and white dress. Here Comes the Dress is one of the two boutiques that was actually modern, pristene, and beautiful. Aubrey and her staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Antonella, the seamstress, makes very skillful alterations. I didn't find my dress at HCTD, but I chose to order it through them because I knew I could trust them to complete the order and fittings in a pleasant fashion.

e shop is extremely cute and they have beautiful dresses – you’ll be sure to find something you love there. I did however have troubles with the seamstress that handles the bridal gowns. There is a slight language barrier with her and it is sometimes hard to communicate what you do or do not like about the way the dress fits. Needless to say, I was not happy with her work. I would highly recommend requesting the seamstress that handles bridesmaid dresses to work on your dress to save you from the turmoil I went through. But regardless, I would recommend this place because the owner and Marilyn, a worker there, are fantastic. I tried dresses on at many bridal shops and they were by far the best of them all.

Aubrey was quick to respond to emails, courteous, and 100% conscientious of my budget. I can't say enough about them. --too far to have alterations done there. Here comes the dress did my alterations anyway and did an absolutely perfect job. The dress fit me like a glove and was comfortable at the same time. Their seamstress is incredibly talented!

After giving up on the Chicago area, I contacted Here Comes the Dress via e-mail and got a response right away. They didn't have it, but would be happy to order a sample so that I could try it on again. From that point forward, they went above and beyond on everything. I ordered my dress through them, even got it on sale. When it came in, I was in the process of moving back to the east coast. Although I wasn't able to do my alterations with them, they had me try on the dress, gave me recommendations for what to have altered, then found and contacted a reputable alterations store where I was moving. I highly, highly recommend Here Comes the Dress!!!

The staff was always friendly and helpful and their were no issues with the dresses. I live in the area and had my alterations done here and their seamstress is very nice and did a great job on my dress. I will return when I start my search for my wedding dress!

selection and atmosphere here. She was looking for a specific style, which we called ahead and were notified that they would have during the trunk show. Despite it being a very busy day for the boutique, we were given ample time for my daughter to decide if this was the right dress for her. We didn't feel pressured and were even offered wine to help us all settle our nerves! I've read in previous reviews about the ladies who work here and I can attest they go above and beyond to make sure their brides (and moms) are happy! I will be coming back when it's time to find my dress as well!

So it wasn't entirely Here Comes the Dress's fault, but after I emailed the pictures of the two different dresses/colors, they never followed through with anything. If it was the manufacturer that no longer produced that dress in that color then they should have told me, instead of waiting till it came in, 6 weeks before my wedding. I also got my alterations through them, I paid $140 for a bustle....thats pretty outrageous! So ask around for a reliable seamstress bc everyone knows someone. I could have probably got a bustle for $40-$60...

other and I arrived, Cathy and Kelly treated us like their guests of honor, making sure we were settled in and comfortable and explaining how the process would work. Then it was off to the dresses! Cathy encouraged me to keep an open mind and told me to pull any dress that I thought could be a possibility. While I knew I found my dress from the moment I saw it, I continued to pull until I had about 20 dresses. Like any wise and seasoned bridal consultant, Cathy encouraged me to try the dress I fell in love with on the hanger on first and I immediately knew we had a winner. Keeping an open mind, I tried on every other dress I pulled and in the end I went back to #1. Talk about having that princess moment – I think Cathy and Kelly joined my mother in shedding a few happy tears. To top it all off, the dress was right at budget! Due to my positive experience we also ordered my bridesmaid dresses here and I have to say I was once again impressed with the professionalism and empathy of the staff. In order to accommodate a few hard-to-fit bridesmaids we ended up having to order half of the dresses from another boutique and then, due then to some unusual circumstances with the designer, my MOH’s dress was discontinued after we had ordered and paid for it. At some places you’d worry about not getting your money back or feeling pressured to order all of your dresses from them. Not the case at Here Comes the Dress. They truly do what is in the best interest of the bride at all times which is a benefit you can’t put a price on. My highest praise and commendation to all of the lovely ladies at HCTD!

I ordered it from them it was $400 cheaper than in Illinois! After a snow storm, the arrival of my gown was delayed and Aubrey (owner) took it upon herself to go to multiple FedEx stores in order to find it while I was in town. In addition, she opened up the store on Christmas Eve so that I could try on my bridal gown and find the perfect accessories to go with it. No other store would go through the trouble that she did to make sure I had my dress when it was promised to me (even though it was 4 months before my wedding)!! Thank you, again, Here Comes the Dress! The alterations were also done perfectly, and they even agreed to do my mothers dress which wasn't purchased there. I would highly recommend this store to anyone! It has the boutique feel with VERY reasonable prices!

stores all over Indiana and this was, without a doubt, the best customer service I encountered. My email inquiries were answered promptly, even when the store was closed. The women in the store welcomed me and my family and made us feel at home. I felt like they were really listening to me so that I could find the perfect dress. I also felt absolutely no pressure to make a decision that day, which I really appreciated. I couldn't be happier with the dress I chose and I'm so thankful for your help in making it possible!

ed online and HCTD was the ONLY vendor in Indiana that carried the line. Off I went to Valparaiso and I am SO GLAD that I did! Wow! From the very first call, I was nothing short of impressed. My initial visit was fun and unhurried. And, while the dress that I was most interested in was not available at the store, there were several examples of both the designer and fabric type. I got a very good idea that what I originally saw online was very likely exactly what I wanted. And, I felt that the staff was honest regarding the look and style for my age and body type. Rebel that I am, I took the chance and ordered the dress I had seen online and VOILA! My dress arrived and it is beyond PERFECT! The best part about my second visit was that the entire staff was excited for me to arrive, see my choice for the very first time and try on my gown!! What a testament to small town shopping! We had an absolute blast! Buying my dress was the first step I thought I should take toward planning our event because I felt that it's design and color would set the tone for all other arrangements. And that is true. What also happened as a result of my dress shopping experience was that is was such a happy and relatively easy experience, my attitude toward all other planning for our event has been much more relaxed. While the BIG DAY is still a ways off, I'm pretty sure that one of the things that will be most remembered is how lovely and appropriate my dress was for the day. There is a lot to be said for that and I truly appreciate having found this boutique and all of the wonderful ladies who work there.

I attended on a weekend there was an Allure Bridals trunk show, so the boutique was very busy, but the associates were friendly and didn't rush me as I made my selection. They also served free (white) wine which was definitely a nice touch! I would recommend this store to other brides who are looking for a place to purchase their dress that provides friendly professional service, but I would definitely make an appointment since they only have two fitting rooms.

From the moment I walked in, my mother and I had a warm welcome at the door followed by an invitation to the beverage of our choice. HCTD showed initiative to get to know me on a personal level before looking through their extravagant selection of bridal gowns. HCTD helped me to discover the wedding dress of my dreams. Due to my wonderful experience I decided to take my girls back to the quaint boutique to find their bridesmaid dresses. HCTD was very helpful with offering suggestions and advice, they even allowed me to put on the sample of my wedding gown to see how it would look up against the bridesmaid dresses. HCTD aims to please their customers, I feel it's their goal in life to make every bride feel important, special and beautiful on their wedding day!

I came in a few times after to try on the dress I bought for my dad and later for my mother-in-law, and she had no problem letting me model it for each audience. I bought my veil and was concerned that it was not straight, but after she showed me how it was supposed to lay on my head, I was assured that it was correctly cut. Again, I loved the experience at Here Comes the Dress, I felt like my appointment was of utmost importance (you may not get that feeling at other bridal shops).

After visiting 4 other bridal boutiques, I decided to check out a trunk show that HCTD was hosting with the hopes of finally finding "the one". As it turned out, the dress that I had come there to try on, I hated. Luckily for me, the ladies at HCTD were incredibily helpful and made suggestions for me without being pushy. I had poured over probably 1000's of photos of dresses on the web and was pretty sure I knew what I wanted. At the previous boutiques I visited, I tried on versions of this idea. It took the expertise and careful listening skills of these ladies to lead me in the right direction and help me find the absolute perfect dress. I ended up purchasing my dress that day based on one of their reccommendations!The owner even let me try on a strand of pearls she was wearing that day to help me complete the look (I wanted lots of strands of pearls with one hanging in the back). In addition to being completely satisfied with my dress, I also was happy with the price. While browsing, I saw dresses at HCTB that I had seen at other shops. The prices at HCTB were significantly lower. Not to mention the difference in sales tax if you are coming from Chicago, which I was. They also worked with me on the price of my dress and slip to fit within my budget. My advice to brides out there...go to Here Comes the Dress and have the dress shopping experience you've been dreaming of. It is a beautiful, intimate salon with great dresses and even better staff. They really made me feel very special. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

idal appointment with them. On the day of my appointment, I arrived with my mom, my maid of honor, and her mom. They made us feel warm and cozy. They were really understanding of what I wanted in a dress. The consultant (Cathy I think) did all the work and was so muchh fun. Audrey was super nice and answered all of the questions my mom and I had. They are also very quick in answering emails and voicemails. I can not wait to go back and pick out my shoes and jewlery to go with my dress, and I can not wait till my dress comes in! P.S. Ditch those big overrated bridal stores and go here!
