Natalie did SUCH a wonderful job with our wedding photos! All of the pictures turned out beautifully, and so perfectly captured our wedding day. She was so easy to work with and so many of our guests came up to me and said they loved our photographer! She is genuine and kind, but also professional and straightforward. I couldn't recommend her enough to anyone who is looking for a photographer!

Natalie is not only an amazing photographer, but kind and easy to work with. She was able to capture all of the special moments of our backyard wedding, even making my dad smile in pictures which is a feat in itself! We absolutely love how natural everyone looks in our photos and how Natalie took the time to make people feel comfortable with having a photographer around. I cannot recommend her enough! Natalie was so amazing to work with for our wedding and I would hire her again in a minute if we were doing it again. Her photos are absolutely stunning and she was great to work with. She helped us feel natural and just enjoy our time together when we were doing photos of just the two of us. She was encouraging, gave some cues as needed but didn't over do it and many of our photos feel candid nd natural rather than stage (because they weren't for the most part). Natalie takes great candid photos and is so easy to work with. I really appreciated that she had a survey for us prior to the wedding to get to know us, who would be attending, and other aspects to know about the wedding and what photos we would want. We did not have a traditional wedding in the least and Natalie was game for all aspects of it including hiking around a little for photos in the forest and in the end they were just stunning. I would absolutely recommend Natalie for anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the area.

Natalie is INCREDIBLE! Her calm energy brought a peace to the wedding that was so needed, she is so creative and was there to catch every moment we could ever want, and she was so easy to work with through re-scheduling through COVID. Would recommend her in a second to any couples about to get married. She gave us a special sneak peak within a day, too! And super accommodating to last minute requests for certain shots. We loved her. Great communication as well.

We HIGHLY recommend Natalie from Here Today Photography. When we got engaged, we knew that we wanted Natalie to capture our day because her photos are beautiful and authentic. True to form, we just got our photos back and they perfectly capture the emotion of the day. When we look through them it's like we get to re-experience all of the love and joy from that day all over again. Natalie made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and she fit in so well with our families. I also need to note a couple of ways that Natalie went completely above and beyond what we would expect from any wedding photographer. First, just a few days before our wedding, we found out that our sweet dog was sick. I had had her since she was 4 weeks old, and this news was completely devastating. When I told Natalie about this, she made sure to capture extra photos of our girl - both a couple days before our wedding and again during our wedding. Our dog passed away just three weeks after our wedding, so I will cherish these photos forever. I am so grateful that Natalie was there to capture our beautiful girl. Natalie was also soooo great to work with as we navigated the post-Covid world. We live on the East Coast and Natalie lives on the West Coast, which of course, made everything all the more complicated. Natalie was so open to discuss different options and contingency plans. Her open communication style and flexibility allowed us to find a way to make it work so that everyone involved (Natalie included!) felt comfortable. We ended up having Natalie fly out East a week early so that she would have time to quarantine before the wedding. She also got a Covid-19 test (as did all of our guests), which made everyone feel safe. We would work with Natalie again in a minute and would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone in need of a talented and compassionate photographer!

Natalie captured our wedding so it could be relived through photographs. She caught all candid moments and made our posed photos appear natural and candid (which can be hard for people who aren't super comfortable being in front of a camera). Natalie really loves what she does - which can be seen through her photos. Plus she is the absolute sweetest and makes you feel so comfortable during such a stressful time. We highly recommend Natalie for anyone in the market for a photographer!

We found her through Instagram, which is basically how we found our wedding ceremony venue. She sent us a really thoughtful questionnaire before the wedding and when the day arrived, she fit in so well with our family and made everything feel natural. Natalie was amazing to work with from beginning to end. She was always available for questions and support while we worked through a planning/having a covid-era wedding. The day of our wedding she was professional and courteous and went above and beyond, integrating herself in with our guests and family. She even helped one of our family members personally-we SO appreciated her ability to be both professional and a real person who helped out when/where she could. Natalie was so kind and easy to work with, which I think is an amazing thing to be able to say given all the craziness of having a wedding this year. Even better, the pictures were beautiful and really captured the "essence" of the day. Natalie is like none other. Our wedding photos came out ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! They were beautiful and she creatively took pictures of objects in our home that reflected our personalities. Not to mention she edited our photos in 2 days, and they still came out WAAAYYYY better than our other photographers photos for our engagement shoot. If we hadn't had already paid the other photographer in full, we would've flown Natalie out for our wedding reception in Hawaii next year. She's that good! and I'm very picky on who I compliment :) She is the sweetest person and made us feel comfortable the entire time, which was reflected in our photos. My sister and brother-in-law were there at our photo shoot and she offered to take pictures of them as well. They even said if they need to take any pictures in the future they'll only go to Natalie (us too!) We're so grateful she was able to accommodate for us on a somewhat short notice. Oh man, where do I begin? Natalie is such a doll. She was the first photographer I had talked to over the phone and once I did, I knew I didn’t need to look any further. I had been attracted to Natalie’s style because of the raw and true emotions she would capture in her photos and I respected her kind and prompt communication. After COVID-19 cancelled our original engagement photos in Colorado, we contacted Natalie to take them for us here in Oregon. We had never taken professional photos before so we were quite nervous but WOW, Natalie put us at ease and produced the most amazing photos that really show our personalities. When we got engaged there were two things we knew for sure, we were madly in love and we needed a photographer who could capture every ounce of that love. While looking for a wedding photographer, Here Today Photography amazed us with their ability to capture the real and raw moments. I cried and laughed as I looked through the portfolio photos of weddings. I felt as if I was present in the photograph and experiencing the love and pure happiness the couples felt. We called Natalie immediately, and she was the first vendor we booked as we knew it was the perfect fit. I could write pages about how thankful we are to have met someone who is as passionate, talented, and kindhearted as Natalie. Our story is a bit different from other weddings, as we are one of the couples who has been impacted by Covid-19. Our large wedding was canceled, and we were at a loss. Our loved ones health and safety mattered above all else. When I called Natalie, heartbroken that everything we had planned for years was now altered, she expressed heartbreak, compassion, and understanding. Natalie collaborated with us, and navigated through multiple changes in plans and the public health concerns. Love won, and we decided to elope with our parents and siblings on our original wedding date. The day of our wedding Natalie became part of the family. With only 12 guests, having a photographer who doesn’t blend in but becomes part of the family astonished us and made for a natural flow of events. When the clouds rolled in and the rain persisted, we started to worry, but then I saw Natalie, she had come early and was exploring the venue. The first thing she said was how stunning the drive was and she took a detour to capture the beauty of the mountains in the storm. She saw beauty and art in the rain, and at that moment I also saw the beauty in the stormy landscape. Neither a pandemic nor a summer storm would stop us. Natalie buzzed around our venue and captured every moment, from set up, hair and makeup, to the clouds rolling in over the mountains. We had discussed over the phone and through email leading up to our wedding what specifics we wanted and our vision for the day. This planning made the day flow smoothly as we knew there was no need to worry about the photography, our attention was on our family and the blissful moments of our wedding day. From the small details to the bold mountains and stormy skies, Natalie captured it all. We are so thrilled with our photos and the overall experiences we had, we couldn’t recommend Here Today Photography enough!!!

The way Natalie at Here Today Photography edits photos is beautiful and timeless. Our engagement photos were at an iris field and farm that she had never been to, and within a few minutes, she found amazing angles that didn’t include other people in the background and framed us in flowers. On the wedding day, we were in daisy fields and filbert orchards, and Natalie highlighted the naturally beauty around us as well as making us the focus of each photo. Natalie’s style of capturing candid moments is so unique and authentic. My husband’s favorite thing about working with Natalie is how comfortable she made us feel while taking our photos. He tells everyone how she mades us laugh together from silly kissing tasks, walking while bumping hips, and her newly wed game. I’ve had other photographers at friends and family weddings say they like candid photos but make the group feel bad for not knowing how to be candid on their own. Candid photos don’t just happen when you’re dressed up and standing in front of a stranger. Natalie’s tricks lead to comfortable and fun moments, which make you forget that you’re having your photo taken and fantastic candid photos. She’s also just on it with photography timing of fun moments. For example, she suggested that I move my wedding dress to the window for better light, which is a clever strategy for candid photos, but she was also watching and taking photos of my friends getting ready at the same time. Natalie is incredibly friendly while also giving people space to be present with each other. While taking photos on the wedding day, she connected with my family and friends. She sang our silly songs with us, accepted random candy from my brother, and joked with my dad about flashlights because of what she had read on our wedding website. I love that she took the time to get to know us as a couple and our family and friends before the wedding day by reading what we posted online and talking with everyone on the day. She expertly balances talking to guests with blending into the background when necessary. It also felt like having another guest instead of stranger at the wedding, which is another reason why I HIGHLY recommend having her do engagement photos before the wedding. Our engagement photos turned out beautifully, made me feel more excited about wedding day, and were great for the saved the dates. More than her photography, her writing about each event she attends is magical. She writes about the vibe of the couple and the day with such descriptive and touching words! Logistically, her emailing etiquette is prompt, friendly, detailed, understandable, and sounds just like her in person. The couple times that she couldn’t reply with as much detail as she wanted, she would reply saying what she was doing (usually exploring in nature or photographing another event) and when she would be able to answer more thoroughly then followed through well! We also talked on the phone before our engagement session to finalize details and texted during the day, all of which went smoothly! As I mentioned before, her pricing is so reasonable, and another reason to hire her for any event. Our wedding plans changed a ton, and Natalie was flexible and understanding the whole way through!! I recommend Here Today Photography to anyone wanting photographs from engagement sessions, weddings, maternity, and especially elopements. My husband agreed we could work with Natalie again soon, and I can’t wait!

Natalie is absolutely amazing. Not just her work, but herself. I’m so thankful we got to have her take photos and share our special day with her. My father in law was in OHSU hospital, he couldn’t come out to share our day, he sat on the other side of the window. The photos turned out beautiful and she made sure everything was accommodated for. We had two people fall through and honestly I’m so thankful they did because I couldn’t be more happy with the way things turned out. If it is important to you to have a lot of posed and formal photographs of your wedding, I don't think Natalie would be the right photographer for you. But for us, her style was perfect. Having Natalie photograph our wedding was a wonderful experience. She is so laid back and sweet and immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera by just allowing us to be ourselves and then doing her magic to capture the moments we never want to forget. I could not have been happier with to have Natalie photograph our wedding. I found her on Instagram and loved her style very un-posed but so incredibly beautiful, almost cinematic. She was also a joy to work with day of calming, kind and funny (we joked around a lot day of and she was on board :) . LOVE LOVE LOVE Natalie! It was so stressful researching the many photographers in the Portland area but with one phone call with Natalie, I knew she was the one! Our first in-person interaction was the day of the wedding and it felt like we had known Natalie forever. She is so personable, sweet, and made us feel so natural and comfortable in front of the camera. Natalie is super easy to work with and was very timely/professional. We are SOOO happy with our photos, she captured the day beautifully and I am in tears every time I look at them. Thank you so so much Natalie.

There are not enough amazing things to say about Natalie and Here Today Photography! She photographed our engagement and wedding photos. The price cannot be beat and the quality of her photos is amazing! Not to mention, she is just the nicest and sweetest down to earth person. Natalie was the most incredible photographer for our wedding. Her attitude, demeanor, and warmth were the perfect fit for me and my husband. In the months leading up to the wedding, Natalie was more than happy to meet with us in person or on the phone. She was also responsive over email when we were trying to set our wedding day timeline, and she helped us figure out how early to start for the first look, how much time to allot for family photos, etc. The day of the wedding , it unexpectedly began pouring rain. Natalie was completely prepared with clear umbrellas and was a trooper in the rain, scouting out the best places for our first look and family photos. Throughout the wedding day Natalie was there to capture each moment beautifully. We are so grateful to her for her amazing ability to capture each unique moment. None of the photos feel over-edited or layered with disingenuous filters - they all feel real and filled with love. For our price point, we couldn't have imagined a better photographer. We stumbled across Here Today Photography and Natalie's work on Instagram of all places. I researched photographers for weeks! Her photos clearly stood out from the rest-clean, classic with deep rich tones and full of truly happy faces. We wanted engagement photos before our wedding but didn't have the time to travel down to Portland (we live in Alaska) so we reached out to Natalie on the slightest chance she could travel to us. And she did! Full of adventure and spunk we felt like instant friends. Natalie has such a skill for fitting right in to any group of people. She reads the room well, can either blend in or insert herself into conversation, and is full of meaningful and insightful questions to get to know you. I believe these to be important characteristics of a wedding photographer. Our photos from both our engagement shoot and wedding were beyond what we could have imagined! Truly cherished pieces of art that we couldn't wait to display in our home-and repeatedly admired by all who view them. She let us just be "us" and do and wear and act what we normally do, no crazy posses or gestures. But she also gave us clear direction because we are not a natural photo couple-haha! Turn around time for both engagement session and wedding was 4 weeks which is just unheard of in this industry. Both came with sneak peaks the next day to hold us over which were often my favorites. I really can't say enough positive things about Natalie. She's reliable, thorough, a good communicator, calm, professional and just all around good company to have. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera which was really important to us when many moments are sacred and intimate. The photos really speak for themselves and in my opinion, what you receive is worth FAR MORE than what she charges. Don't even question hiring Natalie, it's honestly a no-brainer! We can't wait for another excuse for her to come take more photos of us!

Natalie is incredible. Her pictures are beyond words gorgeous. She as a person is adorable and so sweet. Everyone at our wedding commented on how fun it was to watch her sneak around and capture the perfect candid moments, while making it seem as if she wasn't even there. I want Natalie to take pictures of me everywhere!
