Hey! I’m Rebecca. I started taking photos at Punk shows when I was 13.. Think MxPx, Bad Religion, The Offspring. As I grew, my love of music and photography only merged more and more. I’ve photographed almost any band you throw at me over after over 20 years of concerts! Much like photographing at a concert venue, that challenge of a new venue, interesting (or awesome) lighting, constant “I don’t know what to do with my hands” makes weddings all that more fun! Over those 20 plus years I’ve lived and worked in Virginia, Oregon, California and for now over 10 years in New York, I was lucky enough to be a Navy brat so I’ve seen so much of the States as well as 2 1/2 years in Iceland.
I started wedding and family photography while finishing up my Bachelors in Fine Art in Advertising photography, eating way too may burritos and riding my bike all over San Francisco and at the Academy of Art. I’ve finally settled in the Hudson Valley in New York with my husband who is also a pretty epic photographer and will occassionally join and photograph in 35mm or medium format fim.
Even though we just settled into life in the Hudson Valley in Feb. of 2021 I have been photographing weddings in the area for close to 11 years at venues such as: Whitbey Castle in Rye NY ,Feast at Round Hill in Washingtonville, NY, University Settlement Camp in Beacon, NY (honestly one of my favorites), Onteora Mountain House in Boiceville, NY, and can’t forget, West Point Academy at the Thayer Hotel (GO NAVY!!!!), Round House in Beacon, Brotherhood Winery, Fortune Valley Manor, so many incredible venues here!!!
I am very photojournalistic and choose to capture your day as it happens with as little intervention as needed, unless you want me to in that case, we can make it a cover of vogue magazine!! The one good thing about that BFA in Photo is I know my way around a light and have a pretty cool background working in Magazine and Advertising. Lets do this!!
Ok, first of all, Congrats!! I started out with a toy camera at the age of 3 and never stopped. I began in punk music photography at the ripe old age of 12 and continued for close to 20 years as well as advertising and editorial working for magazine such as Marie Claire, People and Alternative Press. As well I have a BA in Advertising Photography. Now I bring that free, fast, easy, fun spirit to every aspect of wedding photography. I’m there to capture every fun second of your day. You will relive actual amazing moments, never ones that were set up or staged. It’s all making rad photos! The best thing about where I live is that I'm central to all of New York, Northern NJ, Pennsylvania, and Western Connecticut. I'm always excited for a drive to the Adirondacks or a train ride down to NYC for an engagement shoot and everywhere in between.

Rebecca is the BEST! Not only does she have the absolute best creative eye, but she also is so personable! Both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day were so fun because makes it so easy to take photos! Cameras can be intimidating and you may feel nervous, but she makes it so easy to be natural and comfortable. May I also add that she is incredibly quick with not only communication, but also receiving photos too! She sends you a sneak peak the night of and not even a week later we received our entire wedding gallery! Our photos are stunning and I look at them almost every day, even four months later.

We cannot recommend Rebecca enough! She was amazingly professional throughout the entire wedding process. We had such a blast with her during our engagement shoot. We had a vision to take our engagement photos with snow outdoors and Rebecca recommended a few perfect locations for us. The photos came out absolutely perfect! She also knocked it out of the park for our wedding pictures. She perfectly captured the natural beauty of our wedding location and put us at ease while taking our wedding portraits. Rebecca was always super quick and got us our photos really fast. Highly recommend booking with Rebecca you won’t regret it!

Rebecca is fantastic! Our experience with her was so absolutely wonderful. From our first call everything was super easy and we worked with her for our engagement photos, courthouse paper wedding, and the big day in September! I love how she captured our guests, family, and of course us as a couple. The photos are so treasured especially because we had too much fun to take any ourselves! Can't recommend enough! <3

We cannot say enough nice things about Beckah and her team. From the very first moment of contact with her, we knew we had found a kindred spirit, and we were so excited to have her shoot our celestial-punk wedding.
Her portfolio speaks for itself - she has a singular talent for finding the subject of the photo and framing them in the most genuine, interesting way, and her shutter never stops clicking. She’s not afraid to direct you if you’re having trouble finding a pose or if she has a vision for a partifular shot, but she also allowed us plenty of leeway to be genuinely in the moment with each other and find our own poses or share our own ideas. She has so much experience, and has shot so many weddings, but still our photos feel fresh and uniquely ours.
A few things I want to epecially call out is that Beckah and her second shooter made sure to capture shots of our guests. In looking through our wedding album after the fact, we have photos of every single person who attended our wedding. This is such a nice gesture, and so thoughtful on their part, because now we can see how our guests looked and felt on our wedding day when we couldn’t be beside them.
I also want to call out that Beckah did not leave our side, but she never felt intrusive or out of place. She truly was a fly on the wall, capturing moments that were so special without even alerting us to her presence.
We are so grateful to Beckah and her team, absolutely enchanted by our photos, and cannot recommend her enough.

Rebecca was truly a pleasure to work with from day one! From our engagement photos in the spring to our wedding weekend in the fall, she made us feel comfortable and at ease. Her communication throughout was lightening fast and she kept us informed through the whole process. Our engagement photos came out beautiful with the perfect amount of moodiness and pop of color that we wanted for the spring. Our wedding photos in the fall were exactly what we were hoping for; capturing the beautiful and candid moments of our wedding day. From the pictures, you can really get a sense of what it felt like to be there, and that meant so much to us considering that we had many family members that weren't able to travel to be at our wedding in person. Even through a little miscommunication bump in the road regarding some specifics on wedding day, we were able to sort things out and Rebecca went out of her way to help us edit some photos to meet our needs. I cannot speak highly enough of Rebecca's professionalism and quality of her work. She has a rare talent for capturing the spontaneous and real moments of love and raw emotion without it feeling forced. In addition, her pricing was extremely fair and her turn around times are debatably the best in the industry. She sent us 10 edited photos to view the morning after our wedding! All in all, 10/10.

After a situation with our original photographer, Rebecca took our call two months out in the airport on her way overseas. We were so thankful she was free for our wedding date because we cannot rave about her more. Our first call made us feel so confident. The day of the wedding she was so efficient and our bridal party was saying how quick and awesome she was. We got our picture back faster than the contract stated and they are stunning!!! We could not recommend Rebecca more! She was a pleasure to work with.

Rebecca is a true artist and a treasure of a human. My husband and I were looking for elevated photography that was still grounded in reality. We were more interested in organic and candid shots rather than anything too posed. Shooting with Rebecca felt like we were hanging out with a good friend we’ve known for years. She has an incredible eye, and is always open to spontaneous inspiration from her surroundings. This allowed for a truly fun photo shoot that flowed naturally and smoothly. Rebecca and her second photographer Sam were an absolute delight to spend our wedding day with—they are both down to earth, fun people, and extremely professional. Rebecca sent us 37 sneak preview shots THE NIGHT OF THE WEDDING! She had all of the 1500+ photos edited and sent to us less than TWO WEEKS after the wedding (including files for both web and print)! She even wrote a beautiful blog about our wedding day. She’s just the best.

Look NO further, Rebecca is IT! Rebecca made me feel so comfortable taking photos for my wedding day at Whitby Castle. She was very attentive to what our vision was and what pictures we wanted to take with our party and our families. I even woke up the next morning to a preview of photos sent the night of my wedding which was such an amazing surprise. We received are photos back soo quickly and all look so beautiful. We chose Rebecca because we noticed how candid her photos are - she truly brings out the 'personality' of the couples she has worked with, and she was able to capture that with us. Rebecca is easy and straightforward to work with. In person she is sweet and funny - our family and bridal party made comments about how kind she is. Our photos are exactly what I asked for and just STUNNING beyond what I even expected. We now have a ton of photos and are so happy to see the moments of our guests enjoying our Wedding while we were off mingling. If i could give Rebecca 100 stars i would! She took the crazy and wild visions that i had for our engagement shoot and our wedding images and she made all of my photo dreams come true. We went to Rebecca with some left-field ideas and she took them to the next level with her amazing photographic eye. We have so many perfect images that we keep saying it will be impossible to choose which few to print and hang in our home.
That all being said, Rebecca is not only an amazing photographer who can take on any surprise detail that I throw at her, but she is SO easy to get along with. Getting photographed by her is like bringing one of your oldest friends along with you to document the best days of your life, and she cheers you and pumps you up on along the way.
I honestly can’t imagine our wedding without Rebecca being part of it, and I will never have any other photographer shoot my husband and i going forward!

I cannot even tell you how amazing Rebecca is! Professional, so easy to work with, and chill, which I loved. Not to mention, so good at her job!! Rebecca did our engagement shoot and we are so awkward but she was great at directing us and capturing beautiful shots. For the wedding….oh wow…..from the moment she got there it was such a relief. She kept us on track time wise, and organized a few pictures before the ceremony. Since we didn’t do a first look, she grabbed us right away for our couple pics and omg…her and her colleague Samantha were incredible. They whipped us through pictures so we could get to our cocktail hour, held our drinks, styled my fur….it was all just so natural. Through the reception they were EVERYWHERE, and I cannot wait to see all the pics. Rebecca sent me a sneak peek and let me tell you….WOW. My friend who had just gotten married said “wow…she’s good” too. Hire Rebecca!! Her energy is exactly what you need on your wedding day.

I am so THRILLED we had Rebecca as our photographer! She was like family. There were times when I forgot she was working (because we were having such a blast) and she would show me pictures I had no idea she took! Every picture was stunning and gorgeous! It was so natural. Rebecca was AMAZING. I really cannot emphasize how happy we are with her services and photos. My husband and I are not accustomed to posing for photos and she made us feel so comfortable and have a blast during the engagement shoot and the wedding. She expertly structures the photos but somehow manages to make everything look (and feel) genuine and candid. She’s so efficient, she gets the perfect picture and then keeps things moving. She was careful to get all the shots we wanted and to get the pics that everyone truly wants but are so hard to get: the photos of everyone laughing and having fun. And most importantly, she’s a blast. She’s the consummate professional and we will never hire another photographer.

Rebecca was a phenomenal photographer to work with! She worked with us on our engagement and wedding shoot. Rebecca definitely went above and beyond for our engagement photos. I approached her with our unique situation and she exceeded all expectations with grace. Rebecca assisted me with delivering a surprise engagement to my fiance by posing as a guide to a private tour on a trail so she can capture our moments in real time. Rebecca went as far as to researching facts to make the "tour" feel real. As for developing the photos, Rebecca delivered the photos same day and amazed us both with her attention to detail. Rebecca is a true master of her art, taking pictures in such a candid form that allows us both to relive our special moments forever. We highly recommended her without any reservations.

Rebecca was truly amazing at our Whitby Castle Wedding. She brought the calm and patience presence our gigantic family needed that day! Not only did Rebecca get every shot I asked for (and there were A LOT!), she also gave us a sneak peak 3 days later! The photos were stunning and I couldn’t be happier! My (now legal) life partner and I planned a last minute elopement style, micro wedding in two weeks and we got so lucky Rebecca was available last minute. From the beginning she was super responsive and collaborative in working through details with me. After we had a pre-call, I was very assured in her calm yet creative demeanor. She sent a loose outline for me to fill out regarding shots I wanted which helped organize me in terms of the day’s schedule.
My expectations were blown out of the water when Rebecca arrived to our event in person. She was timely and so, so chill even though we changed the location of the first look and I was running behind schedule. She was a great balance between giving us space to figure this out but also giving artistic direction so not a moment was lost. We were completely comfortable with her around and she was always working to get us the best shots—candid and posed.
The images are beautiful and amazing! I’ve only had them a day and I’ve shared and looked at them over 10 times. My friends and family also think the photos are incredible and gorgeous. The compositions are balance and varied, the colors are bright yet moody and she truly captured all the emotions of the day. I think the best surprise (and maybe I shouldn’t say this) was that the photos were available within 2 days. I did not expect this but the joy of being able to extend the spirit of the weekend via the photos is truly a gift. I am so grateful Rebecca was our photographer—I highly recommend and will use her again when the opportunity presents itself!

Rebecca was not only really easy to work with, but she made my fiancé and I feel completely at ease and let us really have fun while she took photos. We laughed, posed, ran around for candids, had some high energy moments but some sweet, quiet ones too. She had planned the exact spots she wanted photos, which took a lot of stress off me. She also got photos of all the details and things I missed running around being hostess, which I was so thankful for!
The photos we got back from her are the most perfect captures of what was such a magical day. I’ve looked at them all at least 20 times over since November. I had a few guests comment that the photos made our day look like the “fairytale wedding” that it was, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you so much Rebecca!
We’re planning on moving more up north soon and would 100% have her do our family photos. :)

Where to start!? Rebecca was our lead photographer for our fall wedding last year and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. She was professional, had creative ideas and went over and beyond to make sure we were happy! Even before the big day she asked that we go over what I’m envisioning and she nailed it. Rebecca was literally a dream to work with. She immediately became my bff and complimented all of my work on everything I DIYed for my wedding. We have such similar style that I was so confident she would capture my day exactly how I would. From my sneak peaks I can confidently say she made my dream come true. Rebecca was fantastic to work with for our wedding. We originally were slated to get married in March but had to cancel last minute because of COVID and change our wedding to be outdoors in June - with logistics not being finalized to week of event. Couldn't be happier with our experience with Rebecca! For both our engagement photos and wedding photos, she made us feel comfortable and taken care of. That was highly important to us, especially since we typically do not take photos and have a tendency to be awkward in front of cameras. Rebecca was simply perfect- there is no other way to say it. We spoke on the phone a few days before our wedding, and she entirely got our vision. She arrived at our venue ahead of time to scout out locations for first look photos, as well as spaces for bridal party/family photos. She directed us through photos with humor, grace and ease. She was such a calming presence on what would otherwise be a stressful day. She moved us through our photos quickly, finding tons of nooks and crannies and delicious natural lighting throughout the Audubon nature preserve where we got married. She was a real person, who listened to our requests, accommodated us, and took breathtaking photos. From our sneak peak, we can't wait to see more. I could not recommend her enough!!!!!

Prior to the photoshoot, my husband and I had a great conversation with Rebecca over the phone already. She was very supportive of our agenda for outdoor shooting. We liked her personality and insights during the phone conversation, so we were looking forward to meeting her. On the wedding day, Rebecca efficiently helped us and the wedding party complete all the shots at the wedding venue, on Brooklyn Bridge (yes, 'on' the bridge), and in Central Park in about 4 hours, for a much shorter time than we had planned for. She was very quick but precise - she knew how to capture the exact moments. She made the daytime shoot before the wedding less stressful - and all of us appreciated that ease throughout the process.

We loved working with Rebecca! From the second we met her we knew we were in good hands. Generally, we aren't a couple that loves taking photos so I thought we would be very awkward in front of the camera but Rebecca helped us overcome our fear and loosen up. Our photos are fantastic! Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how beautiful the pictures are. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and all throughout the day. She was organized and ready to go the second she arrived. We had a brunch wedding so we were on a pretty tight schedule the morning of the wedding but Rebecca was ready to go and kept us on track with timing while taking photos. I really appreciated how communicative she was leading up to the wedding. I knew I had one less thing to stress about because she was so on top of everything. She captured every moment perfectly while at the same time I did not feel I was taking photos for hours on end. Additionally, our photos were sent to us so quickly after the wedding, which was amazing because I was so excited to see photos (as most couples are!). If you have the opportunity to book her for your wedding (or any other event) do it! She is the BEST!
