While we ended up having to go with another photographer due to some budget issues on our part, Crystal was wonderful and thoughtful through out the entire process.. She is a true professional!

I can't stress enough how great Crystal was to work with. From the beginning of the planning process, she was so responsive and really receptive to our vision. When picking a photographer, I didn't realize how important it would be to feel comfortable around them and how it can be a little awkward to pose in a way that feels natural. Working with her felt like working with a friend, which totally put us at ease. She will totally put in the work to get a great photo, which in our case meant taking 2 golf carts off the path so we could get the perfect shot. Not to mention, the photos are absolutely stunning - and we got a preview of them literally a few hours after the wedding! We spent the day after our wedding looking at the photos over and over again. Crystal is awesome and if you're looking for a photographer who will take your vision and run with it, she's a perfect choice!

As a vendor finding other vendors who have the same drive and passion for what they do is number one for us. Crystal was super sweet and easy to work with. As a planner/coordinator one of our biggest pieces is the timeline and Crystal made sure to take all of items into account, which made the day run super smooth!

Absolutely amazing experience- EXCEPTIONAL! Crystal was an absolute breath of fresh air. There’s always bound to be some unexpected changes on your wedding day (and that was true for ours as well) but Crystal was an absolute miracle. Not only did she provide exceptional photography skills, she helped other parts of the day go together and happen seamlessly. Everyone in the wedding party commented on her ability to envision the perfect photo! And they turned out better than I could have ever imagined! The photos are a dream. Thank you so much 💕

I cannot say enough amazing things about Crystal and AspenCoast Studio!! I spent a long time researching photographers and picked Crystal based on her great reviews and gorgeous photos - and I am SO grateful I did! She took the time to answer all of my (trillions) of questions, gave us outfit suggestions and amazingly detailed prep emails, and made my fiance and I feel SO comfortable during our engagement shoot (we honestly had FUN, which we were not expecting!) She has gone above and beyond for us time and time again, and we have truly had the best experience we could ask for. Not only is Crystal a fantastic person, but she is the most talented photographer I have ever seen!! She somehow made us look like models even though we are both pretty awkward and had never taken professional pictures before. Even though we don't consider ourselves romantic people, she was able to capture the sweetest moments and the whole thing felt magical. We wanted our pups included in our shoot, and she was SO good with them and helped us handle them all while snapping the most adorable pictures! As you can imagine, we were moving around the entire time (at a windy public beach) so I have no idea how she was able to get such great pictures! Most of my friends had a few photos they liked from their engagement shoots - I have over 200 favorites from mine! All of our family and friends have been blown away by how flawless every single picture is (I have no idea how she made us look SO GOOD!) Crystal's website is attractive and easy to use, and is simple to share your favorites list with friends and family. She was also able to get us our engagement previews and full gallery INCREDIBLY quickly! We are so grateful we chose Crystal and AspenCoast Studio, and can't wait for her to capture our wedding in October 2022!

My (now) husband and I were immediately drawn to the work that AspenCoast studio does after seeing their pictures. Crystal was great to work with to get things scheduled, but one of the best parts of our day was Courtney! She was a dream to work with for our engagement session and our wedding day. As a whole, Crystal and Courtney were very responsive and flexible. We requested to add an additional hour the week of our wedding, and they were able to accommodate. My family, friends, and even guests commented on how attentive, easy going, and fun Courtney was throughout our wedding day. I cannot recommend this team more highly!

If you’re looking for an amazing photographer, look no more! My fiancé and I had our engagement session done with Samantha in Colorado. And WOW are we so happy with her work. I have received endless compliments on how lost in the moment my fiancé and I look with the photos Samantha took. I have to thank her for really making us feel so comfortable. She is such a kind and sweet individual. Walking away from our session, my fiancé and I agreed we felt more like friends. We look forward to spending the day with her at our wedding and seeing another phenomenal job done!

Crystal and Alisha were great to work with. Both were incredibly accommodating when we had to cancel our wedding and elope. Crystal traveled to take our engagement pictures in Chicago and Alisha traveled to Telluride to photograph our elopement/intimate wedding. They gave good direction and helped ease the awkwardness that can occur when taking photos. The photos were beautiful and we loved working with them. Thank you both!

We have a wedding package with Crystal, my fiancé and I didn’t know what to expect at our engagement shoot we were nervous. She made us feel comfortable, and guided us all the way! We love our engagement photos, they exceeded our expectations!Can’t wait for our wedding day photos!

Crystal is a wonderful photographer! She did an engagement/wedding package for us. She was easy to work with and flexible. She did a good job at getting my crazy family organized for photos. I have so many wonderful photos from our wedding day and the website is easy to access and download our photos from. Definitely recommend her if you like her style of photography!

Danielle did a fabulous job for our engagement session! She was able to fill in for an ill colleague last minute, and we were so appreciative that she did! We are from Pittsburgh, but we are getting married in Colorado, so it was so special that we got to do our engagement photos at the beautiful Garden of the Gods park. Danielle caught some great, candid moments of us, and we love the photos she took.

Samantha did a wonderful job at our wedding! She let me know when she was on her way and took beautiful pictures the entire time without being intrusive. She had great ideas for photos that were less posed as well. Crystal was also very helpful and communicative through the process. I would absolutely use them again!

Crystal trekked through the snow and cold to take engagement photos with us today and I can’t say enough good things about her. Her creativity and enthusiasm eased any nerves and made our time together light hearted and fun. She has an eye for beauty and was willing to be uncomfortable for the perfect shot. We can’t wait to see what she’s able to capture on our wedding day !

Crystal has been totally amazeballs from start to finish. We had our engagement photos done by someone else before we found Aspen and Vine and we absolutely hated every one of them. This is not AT ALL the case with Crystal at Aspen and Vine. I literally sent probably 50 emails the weeks leading up to our engagement shoot with ideas and questions about wardrobe. She answered every single one of them, most of the time within less than an hour. She was sweet and didn’t make me feel like a crazy bridezilla! She chose a BEAUTIFUL park to take our photos after I explained what we were looking for. The entire session she made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to be ourselves! Having literally only having 1 photo shoot before in my life, I was nervous I would look awkward, or fat, or clueless. She put my mind at ease immediately. We received a sneak peek of our photos about a week after the shoot and our entire edited gallery just one week after that. And let me tell you, I wanted to cry I am so happy with them. We received 250 photos to choose from and I literally have favorited over 85 of them. I honestly am having to share my album with my closest friends to help me pick the ones to go in our photo book because I love so many of them! TO THE LADIES: I have a medication that makes me gain weight and quite honestly I ALWAYS feel like a cow, but Crystal got all of the good angles of me and I actually feel and look pretty in our photos. She was fun to work with, fun to talk to, and totally professional. I’m seriously soooo stoked to see what kind of shots she pulls off on our wedding day. If you haven’t found a photographer yet, Crystal is top notch and her prices are actually a lot lower than other photographers we considered. You can tell she loves LOVE! If you have read my rantings to this point, you should already know who to book for your engagement/wedding photos. Worth every penny! Thank you Crystal for making us feel special! I cannot begin to thank Crystal enough for all the wonderful work she did for our wedding several weeks ago. From the very beginning of the planning process, she made things so much easier for us, answering all of our questions and really making a point to get to know us to make our wedding photos a perfect reflection of us as a couple. As we planned our wedding with a short timeline from Europe/the East Coast, Crystal was so accommodating and helpful with making sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything. She was even able to schedule us for an engagement shoot the week of our wedding so that we wouldn't miss out on that part of the process. Not only is her photography some of the most beautiful work I've ever seen, but she also such a joy to work with. She made us feel comfortable and gave us great (and much needed) instruction on how to pose while looking natural and relaxed in order to have us look our best. She is fun, creative, positive, and detail-orientated, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and reliability. I've received so many compliments both from my wedding party and guests, who all thought she was wonderful. From only having seen previews of our engagement and wedding albums, I am already so thrilled with the stunning work she has done. Her photography looks like something out of a movie! I can't wait to see the rest of our photos, and to be able to share them with family and friends.

I got married almost 2 weeks ago and we are so happy we chose Aspen & Vine Studio to be a part of our big day. Crystal and her crew greeted us as soon as we got to the venue and they got right to work. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera but they had a way of making it easy and fun. We received our preview pictures back and they are amazing. I love the happiness and details that they were able to capture. We are excited to get the rest of the photos back and we will definitely work with Aspen & Vine Studio in the future.

Crystal from Aspen and Vine Photography is an amazing professional with genuine talent and passion. In advance of my wedding, she was extremely professional and organized and explained her methods in a way that made me feel confident that she had all the details covered. Crystal Burns recently took our engagement pictures and will be taking our wedding pictures this next May. I don't think I can explain how amazing she was in words! She was so personable and professional that my fiancé and I felt so comfortable while taking our pictures. Working with Crystal on our engagement photos was a great experience for us! We had the opportunity to discuss what we were hoping to capture in our session and Crystal scouted out a great location in the city for us - she was even able to get the shop owner to reserve the space exclusively for our shoot! We wanted to include our dog in some of the photos, who can be a handful at times, and Crystal did a great job including him in our photos, and even holding him while simultaneously photographing us! We received a preview of our session just a few days later, much quicker than we had expected. Crystal Burns was absolutely wonderful. Not only did she capture beautiful images of our wedding day, but she was so discreet, we barely noticed she was there. When she noticed the light was good or when a rainbow suddenly appeared in the sky, she quietly grabbed us and quickly snapped a few photos and then got us back before any of the guests noticed we were missing. On top of it we have a two year old daughter and Crystal did a great job brining her out of her shell and capturing her personality. We didn’t get the chance to meet Crystal before the wedding, because it was a destination wedding, but she was always available for questions via email or phone, and my favorite thing was she set up a private Pinterest page for us to share ideas so she could see the types of photos we were wanting. We love Crystal and would recommend her to anyone having a wedding in Colorado.

My husband and I just got married in Paonia, Colorado on my grandparents' orchard near the Rocky Mountains. Crystal was our amazing photographer for our perfect wedding and we could not have been happier with her professionalism, personable nature, and the way she seamlessly interacted with our family and friends. Crystal was so sweet and easy to work with! She was always quick to respond to any questions I had and was very up front about pricing and what was included in the package, which I loved! We were running a bit behind the day of the wedding and she was quick to accommodate, running back and forth between myself and my girls and Jeff and the guys! It was great that she gives herself extra time at the venue to get a feel for it without including that in your allotted hours! She captured some amazing shots and knew the right places to go to get the beautiful Colorado backgrounds! Crystal traveled through a raging snowstorm to photograph our wedding! Although we had to make some last-minute adjustments because of snowy weather, Crystal was accommodating and willing to make some slight changes to our time and location so that we could get some great photos in spite of the weather. We had multiple locations for photos during our two-day event and Crystal was right where we needed her to be at every turn. She took some beautiful images and we are grateful for her great work and flexibility during our event.

Crystal was a joy to work with! We had a unique situation and she was very accommodating and understanding of our individual situation, flexible and willing to work with us every step of the way for our wedding photography. Plus her photography is AMAZING and very high quality. Hard to find a photographer with her skills and still affordable. Would recommend her to anyone!

I can’t say enough good things about Crystal Burns Photography! From our very first consult to our day-of wedding… Crystal was accommodating and professional. We loved how bubby and friendly she was with everyone, it really helped to ease our wedding stress. She was very helpful with ideas, creating a timeline for us to have so we could stay on schedule with our long day and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. We got our event photos back through our website gallery she made and it is beautiful. There are moments she captured that we never knew she got and are beautiful and emotional to have. Let’s start from the beginning. Crystal met with my husband and I over a Skype consult because we live in another state having our wedding in Colorado. We are from California and our families live all over in different states. We wanted a Colorado event and she was so helpful throughout the photography planning process and really made us feel at ease. We had other quotes from photographers that did not list all fees up front. Crystal was very specific and detailed everything out for us to help us with the process. We ended up choosing an all-inclusive package with her that included travel time and products (all of this was clearly stated in our contract with her). Her professionalism was outstanding along with the package she offered us. At our wedding, she was so tentative to details and very helpful. At one point, one of my bridesmaids had left her floral arrangement at the church and she went back to get it for her because we were under a time crunch. At the reception, guests asked us if she was available to do their family portraits! We had a great time, we love our photos and we couldn’t have asked for a more professional photographer. Crystal Burns was very unprofessional and I would NEVER refer anyone to her. I signed a contract with Crystal that included an engagement session. When trying to set up the session, about 2 months later, she told me that there would be extra travel cost if she had to drive over 3 hours, even though the ad she sent me earlier that day for engagement sessions said "over 4 hours travel". She called me on the phone and we agreed that my fiance and I would travel up to a mountain area that was only 2.5 hours away from her studio. When I emailed her the location and dates, she told me again that she would have to charge me travel cost because it was over 2 hours and she raised the rate by $20 even though it was closer. I pointed out that she kept changing her stipulations, and asked for my booking deposit back, which per the contract was only non-refundable if I cancelled my wedding. She refused and then she sent me an invoice that charged me for every"consultation" that included the original quote she sent to my MOH, the first time she spoke to my MOH on the phone, and every time Crystal called me without my asking her to.. I also asked her for her business license and she refused. She was constantly talking over me on the phone, and when I would only communicate by email, she began to say that certain things were said on the phone, that were not ever said. Crystal Burns NEVER tried to make real amends and did not give me a refund. She still has my $500 deposit, and has done absolutely no work for it.

We were very worried hiring a photographer for our wedding because I have some very high standards. My friends have shared horror stories of not getting their wedding packages back in a reasonable amount of time for their weddings. This was not the case with Crystal’s work! We were amazed at her quality, price and how fast she worked for us. She promised us 2 weeks and she delivered! She really did great to listen and it made it me feel at ease. I am so glad we chose her studio for our wedding!
