About this vendor
Based in Salt Lake City, UT, Heritage Wedding Cakes is an award-winning wedding cake company boasting over 30 years of experience. They believe that just as no two couples are the same, no two cakes are, either.
Owner Cindy Crump and her team have designed, baked, assembled, and decorated over 17,000 cakes to date, and they're just getting started. They'll work with you to develop the cake that best suits your style and budget. From elegant to whimsical, rustic to romantic, Heritage Wedding Cakes can do it all.
The shape of the cakes, whether circular or square, as well as the number of tiers, can all be tailored to fit your preferences. The flavors of the sponge and the fillings, too, can be customized and even alternate on each tier. Maybe you're looking for a snickerdoodle base brimming with chocolate rum buttercream, holding up a layer of black cherry forest and fudge icing. Sitting atop it, the crowning layer, you might choose the decadent swirls of a marble cake overflowing with the caramel sweetness of dulce de leche. The decorations can reflect the overall theme of your wedding: from lifelike sugarcraft flowers and painterly fondant scenery to bright, whimsical color contrasts and palate strokes. Delivery and free cake stand rentals are the cherry on top of your experience. Let Cindy and her team at Heritage Wedding Cakes deliver the sweet treat you've always dreamed of.

THIS LADY MAKES HER CAKES FROM A BETTY CROCKER BOX!!!!!
I went in for a consultation and was directed to her workspace in the back because she didn't hear my arrival (we were a bi...
t early) so I walked in, and on the counter were three open Betty Crocker cake mix boxes. Looking back on the tasting it makes a lot of sense, she likely adds some additional things to get certain flavors, but the base is still the same exact thing I could make in my own kitchen at less than a quarter of the price! I was so disappointed to learn that, as she had been fairly helpful with my requests and ideas with the exception of her strangely shifting prices. Her unreasonable pricing varies depending on where you have your event as she has deals with some locations, though these prices are all different which I found odd. And the first sheet she gave me had one price for a two-tier, but the next paper had a much higher cost. I suggest looking elsewhere if you actually want a genuinely high-end cake.
The cake turned out exactly how I wanted it and we got many compliments on how good it tasted.
Our cake was gorgeous and it tasted just as good as it looked!

I don't like shortening in buttercream icing, so I asked Cindy to use something else. She made a cream cheese, butter, sugar icing that was to die for. I love cake (especially wedding cakes) and have a high standard. I was impressed and very happy with Heritage Wedding Cakes and would happily recommend them. You can find her information on facebook.

Once we had the cake tasting, I knew I had made a great decision! The four small cakes we tried were extremely moist and delicious. The hardest decision about the wedding cake was choosing between the many different flavors.
On the wedding day, when Heritage Wedding Cakes arrived with my cake I was blown away. It was beautiful. It wasn't just like the picture, it was better! I have never seen such smooth buttercream frosting, and the intricate details looked amazing. They even stayed a little longer to put the extra wedding flowers on the cake.
Gorgeous cakes!
