You can say I have been around weddings all of my life in almost every capacity imaginable. From witnessing my Grandfather marrying countless couples, serving in ceremonies as an altar boy, working in the kitchen, hosting, waitering, bartending and planning for various banquet halls, catering companies and exclusive country clubs through college and beyond. To now marrying my wife who is a professional photographer who owns the award winning A Storybook Image photography and videography. I have seen it all from every angle and I have learned what couples want and appreciate the most to make this the most magical day in their new life together. Herm is the BEST. Look no further, and book him as your officiant today! My husband Dan and I were blessed to have Herm officiate our wedding. We made the decision to elope to New York City in February and originally planned to wed at City Hall. However, after collaborating with our photographer, Rachel Olivera of A Storybook Image, we all decided it would be way cooler to tie the knot at Bethesda Fountain in Central Park! That meant we needed to book an officiant. We weren’t sure where to start or what we needed to do regarding permits or even how to find someone able to marry us outdoors in NYC. Thankfully, Rachel’s husband Herm is an officiant! He was available and able! He made the process super simple, walking us through writing our vows, organizing the ceremony, and ensuring everything was taken care of from a permit standpoint. Because Herm had taken the time to get to know us, it made the ceremony that much more special and personalized. He is very genuine and kind, and has a true love for people which shows in his work. He did a fantastic job! We can’t thank him, Rachel, and A Storybook Image enough. We love them so much and are happy to call them our friends! <3 Thank you for making our day so unique and special.

I can't express enough gratitude for Herman in officiating our wedding. He made the process so easy! Before talking to Herman we didn't even know where to begin! He had great tips on developing a flow for the wedding ceremony and gave wonderful advice on how to write our own vows (which felt like it was going to be a daunting task but Herman made it feel effortless). During the reception we received countless compliments on how lovely our ceremony was. Thank you Herman for making our ceremony so special!

Herman exceeded our expectations he did everything we asked for and I couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony. He helped and guided us with our vows we had no idea what to write how to say them or what to say! And he helped tremendously with that! Herman Olivera did an amazing job at our wedding. My husband and I were clueless about what we were doing, and we needed all the help we could get. Herman met with us before the wedding. He calmed us down and made us laugh. We asked his opinion on some things which we weren't sure of, and he openly gave us advice (which I very much appreciated!). He also brought a book of wedding ceremony scripts so we could decide what we wanted him to say. In the end, we had him read the story of how my husband and I met, and because my husband is from Spain, he also said some words in Spanish! I can't say enough wonderful things about Herman. He is professional, punctual, and a good person to have around during such a stressful time. We were very fortunate to have him officiate our wedding.
