. However, after collaborating with our photographer, Rachel Olivera of A Storybook Image, we all decided it would be way cooler to tie the knot at Bethesda Fountain in Central Park! That meant we needed to book an officiant. We weren’t sure where to start or what we needed to do regarding permits or even how to find someone able to marry us outdoors in NYC. Thankfully, Rachel’s husband Herm is an officiant! He was available and able! He made the process super simple, walking us through writing our vows, organizing the ceremony, and ensuring everything was taken care of from a permit standpoint. Because Herm had taken the time to get to know us, it made the ceremony that much more special and personalized. He is very genuine and kind, and has a true love for people which shows in his work. He did a fantastic job! We can’t thank him, Rachel, and A Storybook Image enough. We love them so much and are happy to call them our friends! <3 Thank you for making our day so unique and special.

He also brought a book of wedding ceremony scripts so we could decide what we wanted him to say. In the end, we had him read the story of how my husband and I met, and because my husband is from Spain, he also said some words in Spanish! I can't say enough wonderful things about Herman. He is professional, punctual, and a good person to have around during such a stressful time. We were very fortunate to have him officiate our wedding.
