Hermitage Farm

Hermitage Farm was our DREAM wedding venue. It was stunning in the Fall, and our guests are still talking about how magical it was. There were so many special details and parts about the day and leading up to it - the wonderful tasting selecting our wedding menu, the beautiful glasses and dinnerware, the horses on the property, the Main House to get ready in, and the stunning backdrop the venue provided every minute of our wedding day. We had our ceremony outside the Main House, the cocktail hour at the Greenhouse, and the reception in the Hayloft. Each space was magical in its own way. Curtis was simply fantastic. So patient with all my many questions during the planning process and there every step of the way of the day of the event. The food from Barn8 was beyond our wildest dreams and something we will not soon forget. It was just perfection. I cannot recognize Hermitage Farm enough for their stunning space and exceptional service!

We LOVED having Hermitage as our home for the weekend. The property is beautiful and it was so special to have the whole place to ourselves with our families. Ashleigh went above and beyond to make sure we had all of the help in the world as we planned our KY wedding from NYC and truly made our lives so much easier. Hermitage Farm is absolutely stunning! The gorgeous main house is the focal point of the event grounds, surrounded by mature trees, charming details, expansive horse paddocks, and ultimate privacy. We wanted a DIY wedding (choosing our own decor, caterers, bar service, etc) on a big beautiful piece of land that would also allow us to do something a little unique - have all food cooked over open flame. It was very challenging finding a place to allow this. Ashleigh with Hermitage was an absolute dream to work with! She made sure the grounds crew was aware of our plans, accommodated for everything we needed, and was readily available for questions and site visits throughout the whole process. The other huge selling point for us was the fact that Hermitage is a weekend rental! We were able to have our entire immediate family stay with us on the property from Fri-Sun in the gorgeous house, containing an impressive collection of modern art. Rehearsal dinner, getting ready on the wedding day, Sunday brunch, etc all took place at Hermitage, making it a breeze to enjoy time together instead of fussing over transportation and coordination. We were able to have access to the grounds and the storage garage the week prior, so we could begin our decor preparations. This is super unique in the industry - you won’t find flexibility and hospitality like this anywhere else. It’s very much worth the price, but be aware that when I say DIY - I mean it. Tables, chairs, lighting, restrooms trailers, valet, service staff, facility fees, etc. It adds up - but if you have the budget, you won’t be disappointed. Every little detail was taken care of and accommodated for. Hermitage was honestly a dream come true venue for us! Absolutely breathtaking.
