Angie is AMAZING!!! I came to Herrera custom bridal for alterations and a custom veil. Angie took the time to go over every detail about my dress and the vision I had for my veil. I found it to be very comforting because you can see she takes pride in her work. When making my custom veil she suggested taking a piece from my mother's old veil, it came out absolutely perfect. When I put my dress on for my wedding day I have never felt more beautiful and I owe it to Herrera Custom Bridal! You will not be disappointed!!

I had heard many horror stories from friends about altering their wedding dress so I was definitely nervous going in. Angie was absolutely amazing though! She is very detail oriented, always punctual, and gained my trust immediately. Her prices are more than fair and she worked with us to create some custom garters from my grandmother’s veil and a sheer modesty panel for my strapless dress. I was referred to Herrera Custom Bridal by my cousin for alterations for my wedding dress and it was the best decision I ever made! Angie is the sweetest and patient, I live out of state so she was able to work fast! Angie is amazing. She is super sweet, professional, and experienced. Her prices were fair and much better than the bigger alteration shops. She also does custom designs! I brought her my wedding dress that was two sizes too big and she completely transformed my dress to fit me perfectly. I had a beaded bodice that she took in significantly without compromising the design of the dress. She added a bustle. She also added a custom illusion neckline with button closures down the back which turned out beautiful. She altered one of my bridesmaids dresses as well, which fit like a glove. She does fantastic work and I highly recommend her!

I needed my hem trimmed, a bustle, and a belt added to my dress. Angie delivered just that! She didn’t try to add more things to my invoice and she was super affordable! She did a really good job with my dress I have no complaints. You can trust her with your wedding dress any day!

I was recommend by my sister in laws mother. I had the BEST experience! I wanted to incorporate my mother’s wedding dress somehow and Angie made a custom veil for me to wear with the lace from the dress. Mind you the dress was well over 30 years old but preserved! From beginning to end, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience! In August of 2017 I had my first consultation with an amazing custom bridal designer, Angie Montero of Herrera Custom Bridals, to begin the process of creating my wedding dress. She worked with me over the next nine months to design and fabricate the most special article of clothing I’ll ever wear, and she knocked it out of the park! Our wedding was 6 months ago, but I decided to have a post-wedding bridal photo session a couple of weeks ago. I was a little hesitant to put my dress on again because my shape has changed slightly (bye-bye 20lbs!), but it still fit me like a glove due to Angie’s magical seamstress abilities (aka “a corset back”) and made me feel just as beautiful as I did when I caught my husband’s reaction the moment he saw me in the dress for the first time. That memory will live in my heart, and hang in my closet 😉, forevermore.

My experience with Angie is beyond any words I could think up to convince you. I met her by chance and when I got engaged I remembered her card and thought I’d reach out. SO glad I did! Everything was perfect and there was never a moment that I stressed about her finishing on time or her not understanding my vision I had in mind! She had me come to her studio for my consultation and after about 30 mins of discussing what I wanted vs what I could do with my grandma’s dress, she had a road map for every apt and what got completed by those appointments. Angie exceeded my expectations with my alterations and adding the perfect details to my wedding dress. She also made my 16 foot veil, were she hand stiched lace from my mothers wedding dress onto my veil. Thankful for her time and dedication to make bring my vision to life. She’s the best!

I am so glad my co-worker referred me to Angie. From the first phone call to they day I picked up my altered dress, she was always so sweet. She made me feel like I had known her for a long time. Made me feel comfortable. I came in with a dress that was very BIG on me. She made that dress fit like a glove, even with a baby in the oven. She knows how to work a miracle on your dress. I loved getting my dress altered by Herrera Custom Bridal. I didn't have that much time to alter my dress before my wedding and I had talked to another tailor that told me I didn't have time. She on the other hand got everything that I wanted done! She also did some incredible stitching to fix some parts of my dress that I hadn't noticed and made my dress fit me perfectly. She was patient with me and would check before she made any of the alterations final to make sure I liked them. She was kind and personable and really seemed to care about me. She also had my invite one of my maids of honor to learn how to bustle my dress. Honestly she was incredible and I'm so thankful I used her for my wedding day!!

I honestly love and appreciate Angie's work and talent for dress making and alterations. For brides or anyone with a special occasion dress should meet with Angie. My daughter's prom dress was too big and she altered the dress perfectly. Along with making scheduling easy for fittings, she was always on time and she is so sweet!
