The best dj/MC ever!!! Hesson entertainment helped me organize the entire reception and it was easy to do with their website. The DJ also served as the MC and this took a TON of pressure off of us as a couple. He kept everything flowing throughout the night and the music was great!!! I cannot recommend Hesson Entertainment enough!

Michael did such an amazing job! There were people constantly on the dance floor all night. He played great music and I received many compliments on how well he did as our DJ! He even took the extra time to create a special mix for my father/ daughter dance (which everyone loved). Thank you so much Michael for making our night so fun!

We were so lucky to get to have Mike as our DJ at our wedding! He was so awesome and amazing to work with! We gave him a list of songs and he did such an awesome job at making our playlist really come together to get all our guests on the dance floor. People kept telling us how great our DJ was and how much fun they had the whole night from the ceremony music, to the cocktail and dinner music and then the reception music. We couldn’t have done it without him! Mike also brought in some great uplighting and lights to really give our wedding the perfect touch. Highly recommend! Such a pleasure to work with and so organized and on top of everything we needed for the big day. Can’t thank him enough!

We were lucky enough to select Hesson Entertainment for our daughter's wedding. Michael Hesson (the owner) was a dream to work with. He is super responsive, professional and knowledgeable! We had DJ Chazon as our DJ for the wedding. He was awesome. From the minute he started playing dancing music after dinner, the dance floor was filled for the entire evening with guests of all ages! One song after another was fun and danceable. DJ Chazon was great at reading the crowd, and knowing what would appeal to them. We had such a great time, and had so many positive comments from our guests. Such a fun evening!

We used Hesson Entertainment for our wedding and had such an amazing experience! David was our DJ and Ray was in charge of the Photo Booth! David was able to keep the guests laughing, entertained and followed the script perfectly! During the planning process we were able to input all the specialty music we wanted to use, including specific mixes and parts of songs. They were able to provide mics for our family members that gave speeches and uplighting for the reception that looked amazing in pictures! Ray emailed us a copy of all the photo booth pictures the day after we got married! We were so impressed with them and highly recommend to others!

I was a VERY happy bride on my wedding day thanks to both Michael, the owner, and David, our DJ. As a bit of a music snob, finding a DJ who would be the right fit was very important to me, and I did quite a bit of shopping around before hiring Hesson Entertainment. Leading up to the wedding, Michael was extremely available for any questions. The client portal website made me feel assured that my favorite songs would play and my least favorites would be avoided -- there is a category for "must play," "play only if requested," "do not play," and "play if possible," in addition to all of the special songs like first dance and cake cutting. But the real star of the show was our DJ, David. He had exactly the personable yet chill vibe we were going for, and kept all of our friends and family scream singing and dancing all night long. I figured we were in good hands when he complimented my taste in music a few days before the wedding, but I knew we hit the jackpot when he got on the floor to teach our guests the Wobble and when he foresaw the exact moment of "Burning Down the House" we'd envisioned for our grand entrance. What a dude. Thank you both, David and Michael!

Working with Michael Hesson of Hesson Entertainment and his DJ Tony Contino was a great choice for our wedding reception! The interface for their song request and playlist website was easy to use, and both Michael and Tony kept in contact with us weeks before the event, to make sure everything was going to plan. We wanted to play music that we enjoy, and it was not conventional wedding music. We enjoyed the best of both of our musical worlds and songs that meant a lot to our guests. We also had a nice mix of dance songs to enjoy some dancefloor moments. Being that our wedding was small and intimate, same with the reception, we really enjoyed the dedications and special songs. Also enjoyed our red up lighting! Thanks for providing the musical memories for our special night.

By far, our best vendor of the day! David was awesome and we got so many compliments about the music all night. 10/10 recommend! :)

We had several calls with Mike the owner to chat about what we liked and wanted in a DJ. He picked one that felt fit best and he did not disappoint. David was OUTSTANDING. We had an hour long FaceTime the week of the wedding to chat about our taste in music, our crowd, and etc. He was very professional but also felt like part of our party during the entire night. He played every one requested, every song I picked, and even came on the dance floor to dance. David made our wedding night perfect.

Our guests keep raving that our wedding was "the most fun wedding ever," and I think DJ Chazon and Hesson Entertainment are entirely to thank for that! We hired them to provide the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all of which were in different locations, but they had no trouble with that! Michael was very communicative and easy to work with in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, and made sure to take the time to talk to us to find out exactly what we were looking for. Our wedding was originally planned for May 2020 but was postponed a year due to COVID, and they were super flexible with rescheduling. DJ Chazon was wonderful to work with the day of the wedding. He was on time, well prepared, and communicated with us to make sure he had everything straight before the reception. He was a great emcee, but most importantly, his music choices were fabulous, not a single dud song. He took what we had suggested in our planning portal and supplemented them well. Virtually all of our guests (who ranged in age from 13-83) were on the dance floor the entire night, which is practically unheard of at a wedding! He played a little something for everyone so everyone had a good time. Can't recommend them highly enough!

We used Hesson entertainment for our wedding and they did a fantastic job. Michael was extremely responsive in the lead up to our event, and Tony did an incredible job day of - we were able to input songs we wanted on their software and then he expertly riffed off of those to make a great party. Hire DJ Chazon!! We had a great experience working with Hesson Entertainment. Chazon was one of the first DJs we interviewed and he set the bar for the level of experience and professionalism in our search. Their online portal for sharing the timeline and song requests made planning music very simple, and the manager, Michael, called us the week of the wedding to finalize our selections and offer advice. DJ Chazon did an impeccable job the day of, striking the perfect balance we wanted between pumping the crowd up and letting the party flow naturally. He played the songs we requested and gave a good mix of similar genres of music. He also handled our traditional dollar dance with ease and was very gracious to our guests. We got many compliments on our wonderful DJ!

Michael Hesson was a great DJ and we are so happy we had him preside over the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. While our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception took place in the same venue, each portion of our wedding day took place in different rooms, making it potentially difficult to set up the necessary equipment for music. This was not a problem for Mr. Hesson. The music throughout the day seemed seamless and provided the right atmosphere for our guests to relax and enjoy themselves. Our Sunday morning brunch reception posed a challenge in terms of getting people in the mood to dance, but if anyone can do it, it's Mike Hesson. Even my dad danced and he hates dancing! Speaking of my dad, when my parents couldn't figure out how to request songs on Mike's website (a feature we loved - guests can request songs for your wedding using a link to the website and you can go in and edit, as needed), my parents called Mr. Hesson and he walked them through how to do it. We appreciated his kindness and communication so much. We would recommend Hesson Entertainment for anyone looking for a DJ and we are so grateful he was ours.

Mike was very flexible and worked with us to make sure we had all the music we wanted for our wedding. He also did a great job with our uplighting and GOBO. We would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Hesson Entertainment was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding! From the first conversation we had on the phone, Mike made us feel confident and at ease. For the quality of service and value, it would be hard to find anyone close to what Hesson Entertainment offered us! Mike kept our guests and ourselves on the dance floor all night long, hit a large number of our (extensive) must-play list, and made it so easy for us to enjoy our day without having to stress about anything entertainment related! Michael recently was the D.J. at our wedding. We cannot say enough accolades for how wonderful he was. Before our wedding day, he touched base with us more than once. He was so friendly and personable on the phone that we knew he was going to be great from the start. He was honest with his suggestions for what would be best for our venue which we really appreciated. Our goal was to have everyone on the dance floor the entire time. At the wedding, everyone was out of there seats dancing and having a great time! Dinner was quick and no one left the dance flor the entire time!! Did I forget to mention that I had messed up the order we wanted our groomsmen and bridesmaids to enter the reception ? Moments before we made out entrance he fixed my mistake and it went smoothly. Like nothing ever happened! He graciously took guest suggestions (Greek music included). He has a fantastic M.C. voice and had the crowd smiling ear to ear the entire time! His comments between the events were witty and the guests told me during and afterwards how much they enjoyed him. My husband and I are so thankful we chose this company for our D.J. We highly suggest Hesson Entertainment for your D.J.!

We booked Hesson Entertainment after our original DJ fell through three months before our wedding. After a quick panic, I reached out to multiple people including my photographer, wedding coordinator and a friend who is a wedding planner for DJ recommendations and they all recommended Hesson Entertainment. I emailed Mike and he responded quickly and I knew he would be a perfect choice. From the first email to the final call with our DJ, David the process was so easy and stress free. They offer an online music dashboard which made the process for picking songs even easier. Our DJ, David was amazing, he made the whole night fun, keep everyone on the dance floor and ran the reception on schedule. I also added pink up lights which made the venue feel romantic and fairy tale like. I highly recommend Hesson Entertainment for your wedding!

Michael was a true professional every step of the way. He was organized, easy to speak to you, and had a calm presence about him. I can't tell you how many guests came up to saying he was the best DJ. He knew how to read our crowd which was difficult because the older guests wanted mo-town and the younger crowd wanted "booty shaking music". He kept the wedding on track and even pronounced all of our very unique wedding party names. He got the crowds moving from each room as we had a separate ballroom and dance floor room. I did not leave the dance floor all night thanks to Michael. The lighting was amazing and reasonable. I highly recommend.

Mike was everything I hoped for and more in a DJ/MC!!! Our ceremony, dinner and reception were perfectly timed, the mood was set with excellent music selections and well timed reminders so that we stayed on schedule throughout the evening. I cannot say enough good things. Mike’s professional consultation through the planning phase was remarkable, he was friendly and responsive. The planning tools on his website were easy to use and Mike’s intuition for the flow of the party and what would keep the group in the groove were outstanding. I only wished the party could have gone on longer!

Bottom line: would definitely recommend this company. Great people and helped run a very efficient wedding. We ended up booking close to the date of the wedding as everything was done on a shorter than normal timetable. Michael Hesson was quick to respond. He was courteous and flexible. Michael was the DJ for our wedding. They have a great online portal to set up the songs you want for each event at the wedding. There was a section to specify the genre of music liked and disliked. A couple days prior to the wedding Michael called to discuss the in/outs of the wedding. We were able to plan the whole timeline and what was important for us.

A couple of weeks before the wedding, we went through all the details of the reception/ceremony and he had thought of everything. We were able to have a phone call chat with him prior to booking Hesson Entertainment, so we knew who our DJ would be months in advance. Our guests loved him, and we’ve received many post-wedding compliments about our DJ. David arrived early, was adaptable in our venue space, and flexible with some venue noise restrictions that we had forgotten about. Highly recommend!

Michael and his team were outstanding! We worked with Michael through the planning process and then were connected with Chazon who ran our event the day of! We had meet Chazon at our friends wedding a year before and loved his style! The night flowed perfectly, he adapted quickly to music request and really set the mood for the entire event. We had 5 or 6 songs just for people to walk down the aisle to and the transitions were perfect! We had the ability to enter "must have" musical selections as well as a list of those songs we didn't want to have played at the wedding. They customized each part of the day from the ceremony, the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing!

Hesson Entertainment did a phonomal job at our wedding! Everything that was played was perfect. Michael kept the crowd energized, communicated clearly, was easy to understand, was fun and friendly, and was professional. We had beautifully placed uplights, a very fun Photo Booth, and high quality sound for the entire night. Everyone could hear our officiant during our ceremony and everyone could hear the toasts during the reception. Michael did a great job keeping our reception flowing on time and made sure guests knew exactly what was going on. We are thrilled that Hesson Entertainment was a part of our big day! Everything was perfect and we had so much fun on the dance floor!

DJ kept the wedding reception upbeat. I danced so much that my feet hurt (only noticed 2 hours after!). Great music and uplighting made me not want to leave my own wedding.

Hesson Entertainment was a great DJ service for our wedding at Bristow Manor. They know the venue well, and were so reassuring in all our communications, that it took so much extra stress off our plates. Hesson has a great planning tool online where we could schedule out the night, add songs to playlists or "do not play"-lists, let our wedding guests log on to leave song requests, and more. Our DJ for the day was Dave P., and he was AWESOME. We had planning calls with both him and Mike Hesson the few weeks before the wedding to get everything straightened out, and everyone was very responsive to emails. We're still hearing back from our guests that the music was great! Everything was set up on time for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, he MC'd the night perfectly, and the dance floor lights and uplighting for our reception were absolutely perfect. So glad we booked with Hesson for our day!

Michael was an amazing DJ for our wedding! He knew exactly what to play to keep people on the dance floor and had a Playlist that was spot on with my tastes. He was a fabulous Emcee, keeping things moving but also being flexible. I can't even count the number of guests who came up to me saying how awesome the DJ was! Hesson did a great job with our January wedding! Michael responded so quickly to emails, and they provided the DJ, photo booth (which everyone loved) and ceremony sound. The only hiccup was when the DJ was changed 6 days before the wedding, but the new DJ (Chazon) ended up doing a great job. We wanted someone not too over-the-top, but I think they can provide whatever vibe you are looking for in a DJ/ MC.

Provided great music and energy for our event. Lighting and photobooth were also done well. Timeliness and accuracy of responses varied throughout planning process, but overall pulled off a great event when it came down to it!

Hesson Entertainment was great! We had been to weddings where the DJ was subpar so having a good DJ was important to us. Mike Hesson (the owner) was professional throughout the whole process – he met with us in person to go over what we were looking for in a DJ and to give us a background on his company and the DJ’s he has under him. We were able to have a call with David, our potential DJ, before booking. It definitely put us at ease and made our decision of picking Hesson Entertainment an easy one. Leading up to the wedding, the online portal was a great way to add songs that we wanted played at the reception, and David called us 2 weeks before to organize everything. The day of the wedding ended up being one of the hottest days of the summer, and David was there around 2 pm working his tail off in the heat, setting everything up inside and outside. Everything went smoothly! David worked well with our other vendors, and once we opened the dance floor he kept the party going until they kicked us out! We highly recommend David and Hesson Entertainment – a very professional company and David exceeded our expectations as a DJ. He wasn’t overbearing on the microphone and he did a wonderful job controlling the reception (dinner, speeches, cake cutting, and dancing). We received so many compliments on how fun our wedding was! Oh and one thing that stood out…we put a couple of songs in the online portal that were special to us and we wanted to hear at dinner. We ended up going outside during most of the dinner to take pictures, and when we went back in David had waited to play those special songs so we could listen to them while we ate. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if we missed the songs, but it’s just something small that shows that he cared so it meant a lot.

I cannot even begin to say enough nice things about Hesson Entertainment. We heard of them through a friend and are so glad that we picked them to be the DJ at our wedding. They were professional, made our job super easy and kept people dancing all night! They went above and beyond to help create such a magical experience.

Going with Hesson Entertainment was the best choice we ever could have made! Our DJ Craig was perfect, the guests absolutely loved him. He was interactive enough to get guests dancing and out of their seats but not so over bearing that he stole the show or bordered on obnoxious. He and Mike were a breeze to work with, incredibly patient and helpful and easy to reach when we needed to. Guests still talk about how much they loved DJ Craig!

David was amazing! We had a lot of cultural things in the mix and he orchestrated it perfectly. Our reception flowed very smoothly, and everyone kept saying it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended!

We went to one of the Bridal shows and met with some of the DJs from Hesson Entertainment. My now husband saw them and was very impressed with their lighting. We decided to go ahead and contact Michael at Hesson entertainment and he did not hesitate to reach out to us and set up an appointment. He was very flexible and met up with us at our reception venue. to walk us through how he would set up the lights and the DJ both The ease in which he walked us through the music process and how he would set up the venue is the reason we chose him. With his vision of our venue, we didn't even bother meeting with a different vendor. We were very happy with our decision. Michael gave us access to a website that was easy to use to pick our most important songs. He even met up with me 2 weeks before the wedding to go through the timeline and that was very useful for a stressful bride. He introduced us to our DJ, Craig, was was wonderful. We heard great things about Craig and would definitely recommend him for any events. He had people constantly on the dance floor. There was never a moment where the dance floor was empty. My bridesmaids raved about him, they had so much fun with the music! We definitely loved having them!

Perfect!! Everyone danced all night. I could not be happier with Mike Hesson and his employee Dave who DJ'ed our wedding. The client website was easy to navigate. Mike himself was very nice and professional. Meeting with him was flexible and he was so prepared for all of our questions and requests. Dave called us the week of the wedding to get his own feel for what we need and want. He was very professional and was not interjecting his persona into our wedding which I know a lot of people are afraid of. He read the crowd and played to what generations were on the dance floor. I loved working with Michael Hesson of Hesson Entertainment. One of the main reasons we choose to work with Hesson Entertainment is because we felt they perfectly mixed our desire for professionalism and affordability. He met with us personally twice before the event, once to meet for the first time, and the second was closer to the event to plan our music. He was incredibly helpful and our event went marvelously. He mixed contemporary music and music that would cater to our parents generation seamlessly, and we really felt that he wanted the event to match who we were. Additionally, he did the sound for our ceremony, and did up-lighting for our reception which really added a nice pop to our indoor space.
