was doing. she had no cake design examples aside from pics on her phone that took 5 min to find. we were rushed through the actual tasting of the cakes. when the owner presented us a rough quote she had hand written she told us to take a picture of it, she had no copy for us to take and no email. she seemed hostile when we said we went ready to put a deposit down and lastly charged us 20$ for the tasting which had probably added up to about 2 cupcakes worth. my fiancee and I agree that this was the most unpleasant wedding prep things we have done so far.

ste worth remembering. Something that would be a complimentary signature to our lakeside wedding in Lake Lure. Cupcakes are my favorite food and a very important part of our wedding! On a destination wedding planning trip back in March we stopped in to taste Hey Hey's offerings and fell in love. With all of them. Our kids helped us narrow our selection to the Bonita Margarita (their famous and unexpected favorite), a vanilla salted caramel and a chocolate/baileys/cappuccino. Our guests raved about these cupcakes and huddled around the display after we announced they were finally allowed to grab one. Most snuck multiple. We ate the left overs for days after and they were still amazing! The girls at Hey Hey are so easy to work with. We couldn't be more grateful for their expertise, kindness and passion for cupcakes! Everything we hoped for and more was delivered with these cupcakes. Thank you for making this such an enjoyable experience for us. Wedding planning can be stressful and this was just plain fun.

We tasted their miraculous margarita cake and knew they were the ones. We went with a small three tier wedding cake as well as 100 assorted cupcakes.
They were a HUGE hit with our guests, and just wonderful people to work with. When we met up to talk about our vision, I told them how much I had liked several of their cakes on display with some burlap and different textures of frosting. And that was it! Fast forward to our wedding day when they made the display look magazine worthy.
I HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE doing an Asheville wedding. I think that their cake is better than the other bakeries in Asheville and they were open to delivering the cake anywhere outside of Black Mountain!

fiance' for his birthday... over a 3 day span they were still amazing. They completed our 3 tier cake complete with sugar flowers in the shape of perfect dogwood flowers and I got 48 cupcakes to go with the fruit. We were lucky we still had our top layer of cake. Everyone was amazed with how good the cake and cupcakes were. We loved their service and quality, and plan to go back many times for cupcakes in the future.
