His equipment was top-notch, featuring LCD TVs and a portable themed Photo Booth that printed out charming sets of three pictures, adding a personalized touch to our wedding. Brandon's attention to detail and dedication to making our special day exceptional was evident with beautiful uplighting during the ceremony. Later the same uplighting transformed into vivid colors that were fading, cycling, and strobing when appropriate with the music and seemed to never miss a beat. We couldn't have asked for a more professional, accommodating, and talented DJ. Thanks to Brandon, our wedding was a music-filled, joyful, unforgettable celebration that will be cherished forever." Hey Mr. DJ did a wonderful job for our September 9, 2023 wedding. The venue was outside and everything sounded fantastic. Our DJ did a great job adding fun elements to the reception and playing popular Brazilian music for the bride's large brazilian family.

They really took time to get to know you and what you wanted for your wedding. Day of Brandon really took the lead at the reception to work with us and all of the vendors to keep everyone on the same page and thing moving the way we wanted. We heard multiple good reviews prior to booking and they definitely lived up to their reputation.

Brandon from Hey Mr DJ was awesome. He took our music taste and created the perfect playlist. He also respected the songs on our 'do not play' list, even when some guests were very persistent. His DJ booth had a screen that played the music videos during the reception, which was a big hit! We are extremely glad we chose him for our special day.

Honestly they killed it. They say that the DJ makes the reception and they weren't kidding. This is the only DJ I will recommend to anyone looking for a DJ who can make your reception stand out. They provided a ton of ideas we could use during the reception and did a great job with managing the time and making sure all of our guests were having a great time.

I would 12/10 recommend having hey mr DJ play at your wedding or any event for that matter. They made everything super easy and I got everything I’ve ever wanted when it came to music and my wedding! Seth kept the party going while understanding how to bring in Danish traditions! We had a mixed wedding with half of the guests coming in from Denmark, and half that were Americans. Although we initially hired Brandon, something came up and his son Seth stepped in and was amazing to work with as well. He really worked with us to understand how to bring in the Danish songs and traditions. He kept the entire evening right on schedule, and many guests came to us and said what a great MC he was to keep the event flowing without being pushy. After dinner the party went on and on and on. It was incredible. They were very responsive, and had a great online platform for helping organize song selections. They also sent a list of some of the best things they have seen over the years, some of which we incorporated and were a hit. Highly recommend Hey Mr. DJ for your wedding!

I knew from the very first Zoom call with Brandon that Hey! Mr. DJ was the service we would go with. Brent was the DJ/emcee for our wedding. The first question he asked was "What do you want people to say about your wedding when the night is over?" Our response, "That it was laid back and a lot of fun!" Hey may be young, but Brent took control of coordinating with the other vendors to making sure I (the bride) was relaxed and kept the entire night running seamlessly. People were dancing until the very last song, and might I add... he's quite good at mixing those songs too! Thanks Brent for making our vision of a cool, casual, and fun wedding night come true!

Brandon came highly recommended and we couldn’t have been happier with his services at our wedding! From the consultation to the planning call to the wedding, he was responsive, helpful with ideas, and really dug in to find out what exactly we wanted at our reception. Seth was our DJ for our wedding and made sure that every detail was perfect for our big day! From the initial phone call meeting to day-of check-ins throughout the event, HeyMrDJ did a wonderful job to make sure that our event was smooth and FUN! My husband never left the dance floor, and the music transitions were amazing. They played music that everyone could dance to, all night long, and did a fantastic job emcee'ing our event. The personalized touches that they helped us orchestrate made our wedding truly one of a kind!

Cannot recommend Hey Mr. DJ! Enough!!!! They excelled at every single thing that mattered to us: communication, equipment, professionalism, personality, price….on and on!!! They spent quality time planning with us and delivered everything we needed! Our guests begged us to keep the party going for one more hour. Is there a higher compliment than that? I don’t think so!! We needed three different equipment set ups…outdoor wedding site, indoor reception, outdoor dance floor. They have the equipment, lighting and expertise. Hey Mr DJ group is the BOMB. I've been to many weddings and they are BY FAR the best DJ I've seen. We heard them at another wedding and knew we wanted them for ours! They really run the show and kept things moving, but not rushed! Brandon is the coolest emcee and has such fun ideas that are different! He really tries to get a vibe from you of what you want your wedding to be like by asking you a bunch of questions and meeting with you. There were so many guests that never left the dance floor except to get a drink! We would DEFINITELY recommend them!

Hey! MR DJ was absolutely amazing to work with. Zach, our Mc really knows how to throw a party. The planning process was seamless with them and made us feel totally confident the entire reception. The photo booth is also a must addition for any weddings. Guests were able to sign the photos they took which provided a great keepsake for my husband and I. They were definitely one of my favorite vendors to work with.

We knew Hey! Mr. DJ embodied everything we were looking for in a DJ the day we met with Brandon. He is very personable and fun to work with. He loves helping to create a unique event and was happy to incorporate our dinosaur-theme into releasing guests to the dinner buffet. Most importantly, Brandon (and his assistant) did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor alive. I received several compliments about the great music he played and how well each song transitioned into the next. He was clear and easy to understand the whole night which was something we were looking for to accommodate our guests who are hard at hearing. Also, we were very appreciative that he agreed to provide microphones and speakers for our outdoor wedding ceremony at fairly short notice. Overall, we were very happy we chose Brandon and Hey! Mr. DJ!

My husband and I met with Brandon and we took to him right off the bat and instantly knew we wanted Brandon as our DJ. Honestly, when first meeting with Brandon we didn’t know what we were getting into, I was expecting to meet, tell him what kind of music we like and that’s that. But hey Mr. Dj does SO much more for you. They have so many wonderful suggestions and are so helpful in planning out the reception, from personalized introductions, to trivia for sending tables to the buffet, the shoe game, and making us a requested power hour from songs our guests requested on our RSVP’s, Brandon was truly a large factor in the success of our reception. Once I hit the dance floor, I never sat down and our dance floor was always full. I can’t say enough about how great of a job Brandon did. They have so many personalized options, from personal recordings to the capability of playing videos- we didn’t do these certain personalizations but I thought they were amazing options! They also provided the uplighting for our event which really took the space over the top. Brandon really listens to you and your vision of your reception and MAKES. IT. HAPPEN. We are so happy with Brandon and his services, 10/10 would recommend!

Brandon and his assistant were "the bomb!" From the ceremony music to the reception, they did a GREAT job. There were people on the dancefloor throughout the entire reception. The best part, which brought tears to everyone's eyes, was the personalized recorded messages he played from the bride and groom to our parent's. The mother-daughter, mother-son and father-daughter dances were a hit and so very heartfelt, thanks to Brandon!
