About this vendor
Hello! We are Emily and Erin, and it’s true! We are REAL sisters! We are two of four girls. Yea, our poor dad! ;-) We started our business with a Craig’s List ad for a free wedding 10 years ago, and here we are today, doing this amazing job, full time!
When we’re not behind the lens, you can find Erin camping, hiking and adventuring. And you can find Emily with a good book, writing poetry or hanging out with her sweet boy, Eli.
Although we live totally different lives, our passion is the same ... documenting all of life’s little - and big - moments! And telling your story, while passionately living ours.
Thank you so much for considering us in documenting your important day!

I can't say enough good things about working with Erin and Hey Sisters!
She not only takes the MOST incredible photos, but she adds so much to the wedding. She is warm, kind, and ...
fun loving and makes you feel so comfortable throughout your day (coming from a gal who is not the most natural in front of the camera!). Communication with her was easy as well - she was super responsive!
Our wedding would not have been the same without Erin there capturing our day! We are obsessed with all of the pictures she took! And she is just the best person.
Where do I even being with the magic that is Erin and Hey Sisters Photography! I absolute love them, they are talented beyond measure and make you feel so special, comfortable, and...
beautiful + they make everything super fun. Their work is unmatched; the editing, coloring, moments they capture... I could go on and on. They understand a woman's good side. They get you a sample of your shoot so fast its incredible (bc trust me when I say you will be dying to see their work). We hired them for our wedding and she was my favorite vendor of the day by far (frankly she felt like a friend almost immediately its weird to call her a "vendor"). The final product (ie: wedding album) is GORGEOUS! They are affordable, travel to a pretty far radius without crazy travel fees, and are simply the best. I highly highly recommend them for your special day and all the moments in between.
Words can’t express how much we love Hey Sisters! They are the sweetest bunch to work with, have the best ideas for photos and take time making sure we’re completely satisfied with...
every part of the process. Their work is amazing, their personalities are the BEST, and we can’t recommend them enough!
I don't even know where to begin because Erin and Emily are so fabulous I can't put it into words! From the beginning, they were SO helpful, communicative and timely in all their r...
esponses which I really appreciated during the hectic wedding planning process. When it came to the wedding I have to say they were the highlight of the day hands down. We had the BEST time with them - they brought so much fun, humor, emotion, love to the day and were my personal hype girl haha. Not only were my husband and I obsessed with them but so was our entire bridal party, family and guests. And OMG THE PHOTOS. Absolutely stunning - I couldn't have imagined anything better. I will cherish them forever and I can't wait to work with Hey Sisters again in the future. If you're looking for the best photographers ever then look no further. Book the Sisters!!! Thank you x 1000 Erin and Emily!
Writing reviews is difficult when you can’t find the words to describe how incredible something is. Erin & her sister Emily from Hey Sisters! Photography are absolute gems. From th...
e moment we talked to Erin years ago we knew we had found the lady we wanted to photograph us. We further confirmed it by meeting her for our engagement session - she made us feel so comfortable! My husband and I are slightly awkward with having a camera pointed at us, but Erin took all the nerves out of the air instantly. She is genuinely sweet, bubbly, easy to get along with and super easy to work with. Within a few minutes of our engagement session, we were laughing and having a great time forgetting the camera was even there. We postponed our wedding in 2020 but Erin never let the communication stop. We worked out a new schedule and she stayed on top of correspondence, which really helped me feel at ease. Fast forward to the wedding weekend and not enough can be said about how incredible they were. We met Emily the day before our wedding for a couple pre-wedding events and she was so great! Again, we instantly felt comfortable and at ease. My friends and I are a bit goofy when we get together, and she fit right in – never making us feel weird about all our odd photo requests. And on the day of, the two of them were remarkable. They captured every moment perfectly. Anything I requested they captured and so, so, so beautifully. I can’t imagine anyone else being there capturing our big day, and we strongly recommend that when looking for a photographer, you choose these awesome ladies. You will not regret it for one moment.
Emily And Erin were the BEST!!!! Totally recommend them for your special day!
Not sure where to begin with Erin. Like so many others, we were planning a wedding during COVID and ran into numerous issues. When we were finally able to lock in a plan, we had di...
fficulty finding someone willing to shoot our midnight, outdoor wedding. After speaking with several photographers, Erin was the first and only to embrace our concept and humanize the vendor selection process. She was thorough, detailed and subtle throughout her time with us. She made sure to capture every moment we asked for, as well as capture the spontaneous moments we didn't plan. She was absolutely incredible and we would highly recommend her for any wedding or event!
I couldn't have imagined or picked a better photographer then Hey Sisters! Erin was our main point of contact who did our engagement photos as well as our day of wedding photos, al...
ongside her sister Emily. These two were the absolute best to work with and made our super warm wedding day so much fun and easy. To top off the amazing customer service, within 48 hours of our wedding we received about 100 sneak peek pictures! That amazed me for such a quick turn around! We can't wait to see the rest but out of the sneak peeks we have a bunch of winning pictures already. Erin and Emily, thank you both so much for all that you do. You both truly love what you are doing and it shows through in your work. We will certainly be keeping in touch for future photos!
We worked with Erin from Hey Sisters for both our engagement session and wedding photos and had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we met her in Chicago for our engagemen...
t session, she exuded positivity and joy and made us feel so at ease. We had so much FUN with the experience - my husband-to-be (at the time!) included! Erin's same bright spirit carried through to our wedding day in Southwest Michigan and the pictures she captured were absolutely stunning (despite the challenges of our outdoor wedding taking place in the rain!) and uniquely reflective of us as a couple. I was a bit worried initially that Emily wasn't going to be able to join her as initially planned, but Erin brought along another photographer and was still able to capture our day beautifully. We look forward to working with Erin & Hey Sisters again in the future for all of our photography moments/needs!
I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible Erin and Emily from Hey Sisters! Photography are. We hired them for our engagement and wedding photos and genuinely couldn’t be happie...
r! They were fun and made us feel so comfortable, not to mention the photos are STUNNING! My husband and I couldn’t stop going through them! If you’re reading this comment and even considering going with them, DO IT! You’ll thank me later!
Erin and Emily were a joy to work with! I am so glad to have found them, especially given how challenging it can be to secure all the vendors you want in South Bend. They were real...
ly easy and fun to work with and helped me draft a timeline for the day and suggested different locations for photos on our wedding day. They were really flexible with the schedule for our day, too. The weather did not cooperate for our engagement session, but Erin did some great problem-solving and we ended up with some beautiful shots that we used for Save the Dates. Luckily, the weather on wedding day couldn't have been better, and we ended up with *hundreds* of gorgeous shots! I cried when I watched the sneak peak slideshow of photos, and to this day cannot believe how well they captured the beauty of the day - they are truly very talented photographers. Worth every penny - you will thank yourself for years to come for booking them for your wedding day!
Erin and Emily are so talented and so sweet! They were so kind and a blessing working with us on a tight budget - and we never felt like we were treated any differently than a coup...
le who could afford all of their services! They went above and beyond on our engagement photos and wedding photos - and always made us feel so comfortable! They captured our day so well that we had a hard time picking which pictures to frame! Thank you for being such sweet souls and talented people!! - The VanCamps
AMAZING choice for your wedding/engagement photos! Erin and Emily are so easy to work with, and they do a fantastic job of capturing the best shots for each moment. Erin and Emily...
care so much about your wedding experience that they go the extra mile to make your day perfect. For example, my spouse and I walked up to the wedding cake right after our grand entrance… only to see there was no knife to cut the cake! Emily noticed before we did, and she SPRINTED to the kitchen to save the day. They are 110% invested in making your day perfect- above and beyond the call of duty, without a doubt :)
Erin and Emily made us feel so comfortable through the whole process from planning all the way through our wedding day. Taking intimate photos can be intimidating, but we immediately felt at ease with these two! And we could not be happier with how our engagement & wedding photos turned out. Coloring, lighting, angles, and camera focus were completely perfect. They were able to capture the best of us, especially through all the emotions of our wedding day!
Trusting these two to capture these important moments in our life was the best decision. You cannot go wrong choosing Hey Sisters! Photography.
Not only are our pictures from our engagement and wedding perfect, but they were both the nicest people you will ever meet. They genuinely care about you and your day. They captur...

r wedding day and capturing our spirits was so special. My husband and I adore them -- So much creativity, talent, and love shines through their work. They are not cut-and-dry photographers. Everything they do is based around you, your relationship, and your personality. They traveled from South Bend to Joliet, IL and we could not be more grateful. Emily even came to our rehearsal just to get a feel for everything. I honestly can't wait to work with them again in the future...we will find a reason! Don't hesitate to hire them. I looked in to more than a few others before hiring these babes. Eternally grateful!
Emily and Erin are the most amazing and talented photographers you could ask for. I would choose them to photograph my wedding time and time again - their photos perfectly captured...
all the true beauty and emotion of the most important day of my life. Their chemistry as sisters is something you cannot find in most photographer partners and it really shines in their work. They are both so kind and were so attentive throughout the entire wedding planning journey and the wedding weekend. Emily and Erin found the perfect photo spots, angles, lighting - everything you could ask for. I also couldn't believe how quickly Emily and Erin were able to share photos from our big day! I would recommend Hey Sisters to every bride - having them as my photographers was one of the best decisions I've made.
I was the Maid of Honor for my sister's January wedding. My sister did an incredible amount of research to find the perfect photographers & she definitely found them.

o the talking; they look flawless. The girls photographed our wedding, and they turned out perfect. Choosing Hey Sisters! was one of the best decision we made.
We did our engagement shoot with Erin from Hey Sisters!
If you are looking for a photographer that will make your session fun and will capture beautiful photos, Hey Sisters is for ...
you! We wanted to do engagement photos in St. Joseph, MI and Erin was more than happy to travel for us (and also hike up some sand dunes!). She suggested poses when we needed it, but also loved having us making the shoot our own! We felt so comfortable throughout the whole process and would definitely book them again! She even posted a few photos the day after our shoot- it was so special to be able to share those with our loved ones! It has made us so excited to see the rest!
The girls were already booked for our date but made it work with the help of some of their friends. They were great to work with from the engagement shoot to the wedding day and I'...
m so in love with all of our pictures, I can't stop looking at them! They also had a video of many photos from the wedding day THE DAY AFTER! They were professional, quick, and lovely people to have. We will DEFINITELY use them again.
Emily and Erin are amazing!! During the booking and planning stage, they were responsive, reliable, and professional. On the wedding day, they made the bridal party feel so comfort...
able and at ease, and they captured phenomenal shots. The end results were breathtaking. An incredibly talented and down-to-earth team, I could not recommend them more.
My husband and I were planning our wedding from across the country, and on a budget. I was determined to find a photographer that I really liked, which took a pretty long time wi...
th the budget we had.
A friend recommended Hey Sisters! Photography to us. They were slightly above budget, but I was impressed with the Photo-Journalistic shots in their portfolio, as well as their artistic shots. When we got into contact with them, they were respectful of our budget, and worked on a custom package to fit what we needed.
Emily and Erin are just great people, which is a major plus since they were following us around on our big day. They listened to what shots we wanted, what aesthetic we wanted, and they even intuitively took photos that I didn't think to ask them for. They were never rude or bossy. They were fun, flexible, patient and accommodating.
They were quick to satisfy us, and our guests with a preview of the wedding album, and we got all of our wedding photos shortly after returning from the Honeymoon.
I would absolutely recommend these groovy sisters.
