From the beginning, she provided transparent guidance on budget and was very realistic about what was and wasn’t feasible, flagging potential concerns early and pairing them with thoughtful solutions rather than simply raising problems. She was incredibly mindful of cost and offered creative ways to stay on track without sacrificing quality.
Although her core expertise is in the SLO county wedding market, she quickly became just as well-versed in Santa Barbara. She did extensive research, reached out proactively to build vendor relationships, and leveraged her existing network to identify the right cultural and logistical partners for our celebration. Within a short time, it was clear she had developed a deep understanding of the SB market — something that normally takes planners years.
What truly set Candice apart was the care she took in navigating culturally specific aspects of our South Asian wedding — securing mandap builders, South and North Indian caterers, and mehendi artists — and approaching each request with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. She never pushed vendors or tried to upsell; instead, her recommendations consistently aligned with our needs, priorities, and budget.
Her planning tools and processes made a huge difference in keeping us organized. Aisle Planner was incredibly helpful, and her design decks and AI mockups brought our vision to life and helped us make faster decisions with confidence. But the ultimate endorsement is how she handled the week-of chaos. When an atmospheric river hit Santa Barbara, we had to relocate 3 out of 5 events, adjust rentals and layouts multiple times, and coordinate over 15 vendors — and Candice managed the entire ordeal with calm leadership and outstanding execution.
Her pricing reflects the level of service she provides — comprehensive, high-touch, and exceptionally diligent — and in our experience, it was more than fair for the expertise and bandwidth she brought to our complex multi-day celebration.

Candice also helped with the design of our wedding and immediately understood our vision. She was receptive to feedback and worked with us to make any tweaks as needed. She has an incredible knowledge of which rentals would work for our vision, which vendors would be able to help achieve it and how to work within the confines of our budget to make it all happen.
During our wedding, I never stressed for a moment that anything would go awry because I knew Candice would ensure that it went smoothly (and she did). She also was our biggest advocate any time there were roadblocks and acted as the point of contact to talk through potential issues with vendors.
