The cake was amazing! They were so thoughtful with us when choosing our flavors. We purchased a small cake to cut after our ceremony when our reception was postponed due to Covid-19. We are looking forward to the big cake at our reception.

We loved the cake this bakery made for our wedding and how beautiful it was! We were a simple couple wanting chocolate chip pound cake for each layer and buttercream frosting with a simple "Betty Crocker" icing design. The cake photographed beautifully, was delicious, and received many compliments from our guests!

Our cake was absolutely delicious and the simplistic beauty that I've always wanted! I can't help but want another slice of cake. They did a beautiful job and coordinated with the other vendors beautifully. I am definitely going back for some other baked goods as well! The cake was provided by the venue from Hornberger Bakery. We went for our tasting to select the flavors and style of the cake. We found their marble cake to be outstanding. They use real buttercreme, you can taste the difference. We were very happy with our selection! The cake looked and tasted wonderful!

Hornberger was recommended to us by our wedding venue. When my now husband and myself went to a tasting at the bakery we were blown away by every cake we tasted. We planned on one flavor and then ended up going for three different flavors! I was back and forth on the design I wanted. I emailed with them a few times and they were so patient with me. The cake was better then I could of imagined! All of our guests loved it and even took some home with them to eat for days later.

My experience with this bakery was wonderful. They provided the cake for my wedding on 8/26/18. They are the preferred cake vendor of my wedding venue. From the beginning, they were great. I attended the tasting with my now husband & my mother in law. They were so nice, discussed everything with us and gave us exactly what we wanted. When our big day came & we actually saw the cake for the first time we were FLOORED by how amazing it looked. Seriously the most beautiful wedding cake I had ever seen & it was mine! I couldn’t have been happier! And to top it all off it tasted amazing also! I had family literally calling me for days after asking if I had any more cake left over haha. Thank you to H.F. I ordered an $80 + cake for my daughter’s bridal shower, and they spelled the groom’s name wrong. My husband picked the cake up and did not notice they had John instead of Josh... I called the bakery from the shower they said I had to bring it back to have it fixed; with 30 minutes before the bride was due to arrive it was impossible. One of the women I spoke to got nasty to me on the phone basically blaming me for their error. Hornburger’s completely lacks any customer service skills. I will never ever grace that place with my presence again, I will make it my mission to make sure no one else repeats my mistake by going to them for anything. By the way the pound cake was dry and stale, no one wanted to take the leftovers home.

The cake taste amazing but the design of the cake was nothing like the picture I submitted and paid a lot extra for. I was sort of embarrassed of how it looked.

They made our wedding cake and it was delicious!!! We were able to make each layer a different flavor cake. They even decorated the cake to match our wedding theme!!! Thank you!!!

Hornberger Bakery was affiliated with our venue (La Luna Banquet Hall) and we could not have been any happier! We went in for a tasting and we were able to try every flavor that they offer and any design we wanted that was within the venue agreement! The cake was so delicious and looked incredible! They were able to match the color of our girls' dresses almost perfectly! H.F Hornberger completely exceeded my expectations with my wedding cake. I had a 4 tier all white cake with a lace design and the tiers of the cake were made up of raspberry cream and chocolate chip cake. Not only was it so beautiful to look at, it was absolutely delicious! We had a few pieces to take home with us after the wedding and we ate wedding cake for dessert all week! Celebrations has a package deal with Hornberger's bakery. So you have to get your cake through them. At first I wasn't too happy with having to choose this bakery. I wanted something custom and I didnt think they would do it. I believe I met with Pat for taste testing session and to discuss what design I wanted. I went over with her the specific custom design I wanted done. I even showed her picture of how I exactly wanted the cake to look. She took down all of the information and said that the woman who does the designing would contact me the next week with pricing etc. I tasted all the flavors that they have to offer and decided on a 5 tier cake alternating between raspberry swirl and chocolate pound cake. I got the call back the next week letting me know the pricing and that they could do the custom design with icing and not fondant (which is what I wanted). When I saw the cake on my wedding day I could not believe how amazing it came out. They went above and beyond my expectations. The cake was split with one side being classic white wedding cake design and they other side was black with white designs. Where the cake splits down the middle there was white flowers in icing. I really was blown away. It was so amazing. Every single guest loved the design and how well it was done. Even the staff at Celebrations commented on how unique and beautiful it turned out to be. It really was my dream cake and it tasted awesome as well! There quality of worked really showed. I can say that Hornberger's amazed me and I would recommend their bakery to anyone!

My cake was absolutely beautiful! So beautiful I really didn't want to cut into it! They did an amzing job decorating my cake, and the cake itself was so delicious and moist! I couldn't of asked for a better cake!

We did a 5 tier chocolate chip pound cake, lemon, and raspberry. It was delicious!!!

The wedding cake we used was very delicious. Our cake was 5 tiers and we had 4 different flavors of pound cake. The cake was delicious! My only issue with them is when we had our cake sampling, we were in the main part of the bakery where customers come in and out, so it was a private moment for us. The lady who assisted us was very helpful and patient with us as we were very indecisive! I would definitely go to this bakery again! The wedding cake was included in our reception package, so that was also a plus!

Our wedding cake was so delicious. I am just disappointed with the colors they chose for my cake. I upgraded to have ribbon on my cake and the color they chose clashed with flowers they put on. I'm not sure if they are color blind or why they thought it looked nice but I was upset. However, I'm still getting compliments on how delicious it was despite the appearance.

The cake and icing were questionable at the tasting, but our actual cake was beautiful and tasted great! Worth the upgrades. Would use them again.

Hornbergers works with Pen Ryn Mansion to do all wedding cakes. We ordered a plain buttercream cake with alternating rows of vanilla pound cake and raspberry swirl. The cake was decent. The bakery worked with us to add ribbon to the bottom layer of each tier to match a picture I found on pinterest. I had originallywanted fondant instead of ribbon, but they specialize in butter cream cakes, so they were going to charge $200 extra to do a small border in fondant. I ended up supplying the ribbon myself and they attached it to the cake. Overall, we had a good experience working with them.

I really loved my cake - which is why it gets four stars - but a couple days before the wedding they called us to let us know that they didn't think the cake needed the extra icing flowers they had originally suggested (despite the fact that I didn't think it needed it anyway). Ultimately, my husband and I agreed the cake looked fine without the flowers - but I realized afterwards that we had paid extra for the decorations (we got the cake as part of a package deal with our venue) and not only did they remove the flowers - they didn't do anything to help our little cake topper stand out more - not a big deal, but I kind of thought that the flowers would help it blend with the cake a little more (and our topper was a bit small - it could've used some beefing up!). Ultimately we were happy with the cake itself and those thoughts were not on our mind the day of.

Our cake looked amazing and tasted great! Our guests loved it and so did we! Can't wait to eat the rest on our 1 year anniversary :)

I love this bakery! Our cake was so good, it was by far one of the tastiest wedding cakes I've ever had (and I'm not just saying that because it was my cake!) I definitely recommend the raspberry swirl! So much better than your traditional lemon or vanilla pound cake. We picked the design from their book and the tailored it to our wants. It was positively beautiful!

Hornberger's Bakery is DELICIOUS!!! Everything I have purchased there has been very good. My wedding cake was phenominal. I brought pictures of cakes I like and don't like and we created a perfect 4 layer cake. They did a fantastic job and I got a lot of compliments on my gorgeous cake. I was very pleased with the turnout. I definitely recommend the raspberry swirl! Delicious!! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also purchased a groom's cake from there as well. They did a fantastic job and were very creative!!

This bakery was sooo easy to use! I met with them once, showed them a picture of what I wanted and that was it! The day of the wedding the cake was there exactly the way I pictured it and it was delicious too!

My cake was provided by my venue, who uses Hornberger's Bakery. My cake consisted of layers of raspberry pound cake, chocolate chip pound cake, and marble pound cake with buttercream icing. All of the flavors were good, but the raspberry was my favorite (and I don't even like raspberries!). As far as the design, I went through many of their pictures and did a combination of two ideas, which was not a problem. My wedding theme was peacock, and I wanted to incorporated peacock feathers into the cake somehow but was not sure how. I dropped off some feathers for them to play around with and see what they thought would look good in the end. When I saw the cake on the day of, it was absolutely perfect! It was so pretty and they added the feathers in just the right spots, which completed the cake. I was very content with how everything turned out and they worked with me and my ideas so I could get what I wanted.

We chose this place because several members of my family have used their cakes for special events through the years and have always been pleased. We ordered a simple 4-tier cake with 4 different flavored pound cake layers. Kim was great to work with and knew exactly what we wanted. The cake turned out exactly as we described and tasted great!

I wanted a cupcake tier wedding cake. We went there for cake testing, gave a discount because of ease of making cupcakes. Very simple and very pretty. Arrived on time and taste freshly baked.
