Look no further, Heather is your girl! She is absolutely top notch, in a league of her own. She makes you feel completely comfortable, hypes you up, wrangles your extended family into standing still and smiling, and then turns around and produces gorgeous photos. She’s a seasoned pro and sprinkles in wisdom and tips that make the day fly smoothly by. She also rolls with the punches and is ready for anything, got a ring bear that wants to take his shirt off? No problem. You wanna have donkeys at your cocktail hour? Sounds like fun! She doesn’t just photograph you, she celebrates you during every moment of your big day - something that so clearly comes through in her photos.

There are not enough words to describe the professionalism and beautiful work than Heather has to offer. She is so directional and makes taking pictures (especially with the husband who doesn’t love pictures) SO fun and easy for both of us. The magic she works before, during and after the wedding last a life time. She helps make the moments special but gives you the pictures to relive them over and over again. When I got my gallery back I felt like I was right there reliving every moment without anything being missed or altered. I feel she works really hard to make the photos fit YOU and your moments rather than trying to make you and your moments fit a specific guideline like some photographers tend to do. It’s very organic and she makes you feel like the most beautiful human being in front of the camera. She truly goes above and beyond and by the end of it you’ll feel you have a new friend!! I cannot recommend her more.

Heather was such a great decision for our wedding! Besides taking AMAZING pictures, she helped me make the timeline for our whole day! She captured every important moment so perfectly, and moments that I never even knew happened. Heather is truly one of a kind! She is such a light and brings so much joy/positivity to her clients and it shows in her photos. Heather is an absolute dream to work with! She made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She is super quick and efficient and gets all the photos done in a timely manner. She wrangled all the groomsmen and made it fun and easy for them. She is super flexible and was able to change our photo timeline due to rain and made it work. She never got frustrated even with my little nephews not cooperating. Heather feels more like a best friend than a photographer when she is at your wedding making sure she captures the posed photos but all the candid photos that you will cherish for years! Heather is absolutely amazing!! She did 3 sessions for us (engagements, bridals, and wedding) and all of them were fantastic! She is so easy to work with and her communication with her customers is top-notch. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and always has amazing ideas when it comes to background, lighting, etc. Not only is HG great during your photo sessions, she does such a good job of delivering your photos in a timely manner via a password protected website. In addition, she is so helpful when it comes to the delivery of your photos! My husband and I had an issue with the post office bending some of our prints that we had ordered after our wedding. I figured I would reach out to Heather just to see if she would be able to help us (since the post office was not) - she was so understanding, was willing to make accomodations for us to have a different delivery method, and the photos we got turned out perfect and not damaged. We were so thankful for that! She cares about her clients and is always willing to go the extra mile. My husband and I are now expecting our first baby and I absolutely can't wait to use HG for our maternity shoot. I cannot recommend HG Ranch Photography enough for any wedding event and more!! Heather is absolutely amazing. I didn’t know where to begin trying to find a photographer for our wedding day. I was blessed to have HG Ranch Photography recommended to me. When I talked to Heather on the phone for the first time..I was sold. She made me feel so comfortable and explained everything I needed to know. When it came to engagements we didn’t know what to expect. She drove 3 hours to us and it was a blast. She made us feel so comfortable and the pictures were nothing less than amazing. Leading up to and on our wedding day, Heather helped in more ways than one. She helped with a timeline, gave advice, lifted us up, kept us calm and so much more. The day after our wedding my husband and I were talking about how everything went, he said “when we have babies, I want her to be our family photographer!” She is such a genuine person that’s easy to relate to and helps make your special moments fun and exciting!

I literally could not imagine having anyone else shoot such a special time in my life. Heather has been extremely responsive in all communication from the very first time I reached out! We took engagements in the Houston July heat last year (2021) and she had us (who had never taken professional pictures) laughing and smiling and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. My husband and I decided to elope at Zion National Park in Utah, so when I was looking for a photographer it was really important for us to find someone that was willing to go the extra mile (by go I mean hike....) with us. Heather went above and beyond. She was always timely in her communications. She not only did the research needed to help us find the perfect spot, she even spent a whole day with us hiking and explaining different pictures she could take along the way! Heather was a blast to work with before during and after our wedding. She even sent us a 4 pictures early so we could post them to our social media to let friends and family know we got married! 10 out of 10 would recommend this fabulous woman to take photos for any occasion.

Going into the engagement pictures my fiancé and I had never taken professional pics before so we were a little nervous, Heather immediately made us feel comfortable and by the end of the session she was family to us! Then came bridals…..I took my bridals at sunset one evening and THE VERY NEXT MORNING I had my whole gallery back…of 280 pictures! My wedding day Heather killed it! Everything was amazing. I'm typically not a "review" person, but oh my lanta does HG deserve one! We knew going into our wedding planning that a good, quality photographer was on our NEED list. I grew up in the same county as Heather, so I already knew of her and her business going into it. I also had been following her (read: living vicariously through her) on social media, so I knew how gorgeous her style of photography was already before booking with her. I am not sure what I was expecting before booking with her as far as the whole experience goes, but whatever it was, it pales in comparison to the service that she gives you. She truly cares about you as a person and wants to make sure that you have the best day ever. Her photos honestly speak for themselves- they are stunning and gorgeous and I want to cover my entire house with them. But the thing that takes HG Ranch Photography above and beyond is Heather herself. She is responsive and detail oriented in the set up to the big day. She is also a calming presence in the hustle and bustle, a helping hand (in things that aren't the "responsibility" of a photographer), and honestly one of the BEST hype-women I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I am so glad we were able to work with her on our special day, and I would recommend her to anyone who comes my way!
