Nestled in a holler and the bottom of a dead end road is our little piece of paradise.Whether you like the warm glow of the lights inside the barn, or the gentle breeze from the deck that overlooks Smith Lake, we have everything you could ask for. With our flexible times you can come as early as you want the day before and day of and stay as late as you want for no extra fee. We have a sound system in the barn and for the deck. We also just added heating and cooling in the barn. Our price of $2200 includes access to everything we have on site with no additional cost. beautiful. When we arrived to decorate, the air conditioner was not working. We called & texted the owners to be told that they would come down, they never did. We were there for 2 days. Friday morning to decorate, and Friday evening for the rehearsal and all day Saturday for the wedding and reception. We didn’t expect it to be cold, it’s June in Alabama and it’s a barn. But it was unbearable. And we were told time after time they were coming and it was all lies. We never saw anyone. Also don’t book this place unless you have a 4 wheel drive.
The driveway had massive holes and ditches washed out in it.
We were also told they would come grate the driveway and still never saw anyone. We aren’t confrontational people, had they told us they couldn’t fix the air, couldn’t grate the driveway, couldn’t live up to the things we were offered, we would have said “ok we understand” but we were told multiple times that they were coming and they never did. Actually in all the time I dealt with the venue I never saw anyone. When we went to see it the first time I was just told it would be open and we could go in and look around. Should have been a red flag for me but with all the reviews about how great they were I went with it anyway. Thanks to our families and friends the wedding still turned out beautiful and a small rain shower cooled it off enough for us to not have anyone pass out from the heat. But I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone that’s having a summer wedding, they definitely shouldn’t be considered a temp controlled venue.

ay so seamless for our guests and us. The beautiful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding, and the fact that we could also take our engagement photos there was a huge bonus!
The venue had a spacious bridal suite, which made getting ready with my bridesmaids so much fun, and the prep kitchen was a great addition for our catering team. We were given access to the venue from Friday to Sunday, allowing us plenty of time to set up and enjoy our special weekend.
One of the best parts was how responsive and accommodating the owners were. Any time I had a question, they were quick to respond via text (even though Sheri is a teacher), which made the whole planning process so much less stressful.
If you're looking for a rustic woodsy wedding venue, this is the place! I highly recommend it!

y. The Etsy closet as we call it had numerous options to decorate the venue to suit any brides needs for her dream wedding. All of my guest gave compliment after compliment how beautiful the ceremony cite was and how nice the barn was for the reception. This place photographs outstanding!!! I am so happy with how every photograph turned out here! Highly recommend to any bride. Only drawback is on the invitation be sure to put just lays drive. If you put 118 lays drive it sends guest on a 15 minute loop on lays road in jasper which is about 10 minutes away in the wrong direction. Some guest got lost and was hard to talk them back to the venue. Other than that amazing!

The ceremony site is gorgeous with all the trees and the lake in the background, and the barn is air conditioned which was amazing for our August wedding! The bridal suite was also really cute and a great place to relax and get ready before/after the ceremony. Highly recommend Hidden Cove Farms for a beautiful rustic venue!
