Hidden Creek will always hold a special place in our hearts. Before we were married, my wife and I used to meet here halfway on date nights when we lived a city apart. It’s even where we first said “I love you.” So when it came time to choose our wedding venue, there was never any question that it had to be Hidden Creek. From the moment we booked, the experience was exceptional. Our coordinators were organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. The online wedding portal made it easy to keep track of every detail and deadline, and our periodic check-in meetings ensured we stayed on pace and never missed anything important. As the wedding day approached, the team was always quick to answer questions, address concerns, and accommodate any specific needs we had. One of the biggest stress-relievers was that Hidden Creek is all-inclusive. We didn’t have to worry about renting tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, etc. or coordinating with a bunch of different vendors. Everything was already handled by their staff, which made planning so much easier and let us focus on the parts of the wedding that mattered most to us. The venue itself is beautiful. We were thrilled with all the new renovations to the barn and grounds, and every space—from the ceremony site to the wine bar, dinner tent, and reception hall—was beautiful even before adding our own decorations. Our guests loved each spot just as much as we did. And although we were lucky with the weather for our October wedding, the staff had clear plans in place to keep everything running smoothly in case of rain or cold. Our day-of coordinators were incredible. They handled every detail behind the scenes, worked seamlessly with our other vendors, and made sure everything went perfectly so we could relax and enjoy the day. They even helped us execute some meaningful small touches that were especially important to us. Many of our guests commented on how wonderful the staff were throughout the entire celebration. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch at Hidden Creek, both planned and catered by their team. The food was amazing, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our wedding package included the on-site rental house, The Cottage, for two nights for us and our wedding party. It was cozy, convenient, and even came with a thoughtful gift waiting for us. Our families rented the 70’s House and Oak View guest houses and had a similarly comfortable, enjoyable stay. Having everyone nearby made the whole weekend feel even more special. We’re already looking forward to returning to Hidden Creek in the years to come, to enjoy the incredible food and wine, and to relive the wonderful memories of our wedding day. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place or a more dedicated team to help bring our wedding day to life!

With over 20 years of Executive and Event Planning experience this is a passion for us. We want to provide the best experience for our couples to have a beautiful day with an incredible experience. t say no! We were in awe when we came back to see the grand opening and we were ready to sign! Everything that was included was amazing! We didn’t have to worry about tables chairs linens & the Airbnb next door was included for the bride and groom and just the overall look of the venue I knew I didn’t have to stress about decor because it’s beautiful just the way it is! I couldn’t take away from that! We only had to worry about our table settings and we went with the bare minimum for the ceremony space! The staff throughout the whole year were amazing! They answered every question and gave amazing advice for things to include on our day. Bryn was amazing in getting me organized to the day! She was apart of every meeting and even checked in after the wedding! Kim and Abby were apart of our whole weekend keeping us on track and running the smoothest wedding I could ever ask for! Nicole and Abby were also apart of our day and were on top of keeping me relaxed and ready to get married! No nerves at all! The week of our wedding we started it with a night at the wine bar we met so many of the staff and they were so helpful with recommendations on what to order and giving us a run down of the property. Friday was our rehearsal and all our family’s checked in to the other Airbnbs around the corner. It was amazing having everyone so close and wish I could have seen all the homes! They were absolutely beautiful! Friday is open to the public and they have a band playing but the privacy was still there with our Airbnb being right next door we had no issues with anyone being on our side of the property and no issues with noise! Kim and Abby ran through our rehearsal and we were able to enjoy our time upstairs in a private space away from the public but still felt included being able to see the band from the balcony patio. On the wedding day it was so amazing and had zero issues and the staff had everything under control I didn’t have to think about one thing when it came to our guests! And they were on top of making sure we were taken care of throughout the entire day! Made sure we had drinks in our hands and were hydrated checking in on us! It was so special! A dream come true! I couldn’t recommend them enough! The venue is beautiful! The staff is amazing! I can’t wait to take a Friday night trip out to sit on the patio take in the views again and enjoy my new favorite wine! They have special imported wines and I’ve never been a fan of wine but the moscato they have is amazing! Thank you to every staff member who helped us that whole weekend! My in laws were complimented how easy and stress free I was to the staff and it would’ve been that way if I didn’t have such amazing people helping me throughout it all and keeping me relaxed through ever step! Catering was amazing as well! They are contracted with greenfire in Rockford and they also had such amazing staff and I still am getting compliments how amazing the cocktail hour appetizers were and dinner!

le Airbnb’s on the property and golf carts to get around, allowing us to do everything there from Friday-Sunday. Starting with rehearsal dinner, we did it inside the barn and had food catered from Hidden Creek. The food was AMAZING (pasta bar) and all our guests had nothing but compliments. Wedding day we did the ceremony by the pond, cocktail hour on the patio, dinner on the upper patio under the tent, and reception inside the barn/patio. With about 175 people, It was a perfect flow around the property and gave everyone plenty of space. The staff was so accommodating and truly cared about us having the best wedding. The venue came with a day of planner who made the whole weekend stress-free. The venue already has a beautiful aesthetic and plenty of decorations, and we were lucky to be one of the early weddings after the new renovations. Overall, Hidden Creek Estates was the best choice we made and you will not go wrong having your special day here!

extremely attentive and made it super easy for us to focus on enjoying the experience rather than stressing about it. From start to finish the planning experience and actual day-of execution of our event was in good hands. I really appreciated the online planning tools that we had access to and always felt comfortable reaching out to Tara and Bryn (event coordinators) with questions. While I didn't always get an immediate response, they were always thorough in their answers and incredibly kind throughout the whole process. Our wedding day was more wonderful than we had even imagined and Hidden Creek made that the reality! I know we'll enjoy visiting the wine bar to reminisce about our big day and we'll definitely be recommending the venue to family and friends whenever possible.

tell they put a lot of thought into any additions they make. The venue is absolutely beautiful and unique. We received so many compliments on the venue. We loved that it was dog friendly and that there were accommodations on site. We loved having our wedding at hidden Creek. The online system they use for planning / preparation was such a great tool to have. Tara and Bryn are helpful and answer all of your questions. Tara and Amanda direct coordinators and handle all the logistics the day of your wedding and it was so helpful. We had a little confusion the morning of the wedding about who to go to but the kinks were worked out. Our outdoor ceremony needed to be moved due to the rain and the venue had the ceremony site moved so quickly and beautifully. Everyone was great to work with - The staff at the bar was amazing. My husband and I are so glad we got married here.

beautiful with all the different locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception but the staff are some of the sweetest, most accommodating/helpful, and professional staff there is! The process of planning the wedding and even day of ran so smooth because the staff are so diligent and experienced! Our families also stayed at the Airbnbs on the property that were so unique, fit large groups perfectly, and very convenient with only being a golf cart drive away from the main venue! Tara, Bryn, Jared, and all the staff at Hidden Creek made us and our family feel so loved and cared for on our special day! We highly recommend this venue and staff - not only for wedding day but for the fun events that they host through out the year!

Hidden Creek is a beautiful & fantastic venue for your outdoor/ semi-outdoor wedding. Their service is absolutely top notch. Why only 4 stars (yes I know, I've changed it)? Well, ...

they are a bit on the pricey side (but you get a lot for your money!), & are a little inflexible when it comes to outside vendors. As of our wedding, they only allow one particular caterer for weddings. This is to control the quality of event that they host, the caterer is excellent. But they too, are pricey. Hidden Creek also has their own liquor license, & you must purchase alcohol through them. Hidden Creek is relatively new in business (just completed their 2nd season), & these limitations are no doubt in place to make sure that the finished product they offer is of high quality. In this, they succeed. I would easily have left a 5-star review if there were a few more options for caterers (thus offering a broader price range). I have no doubt there will be in the future. They are also open to the public Wednesday-Friday nights, hosting a wine & cocktail bar, food trucks, & live music. They manage 3 larger Airbnbs, all of which are either onsite, or back up against the property. We had the girls stay in the onsite house (which you have access to for free when you have your wedding with Hidden Creek), the guys had their own house, & some close family rented the third. We would highly recommend any of the 3 (I challenge anyone to not fall in love with the bridal suite in their Oakview home). We're looking forward to coming back for several wine bar nights, and are planning to rent these houses in the future. The level of service & attention paid to you as a couple by Hidden Creek can't be overstated. In fact, on that alone I think I'll change this from 4 stars to 5.

here we wanted to have our wedding. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and peaceful - what's better than being surrounded by nature?! It was exactly the energy and feel we wanted for our big day. Not to mention how outstanding the all of the staff was (big shout out to Kim, Tara, and Jared!). They went above and beyond for us and made sure everything went according to plan. Honestly, I was nervous about how smooth things would go the day of but it was clear they had a handle on everything. This meant my (now) husband and I could enjoy our day without any thought to the timeline, etc. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how peaceful it was. We can't wait to book the cottage in the future for an anniversary getaway and/or visit the venue again for a wine bar night!

A great bonus was that the ceremony and the reception were all at the same venue, and when we moved to different areas of the property it gave it a completely different feel. If you want a place that has multiple areas to create that “perfect picture”, then you want to have your wedding here.
