We had our entire wedding day at Hideaway Bay and could not have asked for anything more! Christian and the entire staff were top notch from the planning to everything the day of o...
ur wedding. The setup was exactly as we had asked for and some last minute changes we asked for were handled immediately. Our ceremony took place right on the beach under our perfect driftwood arch! We did a cocktail hour with appetizers right on the beach as well, following the ceremony. The bartenders and servers were so kind and attentive to all of our guests. For dinner service we did a buffet style and used the entire upstairs at Drift Restaurant. We had a huge family table outdoors and non family guests were indoors. If we had the room for everyone on the upper patio we would have had everyone outside! But it was all perfect and beautiful. The food was exceptional! Chef Ben was at the carving station and so many compliments on how great the food was! We used the first floor at Drift for the reception with an open bar and plenty of room for mingling and dancing. Following these events we had a bonfire with a lot of our family down by the lake. With the ten cabins that most of our family and friends stayed at right on site, it is very convenient for arrival and departure! The staff and bartenders didn't miss a beat and took extra special care of everyone. We would Highly recommend Hideaway Bay to anyone looking to hold a beachside wedding and everything following it! Payment was so easy to make with email reminders with amount due dates. Thank you so much Christian and Kevin and to all the staff we had, for the most perfect day!
