even made time to set a phone call with us the week of the wedding, just so we could verbalize our vision for the day! Lee made sure all of our selected music was played during the ceremony, provided microphones to ensure all of our guests heard the officiant/bride/groom, and filled in ceremony music where needed. There were no hiccups during the ceremony, nor any awkward pauses in the music. Our reception coverage by DJ HD was even better than we expected! He interacted with our guests, kept the energy high throughout the night, and made sure everyone had a great time. We had requests for such a wide-range of music– country, pop, hip-hop, r&b, rap, latin, old school, new school, and more– and Lee made sure everything flowed smoothly! Folks…I’m not sure I can put into words what a great job DJ Hi-Def did for my daughter’s and “new” son’s wedding…but here goes. First communication was amazing. Not a lot of filler...

emails, just short and sweet and to the point. Quick to respond to questions pre-contract and equally speedy with responses after we’d signed. Never felt like he forgot about us. The couple gave him a really precise play list for both the ceremony and reception and he was great, sticking to it. The also didn’t want a lot of banter and he kept the announcements and mic work to the perfect amount. Even helped keep some of the more unruly guests in line with well timed “mic checks” 🤣 DJ Hi-Def (or as I kept calling him, DJ WiFi 🤗)was personable, fun and became a crucial element to making the party amazing. He even helped get us all hyped when an unexpected occurrence happened that temporarily lowered the mood. He provided music and a lapel mic for the outdoor ceremony and there were zero issues on that front. Fully and with a glad and grateful heart recommend Lee as the DJ to beat them all.

le through call or text a couple weeks leading up to the wedding. I sent DJ Lee notes and a playlist beforehand of songs for the ceremony and songs that we wanted/would like to be played, a list of songs in each decade to get the vibe, and a do-not play list, but honestly I'm not sure if it was reviewed (it was long). For example, some of the songs we wanted were not played and some of the do-not play songs were played during the dance portion of the reception. Don't get me wrong the dance portion was still fun and energy was high throughout, but we did feel the music played was a bit outdated and not prepared specifically for us. There was also a bit of a mix-up on the groomsmen walk-in song and bridesmaids walk-in song during the ceremony where there was a silence for two of the groomsmen walking towards the aisle. However, we did not do a rehearsal so this might have been avoided if we had one. Overall, we really did enjoy our time with DJ Lee, he was willing to work with our budget and he helped to make the night fun and would recommend him to others.

The setup on the day of the wedding was perfect, despite the rain, they adapted and never missed a beat! The DJ was amazing and so engaging, the photo booth staff were so personable (and even made a scrapbook for us which we didn’t know they would do), and the videographer exceeded our expectations. They even reached out a few weeks after to make sure we received our wedding video. If I could give them 100 stars I would!! Highly recommend using this company for your next event! tpone our wedding three times due to covid. Not only was Lee on board for whatever changes we needed to make, but he made its feel good about the whole wedding in general. He was always responsive and helpful and even met with us in person to discuss how we'd like our event to go. He pays great attention to detail and is truly the nicest guy! There was no request too big for him. On the day of the wedding, our scheduled pianist missed his flight. Lee hopped right in and added piano tracks for us so that our singer could still sing the songs for our ceremony. YOU WANT TO BOOK HI-DEF for your party needs. SO MANY guests at our wedding commented on what an awesome selection of songs were played and how great his interactions were with the crowd.
