d are only out to get your money. They have been absolutely HORRIBLE to deal with through this whole Coronavirus epidemic. I don’t know why they think it’s ok to take advantage of people in a time like this. We unfortunately had to cancel our wedding here because they were completely unwilling to work with us. They are taking advantage of the couples who are under contract. We were unable to make any of their alternative options work because the options would have forced us to have our wedding in November when it’s an outdoor venue, or we had to pick Friday or Sunday next year even though we paid for a Saturday this year, or we could keep our date but they would have forced ours guests into groups of 5 under tents. (which was a loop hole they are assuming will work but hasn’t been approved by the governor) But no matter what we still had to pay full price on the original due date even though we weren’t going to get what we originally signed up for. We tried and begged them to negotiate an alternative option to just do a small ceremony on our wedding day at a lesser price in order to keep our date and not put all of our loved ones at risk in a large crowd. Or we asked if we could pick a Saturday next year. They just kept telling us NO and we can only pick from their options and we had to pay up, full price, on the due date. The owner even told me “If you have any further questions you’re welcome to call me but I don’t honestly have any answers besides that we are just going to move ahead with the contract as it stands and assume the best.“ No negotiating or compromising. Just pay up! They were terrible about communicating and wouldn’t answer our questions. When the owner finally did communicate, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. Due to their lack of understanding, communication, and unwillingness to work with us on any of our requests, we had to cancel. Then, get this, a few days later after we cancelled, they post a new option on their website. It’s the exact same option that we were asking them to compromise and do for us! To have a small ceremony on our wedding date for a discounted price. When I asked for that option, they told me I would still have to pay the full price of $4,750. But, now if you are a “New Bride” you can do that option for way less? (For the same price as our deposit which they refused to return) Seriously?!! Because they had us under contract they knew they could take advantage! Also, when I told them we had to cancel, which we followed what her contract stated and canceled 60 days out, she was extremely rude and blamed us for her not being able to make her mortgage payment! What kind of business owner says something like that?! They completely turned it around on us! If they were so worried about making their mortgage, then you’d think they’d be more willing to work with us! So couples, before you book with them, please feel take my review into consideration and make an educated decision so you don’t walk in blind like we did. Their true colors came out when we dealt with them, and it was bad. We are also not the only review saying this! They did the same thing to another couple and who knows how many others! They are not worth your time or business!

ience, and loved that they had so many decorations for us to choose from to use on our day, and that the venue is so genuinely beautiful that it doesn't need much beautifying. The one bummer was that our night couldn't go longer, because of the sound ordinances written by the county and by the Greenbluff community. All said and done, the day was incredible and we are so happy to have had our event at HCO!

our bartender and he did an outstanding job, making sure me and my husband, as well as our bridal party and parents had drinks the whole time. The venue itself is beautiful. We had access to the entire property for photos. Everything about this venue was perfect!
