About this vendor
High Definition is a wedding band based out of Dallas, TX, specializing in expertly played covers. Since forming in 2008, we've entertained countless crowds, and the annual events we perform continue to have us back year after year. We're happy to travel outside DFW for your special day!
High Def plays music from all genres and decades, with selections to delight every guest. Our catalog ranges from Michael Buble to ACDC, and our focus is on modern party music--artists like Lizzo, Bruno Mars, and Harry Styles. We welcome requests, and will learn your special dance songs!
High Def will work as MCs to help direct your reception and make any necessary announcements. We can also provide recorded or live music for your ceremony and cocktail hour. We have options for separate sound systems and microphones for your ceremony--send us a message!
We’re all about creating memories, like getting you and your bridesmaids on stage to sing with the band, or for your dad to play a sax solo with us (yes, it’s happened before and it was awesome). We’re in the business of serving your vision and making lasting memories for you, your family and friends. Have a special private dance request or want a special horn exit? Let us know!

They set a swanky mood early in the night, with special requests that we asked to be done in a jazz version. Then they got every person in the building moving. We were told repeate...
dly that they were the best wedding band they'd ever seen. Their variety of songs and genres that they did were awesome and having both male and female voices made it exceptional. Thank y'all for being such a huge part of the best night of our lives. Hire them if you want to be entertained and have fun!

Give them a stage and a crowd and they will bring the party! A live band was our number one priority, and after doing a lot of research into options in the DFW we are SO happy we b...
ooked with High Definition. We got so many compliments on their performance, and some of my favorite memories of the day are being on the dance floor and seeing EVERY table empty because everyone was on the dance floor! They were so accommodating of learning our special songs, and made the day truly incredible!

o end just so we could kept listening to the amazing talent that is High Def. On top of all of that, they were honestly the nicest people and each one of them individually wished us much happiness on our wedding and marriage. I began the search for a Wedding Band for my daughters Wedding months in advance. After reaching out to music industry contacts I had in the Dallas TX area, the band High Definitio...
n came very highly recommended. Since I live in the Tampa, FL area and was unable to see them live in advance, I sent my daughter to preview the band and she really enjoyed them, so I booked them. The band leader Ross met with us prior to discuss the itinerary and the music that my Daughter and her Fiancé wanted for their 1st Dance and the Parents Dances. He was very accommodating and professional. As a music industry professional myself for many years, I must say that they exceeded my expectations and were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a top notch band. Five Stars.....
As we began planning our wedding, we considered what memories of the day would be most important to us. First and foremost, we wanted the celebration to be one that we, and our fam...
ily & friends, would always cherish. Without a doubt, High Definition Band brought our vision to reality!
We worked closely with Ross over the months leading to our wedding, to plan music personal to us, the timeline for the evening, as well as the logistics & lighting for the event. High Definition even added new songs to their repertoire just for our special dances. The outcome was beyond our expectations.
High Definition performed most of our ceremony music, facilitated our blessing and toast, and rocked our reception with an 8 piece band.
Every single person at our reception later commented on what an amazing job High Definition did. Our photographer's pictures of the reception portray a packed and fun dance floor thanks to the talent and high energy of the band. And, to date, everyone that attended share their fun memories with us of their enjoyment of the band & celebration. Hiring High Definition was one of the best decisions that we made!
We hired High Definition for our wedding. We could not have had a better experience! Almost everyone we spoke to after the wedding commented on the fantastic band and the energy th...
ey brought to our Sunday night reception. A professional musician friend also commented on their ease with playing varying styles. More than this, Ross went above and beyond to accommodate the groom's request to perform a special solo for the bride. The band exceeded in this request, as they performed marvelously.
The bride and groom highly recommend High Definition to any couple looking for a high-energy live band in DFW.
High Definition made our wedding reception so much fun! The band was prompt, professional, and so easy to work with. They were able to perform the song we chose for our first dance...
and were able to accommodate many of our other requests. Our reception went smoothly with the incredible variety of music and Ross' excellent emcee skills. From the uplighting and dinner music to the dancing music and stage show which had people of all ages moving, High Definition made the night shine and left us with great memories! We are so grateful!

ngs. They were so easy to work with and took all the requests from the bride and groom before-hand, but allowed for requests at the actual ceremony if we wanted (which was fine with us). They also learned our first dance and daddy/daughter and mother/son dance songs and played them perfectly. High Def was excellent for our reception because everyone brought their dance shoes! I HIGHLY recommend this band for your wedding!
This band completely MADE the reception! I had people asking me all night who the band was and how we found them. The male lead singer (Ross) and the female singer (there's only on...
e female in the band) were AMAZING! They made my reception exactly what I wanted and got people out on the dance floor all night long! We had additional instructions for them regarding introducing the wedding party, etc & they did exactly as we asked!
