We got married in November 2022 and hired DJ Paul for our wedding. Because of his services, our wedding day went flawlessly. Paul truly helped make our wedding day the best experience and for that we are so grateful! He made sure everyone was having a great time. He is very responsive to messages and wants to make sure you have all the music that you need for your wedding. He is just the BEST!

DJ Paul Peterson MADE my entire wedding! Not only did my wife and I think that Paul was above and beyond amazing, but so many of our guests came up to us during the wedding to say how much they loved the DJ. Paul set the whole mood with this energy, positivity, and genuine care for how we felt. The wedding party was energized throughout the night by all of Paul's positive comments in private like "Who's ready for the grand entrance!" And "Let's get excited for the next song!". Paul happily took song requests from my guests so they could have the best time, he made in-the-moment adjustments to make me happy and did it all with a smile and enthusiasm. Paul also reached out to all of my other wedding vendors the week of the wedding just to make sure everyone was on the same page. Paul is not just a DJ, he focuses on making sure the whole day goes off without a hitch because he truly cares about the bride and groom. DJ Paul was the absolute best wedding DJ we could've hoped for! He was so kind and patient leading up to our Big Day, helping with our timing questions every step of the way. During our wedding, Paul was the utmost professional, handling the transition from Ceremony to Reception seemlessly and sharing his awesome and contagious positive energy throughout the entire night! He was engaging and fun and we truly felt like he cared how my wife and I were doing ! He played great music and carried himself like a professional. Paul is amazing! My husband and I booked him for our wedding in July and we could not have asked for a better DJ. He was attentive every step of the way and made sure to check in with me leading up to the wedding. The wedding day went perfectly and he was on top of everything. He was professional, kind, and everyone loved him!

Paul is the absolute BEST!!! Hiring Paul was hands down the best choice that we made for our wedding & we genuinely mean that. I’m not great at picking songs, I told him the type of vibe I was going for and he absolutely KILLED it! Paul was interactive with our guests and other vendors, that we still have family & friends asking how we found him and telling us what an incredible job he did. DJ Paul is amazing! From the time you ask him for a quote to the days leading up to the big day he made you feel very comfortable and helpful with making those small detail decisions. He also met with us the month before to walk through the venue with our day of coordinator. Gave us a lot of in sight. The day of the wedding he was amazing. Had everyone dancing the whole night and would listen to me and my husband if we had to make small adjustments according to the time we had. I would hire this man again in a heartbeat.

High Energy DJ-Paul Peterson Just say yes. Do not hesitate or look around for other Djs. This man is the real deal. Paul was a consummate professional. Personable, punctual, organized and just a fantastic person to DJ our wedding. He knows what works and he is incredibly helpful with song styles and song selections. If you are looking to have a DJ who knows what they are doing and one you do not have to keep tabs on or worry about them in any capacity before your big day. This is that guy. Cannot recommend him enough.

Dj Paul is seriously one of the best, if not the best, DJ’s out there! His energy and positivity brightens up your entire event! We hired Paul for our wedding ceremony and reception but due to covid had to postpone. Paul worked with us every step and change on the way! During the entire event, he interacted with guests and helped create a super fun environment for all ages! 10/10 would recommend to everyone looking for the best DJ out there!

Paul was great. I took him on a walk thru of my venue with me. He asked questions for me that I didn't think of and he was so helpful. He got the reception going and had everyone dancing.

Hire him. I don't know if any amount of words is really adequate enough to describe just how phenomenal of a job Paul did as our wedding DJ and MC. Personally, the DJ was not an area of our wedding expenses in which we were allocating much of our finances towards, usually most brides invest more into photographers and florals and I was no exception to that trend. And as such, of the list provided to us by our venue (they required we select from), we went with the most budget friendly option, even if it meant that the DJ would only be mediocre. But what initially started off as just a financially convenient option, actually surpassed all expectations and any previous examples of any other DJ I've ever seen at other weddings and events. Paul was EASILY one of my FAVORITE wedding vendors I hired for my wedding. The most amazing communicator and facilitator, organizer, prompt and prepared, he was so personable, and can read the crowd so well. I really cannot praise him enough. My husband and I could not stop making remarks throughout the night at just how amazing Paul was. We never knew a DJ could be so amazing and honestly a real MVP and we will be sending everyone and anyone his way. I could not recommend a better DJ or MC for your wedding or event.

DJ Paul Peterson was an essential part of making our wedding celebration a successful one! His upbeat personality and excellent song choice kept the party going throughout the night. As both the DJ and our MC, he kept the energy high while keeping everyone informed of what event was coming up next. He kept in communication as our wedding date approached and it was comforting to walk through the plan with him as well. Thank you Paul for helping to make our big day one we will never forget!

WOW! JUST WOW! I cant not believe there are not more reviews for this God send. From the initial email till even today Paul has been the most wonderful part of my whole wedding process. He made everything so easy fro me from a day of timeline for information to rolling with the punches that come along with the big day. I had so many requests and he was just so willing and happy to help! What a wonderful man, wonderful energy and just perfection. I have no complaints what-so-ever. I am still getting compliments of his wonderful performance! Thank you so much for being everything and more that was needed for my wedding day! I cant wait to have another huge gathering to hire him again!

DJ Paul Peterson DJ'd our wedding and reception at Twin Oaks House and Gardens and wow were we ever happy we chose him. Selecting a DJ to work your wedding is usually a once and a life decision so trying to figure out if that person will be able to match the vibe you are looking to bring is tough to do from just reading reviews. When we talked to Paul initially he was easy going, organized and had a reasonable cost. He had us fill out a document that would tell him exactly what we wanted played when and we were able to work on this up until our wedding day so we didn't feel like we were missing communicating anything we wanted heard. The week before the wedding we got to thoroughly review that document with him and talk to him about what we wanted to convey to our friends and families and after that conversation we felt so confident he was going to do a stellar job. This was one less thing we would have to worry about on our special day. The day of he played all the songs we had asked for our ceremony and then our reception. He followed our timeline to a tee and didn't miss a beat(literally). He was even able to snap us a few awesome pictures and videos to tie us over before the professionals came back. The night of the reception our dance floor was packed! I have been to weddings where you had to try to force people out onto the dance floor but this was quite the opposite. I think we just about ran out of room on ours. It was an incredible sight to see our family and friends to have this much fun out there! We got so many compliments on our wedding being one of the best they had been to and Paul Peterson played a huge part in that. He brought the energy we needed to make our big day extremely successful. Thank you Paul!!! We will definitely be referring you to our friends and family :)

Paul is amazing! He kept the night going so smoothly and was so great to work with. We got so many compliments after the wedding about how fun Paul was. The music that he played really kept the party going and got everyone on the dance floor. I could not have asked for anything better.

Paul was AMAZING! I had a friend who was a retired professional opera singer for our walk down the aisle - Paul made everything seamless and even met with my friend before the event. It turned out beautifully. Paul really listened to my budgetary concerns, he was so easy to work with and clearly loves what he does and wants to provide the most positive experience. Paul does a great job outlining everything and meeting with you so he understands exactly what you want. I was completely on the fence regarding getting a DJ because of our budget. Paul had done my friends' wedding a few months before and my friend really pushed me. It was the best decision ever! I can't even imagine our day without Paul there - he made a huge difference in our wedding day. Paul is such a kind and positive person with the best energy - I would recommend him to everyone!

Before my wedding I was constantly told that your music will make or break your wedding. DJ Paul made our wedding. He was awesome with amazing, high energy and had everyone dancing all night. It even rained towards the end and he still had everyone up and dancing. Not only will he ensure you have an absolutely amazing wedding, he also has a lot of experience and left me feeling assured every time we communicated.

In short, DJ Paul is AMAZING!!!!!! I had 15+ people come up to me after the wedding to tell me that the DJ was awesome and made the night so fun. When he says High Energy DJ, he means it!!!!! Everyone wanted to dance and DJ Paul kept people on the dance floor. He know how to work the crowd and keep people pumped. He was professional, courtesy, and fun! He knows what he is doing and will make your event amazing. I am so grateful for DJ Paul as he made my wedding an amazing experience! Thanks to DJ Paul, some of my best memories from that night were on the dance floor. He has my highest recommendation.

DJ Paul was one of the best decisions we ever made for our wedding! He spent hours on the phone with us going over every single detail to make sure everything was JUST right! He was happy to provide music not only for our reception, but for cocktail hour and ceremony as well! (we had our own ceremony music, but he was ready and willing). And most importantly, he creates such a FUN atmosphere!! All of our guests LOVED him - and we had an eclectic group of guests. He even got up and taught all of our guests how to dance the Cupid Shuffle - it was incredible! DJ Paul is truly unbeatable in value, professionalism, enthusiasm and energy!!!

DJ Paul Peterson (high energy DJ) was great! He was a great DJ and kept the party going all night! I loved how detailed he was with everything. He helped us create our wedding day timeline, set up our ceremony microphones, mic’d up our string quartet, and even replayed our last song when we missed it! He even snapped some pictures of our ceremony and key highlights of our reception and created a video montage of them that he gave to us the week after our wedding for us to share with our family before we got our formal photos and videos back. He was a great DJ that I’d recommend to anyone!

DJ Paul Peterson is the best! He DJ’d our wedding at Green Gables Estate in October 2015. He was very flexible in arranging a meeting with us to answer all of our questions prior to booking. He has an awesome personality that is upbeat and positive but not cheesy like a lot of DJs out there. He provided a great worksheet for us to fill out so that every moment of the ceremony and reception is accounted for. We then had a call the Monday before the wedding to go through every detail day which made me feel very confident that everything would run smoothly, which it did! We had some very specific instrumental songs we wanted played during the ceremony and he made it all happen. When it came time for the reception he did a great job at playing songs that got both the younger and older crowds on the dance floor. DJ Paul was such a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

Paul Peterson exceeded our expectations!!! This guy can do anything! We hired Paul a year before our wedding and he met with us multiple times because we are so picky. He was extremely flexible to our needs and delivered above and beyond professional entertainment services. Our reception was indoor/outdoor (there were 2 separate outdoor reception areas) and Paul set up speakers in multiple areas and didn't charge extra for any of that.....He also wired the sound system inside the house and in another location to play softer music in a quieter area of the reception while other areas had different dance music. He made it his commitment to not only make us happy, but ensure that our guests were having a great time. Paul is very organized and played all of the songs we had listed and then some. His bedside manner as an MC was energetic and approachable. Guests usually remember only a few things about a wedding....The food and the music. Our guests all agree that Paul is a fantastic DJ and MC. Paul also communicated with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. He was in no rush to leave, and making sure the reception was running smoothly was more important to him than taking a break. That says a lot, as most other vendors require a break...which is completely appropriate, yet Paul clearly goes above and beyond. We highly recommend Paul Peterson and will use him again in the future.

DJ Paul did an amazing job! Kept the crowds dancing all night, all the music was great. We didn't have one song that we felt that would be iffy. He was reasonable, on time, and great communicator. Would definitely hire him again!

We had a destination wedding in San Diego on August 15. Geneene Thornton (Celebrations Event Planning) was our wedding coordinator who suggested Paul to us. My husband and I are extremely picky about music and we didn't want any cheesy songs or anything at our reception. I got to meet Paul before we booked him, and he was (as the name suggests) very high energy (which made me a little nervous!). Let me tell you, he was so easy to work with (we gave him a list of songs we wanted played and also wanted to give him an idea of the kind of music we liked). At the reception, he totally took on the energy of the crowd and played tons of great music and kept everyone going. So many of our guests commented on how great he was! Not only all that, but he was more than reasonably priced. I couldn't be more happy we were lucky enough to have Paul DJ for us! (He also dressed very spiffy, nice suit and looked sharp!)

Paul is absolutely amazing and I can recommend him without hesitation. From the beginning he was easy to work with, low pressure and flexible with our music genre choices. My husband and I have very eclectic taste and had several genre changes throughout the ceremony and reception and Paul was very accommodating. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. I am still on a wedding high 3 days after being married because the reception was so amazing! We had emailed multiple DJ's at first to get price quotes early in the planning stage and no matter how many times I said I will contact you when we are ready for the interview process the emails from the other DJ's would not stop and it was getting frustrating. Paul was not pushy. He was the first DJ we interviewed and did not interview anyone else after.

DJ Paul was one of the best parts of our wedding! He kept the energy up and people just loved him. I can't tell you the number of complements we received about him. He made sure our guests had fun, he was a fantastic MC, and you can see just how much he loves his job. If you need a DJ, I couldn't possibly recommend Paul more.

Our venue gave us a list of vendor we had to choose from. He came highly recommended and you will not regret it! He is so high energy and really tedious about the details so no ones name is said wrong. So fabulous. The flow of both our ceremony and reception were flawless thanks to him.
