Being on a bit of a budget, we were looking for a reception venue that allowed us to do things ourselves, but also had a full staff and bar to keep things running smoothly. In downtown Madison, that is nearly impossible to find. You’ll need to choose your own caterer, rent some tables, and buy all of your decorations, but that meant a huge savings for us. There’s no nickel and diming here – no cake cutting fees, audio/visual fees, etc. The room rental fee was very reasonable and the bar tab minimum was met easily with our 140 guests. It was the perfect balance of do it yourself and having a full experienced staff. We loved the warm, rustic feel of the venue and with the addition of a bunch of candles and bistro lights strung above the tables, it transformed a bar into a beautiful, cozy reception venue for our January wedding. Because the venue is set up for music and dancing already, it made for an awesome dance party all night long. It was truly everything we had hoped for and more. I could go on and on!

It is a great bar. The ambiance is great. I loved the lighting. It is neat to have the DJ up in the balconsy. It was great to have pool tables and games for people, especially kids...
