The venue itself was great but the officiant provided ruined the day by leaving without our documents or any signatures. Now we are having to file an amendment to our marriage certificate to change my wife's last name. I missed most of our reception dinner trying to find her to come back for the documents. I received a call the next day apologizing "if I was upset" and that was about the extent of making it right.
The photographer was nice but not a great photographer, which is fine because they told us a couple of days before the wedding that the digital files would cost an extra $850.
Again, the venue was cool, but make sure that you have someone of your own to take pictures and chase around their staff to get what you paid for.
We had a wonderful time getting married on the High Roller! The staff was very accommodating and the views were amazing! We made sure to have the ceremony at sunset and the results were beautiful!
Overall everything went well, but it helps that we were quite laid back. We got married in Nov. 2018. The venue didn't do a good job of preparing for our ceremony, and their internal communication is pretty bad. We had booked with plans to get married at sunset, but because of their lack of preparations, we missed it by a bit. This is after going in earlier in the day to review everything with them and their assurances that everything was ready.
In reality, when our party was all present, we went up to a bar area and gave us drink tickets. Turns out those were for the champagne, but no one had told the bar that a wedding group was coming through. They could have had the drinks ready for us, but instead we had to wait while the poured and distributed the drinks. Keep in mind it wasn't only our group in the room at that time. Luckily, our minister took charge and did an amazing job of pulling things together.
We had to take our drinks up ourselves, then figure out what to do with them while we got the group photos on the green screen. That was definitely not worth the time, and it further delayed us.
Once we were finally on the High Roller, things went well. Syncing my phone to the bluetooth speaker went just fine, and the view was really amazing. Our minister did a fantastic job, and the photographer was also on time and did great. They both hopped off after a beautiful ceremony, and we had another round for toasts.
Overall, it worked very well and we were both very happy, but I could see a couple getting very frustrated and upset that things weren't smooth. I would do it again though, I just would have liked to know to expect this going in.
I recently had my wedding ceremony on the High Roller. I did all my planning with Alexis through email as I am Canadian. She was fantastic and made the whole process a breeze from start to finish. We were comfortable with 32 people in our pod plus the officiant. I had many guests worry about heights and claustrophobia but when the event came they all said it was great. Our officiant was a very nice man that kept it short and sweet. I would recommend this entire experience a million times over.
My husband and I were married in at the High Roller for a surprise wedding. We rented a pod for our wedding and held the ceremony in the pod as it rose to the top (500+ feet) with the kiss at the top (and luckily at sunset). The sales reps and supervisors at the High Roller were very accommodating and helped with the surprise. They do have wedding options available that include campaign toast, etc. Although we didn't use a "wedding" option, the reps were very receptive to our needs. For the reception, we held it at one of the venues at the Linq attached. I would recommend this venue for a small and unique wedding experience.
