Amazing menu, phenomenal staff and service! They went above and beyond expectations and the food was outstanding!

From start to finish, Highlights was brilliant. Cody, the General Manager, was a great communicator and made us feel like a million bucks when we came in to taste. She handled all our questions and concerns superbly and we were so sorry when she left the company, but Terri, the owner and chef, did an amazing job for us. A lot of our guests were coming from out of town, so we wanted to make sure our menu reflected New Orleans' unique food landscape, and that's exactly what we were able to do. Lots of people told us ours was the best meal they had their entire time in the city. We had to make little alterations all the way up to the day-of, and Terri was wonderfully flexible and put us at ease. To us, the perfect vendor provides a top-quality product and puts you at ease so you can focus on the other 8,000 things you've got to think about. That's what Highlights did for us. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Highlights catered our daughter's wedding reception last weekend. They were fabulous!! Our guests raved about the delicious food. Many said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. It was beautifully presented as well. Cody and Terri are delightful to work with. Their attention to detail and pleasant personalities set them apart. I knew Highlights was going to be a good option from the first time I laid eyes on their menu. Their prices are great, their selection was impressive, and their customer services was very personal. Yet, our expectations and desires were quickly surpassed with our first tasting and once we started working with the Highlights team! Our walk through at the venue proved that they had a great vision of what I wanted and they were very willing to assist with any additional requests (in our case grills for an oyster guy and additional beverage stations). Their food has exceptional variety, which gave all of our guests many options. The display was gorgeous! Many of our wedding guest/"uptowners" that attend way too many weddings a year commented time and time again throughout the evening that our food display and selection was easily the best they had seen in years. My husband and I also frequent many weddings, and, although we may be biased because it was our own wedding, were in awe of the bountiful display and how delicious every single option was. Cody was so pleasant to work with and was so helpful before, during, and after our wedding. Their attention to detail was so noticeable all the time, even by the beautiful basket they prepared for us to return to the hotel which included champagne, Sucre chocolates, and much, much more. I am so thankful to the Highlights team for an unforgettable experience and would recommend their services to the bride looking for a menu that will be much more exciting and diverse than your average New Orleans wedding fare.

I tried Highlights Catering at a Bridal Show and their food was delicious! I decided to use them for a Bridal Shower for a friend. The prices were great, the food was delicious and the delivery was on time! I look forward to future business with Highlights!

Highlights catering did such an outstanding job catering our wedding! We had a large wedding at the New Orleans Museum of Art. This venue can prove to be a bit tricky because there is no kitchen. Highlights had no problem adapting to the venue. In fact, they had no problem with any request that we made. They were one of the best vendors we hired because they were such professionals and such a pleasure to work with. And the food!!! Oh my goodness! So many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had! One of our older, New Orleans-bred aunts even said it was the best shrimp and grits she had ever tasted! Further, their spread was beautifully executed. I would highly recommend them for any event.

We had a specific vision for the food at our wedding at Generations Hall in New Orleans -- to setup Jazz Fest-style booths that served different cajun classics in portable bowls and dishes so our 200 guests could grab food and mingle. We had tried previously working with a couple different caterers before we found Cody and the team at Highlights, and none seemed adaptable to or excited about our vision. Cody immediately got it and was on board. They improved on our original menu ideas and manned 6 different stations at the event. Everyone raved about the food during and after the evening and I had several people ask "how many caterers did you have to bring in for that?" It was just one. Cody was more than just a catering contact, she was part of our wedding team and really critical in pulling everything off. Amazing service, delicious food and flawless execution (and it was affordable). The passed appetizers during the cocktail attire were perfect. I've had at least a dozen people tell me the shrimp and grits were the best they'd ever had. I can't recommend Highlights enough. They were perfect.

I used Highlights Catering for my engagement party and I could not have asked for better service. They were very helpful in helping me stay within my budget while having delicious food. I was also able to hire a few servers for my event through their company. Having Highlights made this whole event less stressful to me since I did not have to worry about anything regarding food or service. I will be using them for my wedding and I would definitely recommend Highlights to everyone!
