I can say with certainty that I could NOT have had such a beautiful wedding day without Sherryln and her staff. Planning a wedding is challenging enough, but planning one during a national pandemic was enough to make me pull my hair out. Sherryln is professional, prompt, and advocates for her client to have the day that they have been envisioning. In addition to helping get everything set up leading up to the event and the day of, she took care of me (the bride), make sure I ate and was hydrated, and did whatever she could to keep me calm through the whole process - and made sure that I sat down and enjoyed my day instead of thinking about things that she had more than covered. As if that wasn't enough, as I was getting dressed for the ceremony, the zipper on my dress BROKE. Before I even had time to panic, Sherryln made a needle and thread appear and literally sewed me into my dress. She literally saved the day, and I am so grateful. She was the budget and timeline guru through the planning process, the vendor coordinator extraordinaire, and her creativity helped me to have the experience that I wanted on in a cost efficient way. She made sure everything ran smoothly through the reception, ceremony, and reception, and there is no one else I would have wanted to bring me through such a special day. HIRE. HER. Sherryln was amazing through the whole process! I had a lot of the planning done, but she came on the scene the last month before the wedding and helped ease my mind and do the leg work of coordinating contracts and the rehearsal and wedding ceremony. Charlie and I are so grateful!!!

Sherryln and Highly Favored Events helped to make my October 2015 Wedding day perfect. From organizing the vendors to making sure the ballroom was decorated, leading the bridal party during rehearsal, the wedding and during pictures, she made sure it was perfect. We had a couple instances that could've been easily disasters however; Sherryln and her staff handled them with poise and professionalism. For instance, it was a bit chilly outside, the wedding started late due to a miscommunication with the officiant, as the bride, I wanted to cry. Sherryln and her staff managed to keep me and our guests calm while managing to get the officiant there within record time. Thank you Sherryln for your attention to detail, keeping me on track by providing deadlines, trouble-shooting and keeping a calm spirit, our day was absolutely beautiful. I used Highly Favored events for my August 2014 wedding. Sherryln was extremly accomodating to my busy schedule for meetings, was well organized, helped me think of things I thought I already covered and always sent me gentle reminders when needed (Brides tend to get busy!). What I loved most was how she did everything in her power to make sure I was calm and not panicked. Sherryln and her staff are warm, friendly and laid back which helps set the tone for the the Bride, Groom, party and family. There were a couple of instances where their problem solving was so quick, I didn't even know anything was wrong (like the Groom/Best Man forgetting the rings!). Another great example of how the team was quick to react was with my florist on my wedding day. The vendor showed up with candle holders that were not what we discussed nor what I paid for therefore I told her to stop what she was doing when I arrived at the venue. Unfortunately that left my willow branch centerpieces bare with no candles. As I continued to get ready for my day, Highly Favored quickly worked with the florist behind the scenes for an alternative solution, took all of the extra flowers (glads) she had and inserted them in the vases to give the tables and centerpieces some life. While it was not ideal to not see my original vision, I was happy to know that the team reacted and made a bad situation better. I am sure there are many more things that Highly Favored did for us that day, but because they were such quick-thinkers, I will probably never know.
