She was so supportive, kind, a hype women, attentive to the needs of my family and just all around a wonderful addition to my wedding team. Hilary was a wonderful photographer!! We had a very small ceremony (due to COVID) and Hilary went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and safe, while getting us the photographs (and preserving the memories) we wanted. The final images were gorgeous! I would strongly recommend her for any ceremony, big or small.

Hilary was an incredible photographer to have for our pandemic mini-mony. She was very responsive and had a great plan to work with whatever restrictions we had. She was fun and gave good direction during our shoot. We are so pleased with our beautiful photos.

Hilary has done so much to help my fiancé and I make a decision on our wedding during these crazy Covid times. We originally had planned to get married in VT this October and with the help of her knowledge of the NH/VT event restrictions we had the chance to postpone the big event till next October 2021 early in the summer which helped us rebook all the vendors. We can’t wait to celebrate the big day next year and have her document the event. Hilary took amazing engagement photos and it was so easy for us to take these photos with her. She is open for any type of situation and gives her honest opinion on all situations. We would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a photographer in the New England area.

My partner and I decided to elope in NH so that we could have our most important people join us. We knew we wanted to find someone who was really going to click with us and understand our vision for the day which was "Nothing fancy, just love." From our first email with Hilary we knew we had found the perfect photographer for our day. She was hilarious, open, and completely understood what we were looking for. When we told her that we both suffer from chronic pain issues she assured us that we would go at our pace and only do the shots we wanted. She made every aspect of booking her as easy as possible. On the day of she arrived with an entire plan and list of areas on the property we would take photos and planned it so it was as minimal physical effort and strain as possible. She was so reassuring that any anxiety just melted away. She captured absolutely every important moment of the day and put together the most incredible sneak peek video that had us literally bawling tears of joy the next day in a Target parking lot. Our photos have turned out incredibly with every ounce of joy we felt coming through every picture. Hilary is truly an amazing photographer and human and you will not go wrong having her be a part of your special events. Thank you so much Hilary!

Hilary was absolutely amazing! She was recommended to us by another photographer that was already booked for our date and I am SO GLAD we found her. She was able to put my husband and I at ease during the planning process and was quick to respond to emails. After panicking the Monday before the wedding that we wouldn't have enough time to capture all the moments I wanted, she graciously offered to add on additional time to make sure we fit everything in. The day of the wedding she was so much fun to work with. We both have large families so I know it was a bit chaotic at times for her (especially because my husband kept wandering off to greet guests haha) but she managed the group so well and everyone commented on how great she was. She sent 10-12 photos to us a few days later and they're all amazing. I can't wait to see the rest of our photos but I'm sure they will be fantastic!

I don't even know where to begin...HILARY IS THE BEST!!! Her website profile drew us in with her goofy "about me" and we knew she was the perfect fit for our wedding because she truly shows how passionate she is about photographing love stories! We first met her for our engagement photo session last October and we felt so comfortable with her right away. She is not afraid to get down and dirty for an amazing photo shot if she sees an opportunity and the photos came out gorgeous! When our wedding day finally came around on 10/10/2020 she was there right at the beginning and was so cheery and incredibly helpful the ENTIRE day! She was basically our second wedding coordinator and helped both my husband and I so much throughout the day getting ready and we truly felt we are a part of her photography family! Can't wait to get the rest of our wedding day photos but the sneak peek photos are absolutely amazing. She is a wonderful photographer, organizer, personal advocate, and an even more amazing person!!! I cannot recommend her enough to anybody that is looking for a truly special photographer who will capture not only the most important memories of your life but also will capture your heart! HILARY IS AMAZING! We felt so lucky to have her as our photographer for the best day of our life! She was amazing to work with leading up to our wedding day (engagement pictures, checking-in, coordinating timelines, etc.) as well as on the day itself. Her experience as a wedding photographer definitely showed with how diligent and organized she was. On the day of our wedding she made sure that everything went smoothly and ALL of our photo requests were captured. She had a vision for each of the photos and they were all incredible! If you are looking for your wedding photographer, look no further! I knew I wanted Hilary to photograph our wedding before my husband and I were even engaged. Not only does she know her craft, but she is an outstanding human being. She truly cares for her clients. On our wedding day, it brought me comfort having Hilary with us, making sure we were eating enough, breathing enough (you’ll understand on your special day) checking in with us, and helping us keep to our schedule. We loved having Hilary as our wedding photographer! We did the Oxford Package which included two photographers and two videographers. We loved working with both Hilary and Shawn and were super happy with our wedding photos and video! We'd definitely recommend getting the package - it included everything we needed at a great price.

It’s never easy to invite a perfect stranger to capture the love between you and your fiancé with their camera. But within minutes of meeting Hilary at our engagement session (which she graciously accommodated at short notice about 2 weeks before the wedding itself), all semblance of awkwardness and tension was defused, as we felt completely at ease and comfortable posing for her lens, and we couldn’t have been happier to have her photographing the wedding itself. Hilary’s photography skills are top-notch; she has an excellent eye for detail and sense of how to best use the environment to capture the perfect shot. We had the bad luck of having rain on our wedding day, but Hilary expertly turned lemons into lemonade and used the setting to our advantage, utilizing water reflections to take some truly phenomenal photos that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to get. Her logistical skills are excellent as well; on the wedding day, she quickly and deftly wrangled the family and wedding party for a set of fun and perfectly-composed group photos, and otherwise slipped into the background of the ceremony and reception to capture the best moments of the day. We would without hesitation recommend Hilary to anyone—and in fact we’ve done so, as we had the privilege to catch up about a year later at the wedding of a friend.

We met Hilary last year when she photographed a wedding in which I was a bridesmaid, so when it was time for us to choose a photographer, we already knew that she was a fabulous person who did amazing work! She more than lived up to our expectations with her creativity, organization, sense of humor, and big heart. When we decided we wanted to have our engagement shoot in our apartment, Hilary had the great idea to turn our cookie baking into a flour fight, resulting in some hilarious and adorable photos (including some with our perplexed cat). At our wedding, she put everyone at ease and fit right in with our pack of weirdos, was more than capable of wrangling our big families, and based on the (fabulous) final photos, understood exactly what we wanted captured from our day - lots of candid shots of our favorite people celebrating. Hilary is amazing. She and her bag of tricks are so incredible! Not only were our photos some of the most beautiful pieces of art I have ever seen, but she captured so much; so much love and happiness and all of the special moments I would have missed had it not been for her. Hilary was not only going to photograph our special day but take our story on an adventure. Our shoot started with capturing our vows outside along with our dog Tyson. Hilary was amazing with Tyson! She then took us to a covered bridge followed by an old town library. Our night ended at the top of a waterfall where Hilary had us dancing, laughing and crying. Hilary asked us to wonder out further across the rocks in the water to simply talk to each other about how we were feeling becoming husband and wife, enjoy the moment. The night was sealed with a kiss as dusk settled in. We couldn't be more thankful to have met Hilary, having her be the one to capture our love story, what a blessing! <3

Finding the right wedding photographer was a top priority for my husband and I, so we interviewed 5 photographers before we decided Hilary was the perfect fit for us! Something that really stood out to us about Hilary was how it felt like we were chatting with a friend (even though we had a list of 20+ questions we asked her) and how knowledgeable she was about the ins and outs of shooting a barn wedding. Once we decided Hilary was perfect for us, we began the online booking process – which Hilary has streamlined and made extremely efficient. She promptly answered my questions on the contract and made this process a breeze for my husband and I who were living in Hawaii at the time. Hilary even worked with us to schedule a family photo shoot in place of our engagement shoot the day after our wedding before we flew back home – in the middle of her busiest month of the season! Fast forward to the weeks leading up to the wedding – Hilary sent out a couple of questionnaires to get us thinking about who we wanted photos with during the wedding and any specific shots we didn’t want to miss. It was helpful but not overbearing at all! Hilary referred back to these lists during our wedding and asked us if we wanted to step away for a few moments to grab some of those shots we said we wanted – we did it and we do not regret it one bit! Those are some of our favorite photos already! The day of the wedding Hilary arrived at our venue early, while they were still setting up, to investigate and scope out the best areas for family photos and some other details. This set us up for success the day got rolling because she was prepared to make suggestions and help guide us along for the rest of the day. Hilary followed the timeline we discussed but we also never felt rushed. My husband and I both noticed that she was firm enough to keep the timeline rolling but also wasn’t rude and pushy toward us or our guests. It was an excellent balance and allowed us to enjoy our day instead of stressing about the schedule. I personally loved that throughout the day she would show me quick glimpses of the photos she was capturing! Hilary has a background in wedding planning and it definitely shows through even in her role as a photographer! My husband and I are certain we made the best choice for our wedding photographer. Hilary not only captured the joy of our day, but she also reminded us to slow down and enjoy the day and each other while we were in the moment. She was so attentive to me and surpassed my expectations in every way! I cannot say enough how much we loved working with Hilary! She was well worth the investment and the peace of mind to work with a true professional! I promise you will not regret booking with Hilary!

Hilary was amazing and knew exactly what to do and when. She was flexible and listened to our ideas, and was very professional. We had nothing to worry about with her, which made the experience that much better. Oh and did I mention her photos were just perfect? She is a true master of her craft!

Amazing, awesome, incredible, professional but not in any kind of stuffy way... so easy to work with, remembers, and reminds you, to be in the moment, notice the small details and take a minute to breath and soak it all in ♡♡♡♡ I cannot say enough Hilary... she was the photographer for my daughters wedding in September at The Barn on the Pemi and she made the day extra perfect. My daughter adores her and is so appreciative that Hilary had them stop and take a moment alone to check in with each and soak in the beauty and love that surrounded them. Hilary was professional and personal, making the day feel less daunting and more fulfilling overall. She captured not just photos, but emotions through those photos. (Thankfully she didn't capture all my stress!) Hilary was downright amazing to work with. My husband and I have never had professional pictures taken before and Hiliary made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Hilary is all I could have hoped for in a photographer. We absolutely loved her. I saw her work soon after getting engaged, and after finding a venue and a date, I contacted her immediately. She did our engagement photos and made us feel so at ease. The day of the wedding, she and her second photographer (shout out to Sarah) were wonderful. Something especially meaningful to me was Hilary's ability to work with and understand my family. My brother is autistic and wasn't able to stay very long. Not only did she understand and work around his availability and patience, she got a family photo that's priceless to us. The photos of my husband and I (we've only seen the sneak peek photos so far), have been amazing so far and I feel confident that all of the rest of the photos will be just as stunning as the ones we've seen. Ladies and gents, stop your photographer search here! Hilary was a dream come true to work with. If I had it to do over, I would choose her every time. The process of choosing any vendor is stressful, but for me the photographer was the most important, because those pics will last a lifetime. I started my search looking through photographers in my price range with high ratings (which Hilary has in spades!), and I browsed through their work to make sure their style suited mine. The first thing I noticed about Hilary's work was how versatile her style was - and her photos were equally amazing regardless of style! I had no idea what the going rate for photographers was when I started the process, but after my own exhaustive search and getting recommendations from friends, I learned that Hilary's pricing is very reasonable (definitely on the low end of the spectrum) for her quality of work. There may be cheaper photographers out there, but odds are they won't provide nearly the same personal investment in your day as Hilary will. From the start of our experience with Hilary, she was so much funand put my husband at ease during our engagement shoot. Neither of us felt very comfortable showing affection in front of a camera, but at the end of the shoot we were giggling and kissing like it was totally natural for us! She has an amazing eye for capturing impromptu masterpieces - even though she was familiar with the location of our engagement shoot, she was still finding gorgeous new scenery to photograph. During the wedding she was an absolute lifesaver. She kept me from having a stress-induced meltdown, and she was so experienced with the flow of weddings that she was able to answer tons of the "wedding coordinator" type questions we had. She was so much fun at the wedding that she truly felt like one of our guests - and we were so sad when she had to leave at the end of the night!! The photos from our wedding were absolutely stunning, and friends and family cannot stop talking about how fabulous she was. Go ahead and check the photographer off your to do list, because you've just found the best around!!!

Hilary was such an integral part in our perfect day. She created the exact experience we wanted, and captured each and every moment perfectly - all in the freezing cold and rain! She's got an incredible eye for detail, and creates magic with her shots. She really captured who we are in the pictures, and melded or vision for our day with her out-of-this-world artistic skills. My husband and I recently got married and we are beyond happy that we went with Hilary Colleen Photography to capture our special day. Hilary is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I hired Hilary for our October 15th wedding. Our package came with engament photos,which had given us a chance to get to know Hilary and how she photographs. She made us feel SUPER comfortable, when we actually felt really awkward posing in front of the camera. When it came to the wedding day, she again made me feel so comfortable and had a lot of good advice. During the reception when my bussle wouldnt stay up and everyone was stepping on my dress, she took our one of her bobby pins, and used it to pin my dress in place..AMAZING and genius :). The second best part of working with Hilary was her suggestion to hire Oxford Media Films for our wedding video. They have a package deal that combines the photo and video and it was SO WORTH IT!!!! The reason the two have paired up is because they work so well together, and after my wedding day I totally get it!!! They already had their groove down so they knew what to expect from each other. Who needed what shot, the photographer did not get in the way of the videographer because they have worked together so many time it was harmony! I felt at ease being around them on my wedding day because there was no tension and all positive vibes from them. If I had to do it all over again I would hire them both in a heart beat!!! So in a nutshell, Hilary is seriously THE BEST wedding photographer I could have ever imagined. Not only is her work SO BEAUTIFUL but she is just the sweetest person who will make your wedding day even better than you expected. Hilary was such a joy to work with! My fiance and I hired Hilary for our engagement photos. She is a true professional and is amazing at her job. What an absolutely incredible experience with Hilary and Sarah at our wedding. If you're looking for the complete package....this is it, people. Now I understand the photo-world term 'investment'; participating with professionals in their creative element, experiencing their commitment to their craft...it's a beautiful thing. We knew that we wanted a photographer with a creative flair (finding the beauty in the moment, rather than posing portraits with forced smiles). As explorers, we sought out someone adventurous and easy-going. As an artist, I sought out someone whom could capture the details of our day (a memory captured on film). As realistic adults, we were also seeking someone whom would work with our limited budget (she has a variety of photo packages and worked with us to find the best option for our event). We found these things (and so much more) in Hilary. Both she and her fabulous second shooter (Sarah) went out of their way for 'the shot'; from hiking a mountain peek, literally getting all up in a tree, then all down in the tall grass, even holding my parasol while I got strapped into a zipline (...o yes)....now THAT is dedication. Their sense of humor and appreciation for all things quirky and nerdy made *everyone* feel comfortable while flooded with emotions (I'm usually extremely self-conscious, but these ladies made me feel so at ease and comfortable in my own skin....and a corset). Collected, organized, imaginative, thoughtful, resourceful, experienced, ingenious, punctual, and certainly flexible. Our album preview made me gasp, absolutely brilliant compositions (framing, lighting, angling...AHH! I love it!). We're so thankful to have been able to work with this skilled professional.

Hilary was easily the best investment we made for our wedding. We looked around at a multitude of photographers, but once we saw Hilary's portfolio we were immediately sold. Where do I begin with my review for Hilary? Finding a photographer for your wedding at a reasonable price is no easy task. I searched for hours through websites and reviews trying to find a photographer who could capture each candid moment while at the same time coordinate pictures for my large and modern day family. When I came across Hilary's website- there was no longer any doubt in my mind who I wanted to photograph my big day. So far, my husband and I have only seen the sneak peak photos, but can't say enough about how much we love them. From the moment we met Hilary I knew she was going to be a great fit- her down to earth personality will make you feel at ease on your wedding day, but at the same time Hilary knows how to get things moving along and be efficient with the picture taking process. If you're looking for a photographer, stop now- and book Hilary. You will not regret it. Hilary was a blast at our wedding- even staying an extra half hour to capture our exiting moments- dancing and smiling the whole time. Hilary also captured my sister's big day back in June- and she has become quite well known in our family. I went looking for a wedding photographer, and what I found was a friend who happened to take our photos :)

My wife and I used HilaryColleen for our wedding at the end of August. We were more then happy with the way our first few photos came out and the way that Hilary treats her clients. She does an absolutely amazing job taking pictures, but the overall experience was great. She will go above and beyond to get that perfect shot and I would recommend her to any of my friends or family if they need a photographer. Also, she's not afraid to roll up her dress and get in the water to take a beach picture at our request! We can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. Hilary was absolutely amazing, as is her photography! She was very easy to contact and work with, and she made the flow of the wedding day very easy. She was full of helpful suggestions and very down to earth. She was breaking it down with us at the reception and made everything very comfortable. She posted a sneak peak of our photos and they look incredible...I can't wait to see the rest of my album! Her website explains everything to the detail and she was nice enough to contact me when I had told her I was interested in using her, and let me pick my photography package before she (rightfully so) raised her prices. I loved working with her so much that I would be willing to go back home just for professional pictures.

I honestly can't say enough about how much I loved having Hilary photograph our wedding. We first met with Hilary for a chat and arranged our engagement session and it was all so easy. She put both me and my husband at ease and made it such a fun experience, we knew after our engagement session that she was going to be so fun to have around at the wedding. On the wedding day Hilary was so nice to have around, she made sure we had water & champagne! She allowed us to have so much fun and really captured our personalities and our wedding party. We loved our engagement pictures & we have seen our sneak peak for our wedding day pictures & we already love them. Hilary is great at getting the pictures to you quickly! I could honestly keep saying our awesome Hilary is over and over again. If you are looking for a photographer I could recommend Hilary more!!

This gal should not call herself a professional. The pictures were washed out, not well designed, blurry, many sun spots and way too much useless information in the compositions (peoples backsides, bride's face hidden in many, no real attempt at guest shots, her group shots of the wedding party were so fuzzy and far away you can hardly see the faces..just a point and shoot approach. Our guests luckily sent us fill in shots and were better focused and in many cases way better in composition. Such a huge disappointment for us all!

I recently got married on Sept 13,2014 at Searles Castle in Widham Nh. As every bride knows it's very difficult to find all your vendors. Our photographer was extremely important to us even more so since we were not doing a videographer on the day. We had a set budget and were trying very hard to stick with it. We called a million different places and we were not having any luck, nobody felt like the right fit for our day. Until someone referred me to Hilary. I called her office in hopes she would still have this spot in sept open since it's peak season and very difficult to get vendors most of the time. We spoke on the phone for a while and I instantly knew she would be the perfect fit! I didn't even have to go and meet her first I just knew over the phone. She worked with our budget and made me feel very relaxed about the situation. It was like a weight had been lifted off our shoulders we finally found a wonderful photographer! We went over every detail I wanted around the castle and the day of we got some unexpected rain all day. Hilary changed up all our plans we had been going over all year. She did everything in the castle and got the most beautiful shots I could have ever imagined. She defiantly had to change her whole day around the rain and did fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend Hilary to any new bride looking for the perfect fit as well. I received all my photos within a month of the wedding and they came out simply amazing! Thank you again Hilary.

I would highly recommend Hilary to anyone looking for a Wedding photographer. She was so amazing! She got the most artistic and creative shots that I have seen of any wedding prep and venue. Her shots of the wedding were fantastic even though the lighting and other obstacles must have been tough to work with. She really captured the "feel" of the ceremony in every picture. The family photos are great and were "painless" even for our large group shots. At the reception, she got fantastic pictures of all of the wedding party and especially the Bride and Groom. When we were first looking for a photographer, I was concerned more about price and my wife concerned about getting great quality pictures. After quite a bit of searching for photographers, we learned about Hilary from a friend and decided that we should meet with her. Hilary's greatest asset, aside from her amazing photography skills, is he calmness and sense of order. Hilary was great to work with! We found Hilary Colleen Photography on theknot.com, and after checking out several others, we decided she was definitely the right fit. We were correct in our instincts- as soon as she arrived on the morning of our wedding, she put everyone at ease. She fit right in and guided us to get great photos without rushing us, but still keeping everything on track with all of our family and friends. Our photos are beautiful, and we are very happy! Even now, long after the wedding, we continue to remember Hilary's kindness. She is truly a gem.

Hilary made our photo-shoot fun and relaxing. We laughed and joked the entire time. She made both Corey and I feel at ease and felt that she was giving the best attention that she could. She is worth every penny I spent on her. With good sometimes there is bad. I put the blame 100% on myself. I did not feel beautiful in my photos and neither did my fiancé. Besides quality of photos, the main thing I was looking for in a photographer was someone who I could be comfortable around. After I saw some reviews that recommended Hilary's price, artistic quality, and her easy-going personality, I knew that I wanted her as my first choice photographer. My husband-to-be at the time was not so sure, so we scheduled a meeting one day in Keene. After that, he was as sure as I was. Hilary naturally fit into our candor and made us feel comfortable being ourselves even when we were trying to be all cutesy in front of the camera. I couldn't be more pleased with how she worked in natural light in all our nature-loving locations from our engagement shoot at the Quabbin to our wedding at Loon Mountain. She remembered to capture every detail with her natural artistic eye. All of our photos came out beautiful. My parents were particularly pleased with how quickly they were completed with formals because then they got to enjoy their cocktail hour. She was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with the day. Our event coordinators were amazing, but I knew that if there weren't I could have always asked Hilary for help with anything. When you hire her, she becomes more than just your photographer. She is your enthusiastic friend, confidant, and supporter of your relationship.

I used Hilary as my photographer for my April 5, 2014 wedding. I moved to NYC three weeks before my wedding and Hilary was always available to deal with my crazy schedule. I requested a specific shot of the look on my husband's face for the first time he saw me walking down the aisle and she completely nailed it. It's as if she knew the moments that I wanted to be captured from my wedding even before I even did. Hilary is absolutely great to work with and I will definitely use her again for any future portraits.

In our search to find the perfect photographer, we emailed 4 or 5 different people. The first to respond was Hilary. She was very quick to respond and had some funny news to report as well. She had actually gone to high school with my fiancé now husband. We had no idea before her email and were very excited to meet with her. She was incredibly professional and super sweet. We met her at a local restaurant and got right into the consultation. She asked us all the important wedding questions (like what was the theme and the colors, how many guests) and showed us some amazing sample albums and gallery blocks. (all photos that she had herself taken) We were so impressed, we knew that she was our photographer. (Keep in mind we did not hire her just because my husband knew her, she really is amazing.) We had our engagement session with her in April and could not have been happier with the results. My husband and I are nerds and our wedding theme was literature. We tied our engagement photos in by having them set at our local library. (we also threw in some Doctor Who references too, Hilary happens to be a fan as well.) Hilary put us at ease and just told us to have fun. It never felt too posed or unnatural. We laughed the whole time. For our wedding in May she was even more amazing. She came with her second shooter, Sarah, who was also a wonderful person. They brought umbrellas as it was going to rain. I could not have been happier as I did not plan for that. Our whole wedding was indoors. We did have to have some pictures taken outside in the gorgeous garden. Hilary came to shoot us girls while we got ready and laughed at me as I put on all my makeup and made the fish face to get my bronzer just right. ;) Hilary and Sarah took some of the most beautiful shots I have ever seen of a wedding. She made everything even more perfect than it already was. She was professional and friendly all at the same time. She never made us feel like she was pushing us to be somewhere at a certain time. She just let everything happen as the night went on. I can not say enough nice things about her. I have told many people to use her. Her prices are so reasonable for all that you get. We got 3 albums, one for us and one for each of our parents. She picked out some truly amazing photos for our albums. We were given all of our photos on disc (I think she is now using flash drives) and we have over 600 to look through and print. Hilary is truly an artist and I would hire her all over again if I could.

Hilary was easy to work with from the start- answered emails quickly, met with me on the weekend and worked with a difficult venue owner. She delivered exactly what we wanted (and quickly too). We already have a CD of our images just one month after the wedding. A great plus is that the bride and groom keep the printing rights to the images (a huge plus for me). Book her as soon as you can, as your prices are increasing as she becomes more and more popular (and for good reason!, she deserves it). Even though we skipped the engagement session (husband is a doctor and we live on Long Island) the wedding photos were easy and not awkward. Hilary is a real pro.

My fiance and I found Hilary on the Knot and could not be happier! We just went to her a week or so ago for our engagement photos, and she just delivered the online album this morning, and we love them!! Not to mention, Hilary had a sneak peak on Facebook of our session within HOURS of our session for all our friends and family to see. Hilary is very easy to work with, always responds to my *many* emails, and is extremely reasonably priced compared to a lot of other photographers out there, for the same quality. She returned our online album much faster than anticipated, and it was greatly appreciate as we were very eager to see her work! Hilary even managed to photograph our very hyper and energetic dog, and the images she captured we will treasure forever. Looking forward now more than ever to have Hilary photograph our wedding!
