I am personally someone who prefers a natural, feminine look, and Hilda was able to truly capture that while keeping each look distinct! She also did a great job of coordinating my hair/make-up to my outfits Hilda challenged me to step a little out of my comfort zone for my garba make-up, and I am so happy she did!
The make up never felt heavy and stayed put throughout each of my events (even after I had danced for like 3 hours at my garba lol). I got so many compliments on my make-up and hair throughout my wedding festivities, and their work made me feel incredibly beautiful (and comfortable) the entire week ❤.
Plus It was so much fun chatting with her during the entire process because she's such a sweet and interesting person! I would love to have my hair and make up done by Hilda & Co in the future, and highly recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a hair & make up artist 🙂

Hilda was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding, because my sister-in-law told me she was the BEST for hybrid Desi-American weddings - and she was absolutely right. My (now) husband is Pakistani, so we had a traditional Pakistani reception one day and American reception the next day (+ a couple other ceremonies before/between). Hilda has mastered the hair-and-make-up styles of all the events... she was even able to help me pin my sari for my bridal portraits when my mother-in-law was unable to attend. I had to have a complete hair-and-make-up change between the Muslim and American ceremonies, and Hilda's team got me set with a completely new look in a mind-blowing 45-minutes. Hilda is quick to respond by text, Facebook, Insta, and email, so we were always able to stay in-touch about timing changes between events and so on. I highly recommend Hilda for all of the above wedding events - she and her team can do it all, so you are in good hands!

She made me look natural and fresh. JC did my hair and did not disappoint. I had three very specific, VERY different hairstyles in mind - one faux hawk, one updo, and one down - he executed amazingly. , I found Hilda. The minute I saw her online portfolio, I knew that Hilda was the artist that I could trust for my big day.
Hilda took care of our makeup, and Emma took care of our hair for both events. I cannot begin to rave about how uber talented both these ladies are! I did a makeup trial with Hilda before the D-Day, and since I was coming in from out of state only the day before, I had to schedule a last-minute appointment for the trial. Hilda was SO accommodating throughout, and squeezed in a makeup trial for me, so that I could be more at peace on the D-day. She is extremely personable, and is phenomenal at what she does. She understood my preferences, and made sure I was happy with the end result myself - rather than insisting on "in" looks for the sake of it, she made sure that the end result was a perfect combination of what I was comfortable with, as well as what she knew would go well on me. I needed a very traditional Indian bridal hairdo for my ceremony, and had a very specific look in mind for the reception. All I did was show Emma some pictures for reference, and she hit the ball out of the park! I am so impressed with her work. My sister too has only great things to say about Hilda and Emma, and we were both delighted with our looks.
I am SO glad that I came across Hilda's portfolio, and that she and Emma were available to pretty me up on my big day. If you live in the Houston area, and/or have an event in the area - please, please, hire Hilda and her team. Weddings are a big deal to begin with, and a bride really shouldn't have to deal with uncomfortable surprises on her D-Day - which is why, you need to hire Hilda and her team, and let them take care of your look for you. It is an investment that you will be glad you made!
