Hillary Gaskins has been my photographer for several years. I've watched her grow in photography and she has helped capture amazing memories of my husband and I. She makes the expe...
rience so much fun. If you do not know her she makes you feel so comfortable during your session. She knows exactly where to place you and what poses are perfect for you. She is also great at helping pick locations where the lighting is AMAZING. With weddings she gets every detail ahead of time so she is prepared for your special day. She researches your venue and makes sure she knows the area and where she's going to shoot. You never have anything to worry about as far as pictures, she's always there to capture everything! She even gave us a sneak peak of some of our pictures while we were eating dinner at our reception! She has a questionaire for the bride and groom to fill out which is very helpful for her. Not only does she get details about your wedding she gets to know you and asks questions about you and your soon to be husband. One part of it is very important and I'm glad she does it. You fill out a section of the specific pictures you want taken. That way she knows ahead of time which pictures you want on your special day. She even asks for the names of everyone to make things so much easier. She has great strategies and that's what makes a great photographer. You're left dying to know how they turned out and she spends a lot of her time editing and making blog posts for you. A lot of effort is put in from her and that's one of the best features of a photographer. I would highly recommend Hillary Gaskins Photography. She knows the ins and outs of taking photos and definitely knows what she's doing! I've NEVER been disappointed in her work. So check her out, you won't regret it!
I would just like to say that I’m very disappointed and very heartbroken in the photographer Hillary Gaskins that my sister hired to capture the moment of her wedding! A day we wi...
ll never get back! She paid $1,800 for horrible pictures that looks like someone just picked up a camera and just started taking pictures! NOT what you would expect from a professional!! What professional photographer wouldn’t get a picture of the mother and the bride?? What professional photographer wouldn’t get a picture of the father and his daughter other than walking down the aisle that wasn’t very good and 1 of them dancing that wasn’t that good? What professional photographer wouldn’t take a picture of a groom and his mother? What professional photographer wouldn’t make sure everyone is looking at the camera, that everyone’s suits isn’t sticking up in the air, hair not in the brides face, her necklace was crooked, position the bridal party in a way that they sun wasn’t in their eyes and everyone especially the bride wasn’t squinting. Out of all the pictures that she took there might be 5 or 6 ½ way decent ones. Question? Would you want your money back? If you agree please go to her website and give your thoughts so no one else will have to go through what we are! www.HillaryGaskins.com. Or go to her Facebook page and leave a comment! Feeling very heartbroken and disappointed that you put your faith in someone to capture a day that you can never get back! The pictures that my cousin took with my moms camera are 100x better Than the ones that $1,800 dollars should get you and it's so unfortunate that those are the only decent ones that we have to capture the moment of that special day for my sister and her husband And to not give a refund, try to come up with a solution, or even respond to several emails is completely unprofessional and such a waste! I encourage all seniors to save your money and find someone else to capture your special year or any special events! This review is not meant to be mean or malicious, but to simply save everyone their time and money! I don't want anyone to have the same experience as we did!
