15 + years of experience documenting weddings throughout the U.S. allows me to use an instinctive “sense of the moment” that is full of romantically authentic and spontaneous images. Capturing imagery that displays natural motion and candid action are the cornerstone of my work – allowing the narrative to develop as it happens. My goal is to capture the authenticity of the moment and make it a timeless fine art creation, just for you!
Specializing in natural and timeless imagery, Hillary showcases the personalities of the couple by catching the day’s spontaneous moments. Her shots are rarely posed, always dynamic, and her approach is designed to artfully preserve the memory of your extraordinary day. Hillary takes a fine-art approach to photographing weddings, producing images with a sophisticated sensibility and capturing moments in time that can be celebrated and remembered for generations.
About the artist -
I was formally trained at the Art Institute of Colorado, and it was there that I was able to refine my technique. After art school, I moved to New York City and worked in the world of high fashion, advertising, and weddings photography, further cultivating my unique fine art style. After spending many years in New York,
I moved to Santa Barbara, California, to complete my education at Brooks Institute and worked with world renowned wedding and fashion photographers.
These experiences helped shape my wedding photography career. Being back in my home state, as a Denver wedding photographer, I am so grateful to document such beautiful and happy occasions for my clients by capturing their story and generating feelings that will endure.

Fast forward to the wedding, we chose a date in October to incorporate a Colorado fall, and our biggest request was to showcase the variety of aspen leaf colors our venue had. Hillary’s editing produced everything we could have dreamed about, and her leadership of her team on the wedding day ensured every shot was caught, from the bridesmaids getting ready through the first look, ceremony, and reception.
Following the wedding, it took us a long time to select photos for a book we received as part of the package, and Hillary continued her wonderful approach with great patience. I’d highly recommend Hillary Moore for any event.
