We did assign a veteran employee to your event to assure you were supported by someone with experience, and we provided a complimentary rehearsal to help compensate for the change. We've since hired a permanent site manager for the property who has extensive historic site private event experience. Our venues are historic house museums which allow for unique and wonderful events, but are also subject to parameters more traditional venues are not. The houses are in residential neighborhoods and so we must strictly adhere ending all events by 10pm, as detailed in our contract. We are very sorry your glasses were lost. We are open to the public during the week and while décor and leftover food are often picked up the following day, valuable personal items are the sole responsibility of the clients/vendors and should always be collected and taken home the same day as the event. We do set a high standard for ourselves and we assure you that we do take our events very seriously. We’re so sorry the event did not live up to our expectations or yours.
