Hillside Ninety-One

Located just 10 minutes off of I-65 in Hanceville, AL, Hillside Ninety-One is the perfect venue for your wedding, birthday party, quinceañera, school function, or other private event. The property displays rolling hills and a peaceful ambience with a large private barn and bridal suite. You can envision holding your dream wedding in this inviting setting. Tucked into the Appalachian Mountain foothills, this venue breaks with the trend of rustic barns, offering a modern industrial take on the barn wedding. The black and white barn was constructed in 2020 and includes 3,300 square feet of event space with 24-foot high vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams. Set amid a 30-acre farm, the outside of the barn includes a 4,000 square foot garden that overlooks wildflowers from early June through fall. The Fell House, a 1,600 square foot home constructed in 1953, functions as the bridal suite. This two-bedroom, one-bath home features a fully furnished bedroom, dressing room, living room, and full kitchen. Hillside Ninety-One is less than a forty-minute drive from downtown Birmingham and an approximate one-hour drive from Decatur. This location makes for an ideal gathering point for weddings and other events in North Central Alabama. Indoor and outdoor spaces are available for your ceremony. Our team has decades of combined special event experience, offering full planning and day-of coordination, mocktail bar, cake cut, and use of our decor as well as china, glassware, and flatware to elevate your reception.
