In 2018, we had a dream and vision to purchase a property where we could share the hospitality from our West Virginia heritage. We have made our dream a reality and we cannot wait to share Hilltop Farm with others as a space to create and enjoy lasting memories for generations to come. Our goal at HF is to make you feel like you have come home. We want everyone to belong and feel welcomed and we are looking forward to providing our family hospitality to every guest who drives through the gates!

We held a very important event at Hilltop Farm for a large group of donors. It was spectacular!! The feedback we received was so positive. Everyone loved how it felt simultaneously elegant and comfortable. The barn and grounds create many "spaces within spaces" so you can easily do pre/post event special events and/or have multiple conversation areas. The craftsmanship and care that went into creating such a beautiful venue is obvious. The only thing that outshines the venue is Mother Nature - the sunsets are truly glorious. The barn's magnificent windows mean even if it rains, your guests still get to enjoy one of the best sunsets in Northern Virginia. Ed and Sharri have such vast experience with events that no detail escapes them - which means you can focus on your event and guests. Highly recommend.

Stunning venue, but the team's handling left much to be desired. We scheduled a tour with Sharri, only to arrive and find her showing another couple around. After returning later, the tour itself was great—but the follow-up was nonexistent. She promised to send pricing and preferred vendors, yet we never heard back. That silence sealed the deal—had she followed through, we might have overlooked some red flags and booked.

Sharri & Ed thought of EVERYTHING when creating this venue!! With it being 15 min away from Dulles airport it makes it super convenient for out of town guests. It is a gorgeous mix of modern with floor to ceiling windows and barn to complement its scenery. As a couple you can rest assured that your day will go smooth with tables, chairs included and other features make it easy for set up and close down! As a caterer, they are so easy to work with and we look forward to partnering together in the years to come!!

Sharri and Ed truly exemplify exceptional hospitality from the first time I messaged them. The warmth and care they extend to their guests made me feel like family. The venue itself is nothing short of a dream! From the cement flooring adorned with the beautiful HF logo, to the abundant amount of natural light that shines into the venue, and the stunning sunset you can catch. We were lucky enough to have an early fall wedding and were able to open the grange doors for fresh air the entire reception! Hilltop is conveniently located just a short distance from IAD and DCA airports, and with hotels and a campground located within a ten minute drive, it offers easy access for out-of-town guests. Spanning over 30 acres of breathtaking landscape, Hilltop Farm truly felt like a private paradise for us and the people that mean the most to us! Cannot recommend enough!

Do not pass this review!!! I just had my wedding at Hilltop and I cannot recommend it enough- the facilities are beyond incredible- beautiful property, gorgeous interior, fabulous sunsets followed by a fire pit glow outside the shed that is a nice atmosphere for the “boys” to hang out watching their favorite sporting event when they are tired of dancing. . . bottom line, if I could do it all over again, same place 100%! Sharri, Ed and their sidekick, Steve were so wonderful and professional. All needs were taken care of with an amazing detail to attention. Any future events will be held there and I am sure all of our guests will cancel plans to attend this venue again. Don’t walk, RUN!!

This venue is stunning. For any couples that might have reservations about a barn wedding as too rustic for their taste, let me assure you that Hilltop Farm is the epitome of upscale sophistication. The barn had ample space for our large guest count, and its neutral palette made it highly customizable. Even the most minimal decor would not be too understated due to the light and bright feel of the space. Large windows reveal gorgeous backdrop of serene views. We enjoyed an amazing sunset during the reception all thanks to the venue's location. Hilltop Farm is an authentic slice of Virginia heaven!
