About this vendor
Nestled on 23 acres of rolling Devon countryside, Hilltop House is a historic Main Line estate that offers timeless elegance and natural beauty for weddings and special events. Originally built in 1894 and thoughtfully renovated for public use in 2005, the mansion features wood-paneled interiors, generous rooms with multiple entryways, and beautifully appointed spaces including the Great Hall, Library, Sunroom, Garden Room, and a light-filled foyer. The estate accommodates up to 140 guests for cocktail-style receptions or seated dinners, with flexible layouts across multiple rooms—our largest seating up to 80 guests. Outdoors, the property boasts formal gardens, apple orchards, fountains, a charming courtyard, and a market-lit covered front porch, creating countless photo opportunities and a stunning setting for ceremonies. Upstairs, a grand staircase leads to private bridal and groom suites, each with dedicated dressing areas and restrooms. Long admired as a private residence, Hilltop House is now welcoming reservations for weddings and milestone celebrations.

Hilltop house was beautiful, scenic and absolutely perfect for our May wedding. Deb and her staff were on top of everything and made the day run so smoothly my husband and I felt s...
o at ease. We never went even a moment without every single thing we needed. From the very first moment we toured the place we knew it was the venue for us. Between the gorgeous garden and 100 year old tree we had endless options for photos and even places to have our ceremony. Book them now you won’t regret it!
Hilltop House was the perfect Venue for our October wedding! The scenery is beautiful and the setup of the house is perfect for guests to mingle, eat, dance, wherever! The staff ...
and our wedding planner were particularly helpful in making all of our wedding dreams come true! We could not have been more pleased with our experience!
We had our wedding at Hilltop House and it was everything I could have imagined and more! The space is really beautiful, and it's also very unique which is what drew us to the venu...
e in the first place. Working with the venue coordinator, Sara Zalkind, was a breeze and she helped answer my many questions throughout the planning process. I absolutely loved having our wedding at Hilltop House and I can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a unique, beautiful and intimate space for your wedding!
Lovely venue! We had so many compliments from the guests on how much they liked it. We got married in the box garden and then had our reception in the house. The grounds and hou...
se are well-kept, and the view is lovely! The house layout was great for us - the flow is nice, especially between the veranda and inside (so people could be outside without feeling too separated from the dancing, etc. going on). Debbie was wonderful to work with, and helped make things go really smoothly on our wedding day!
Nice house & grounds with multiple ceremony & reception locations to choose from, indoors & outdoors. Includes a groom room & bridal suite to get ready on premises & plenty of bath...
rooms for guests. Our guests liked the food (Perfect Setting Catering is the exclusive caterer & also contracted to manage the venue). Everyone (guests & other vendors) thought the venue was pretty.
Absolutely lovely as a wedding venue. Patient staff, delicious food, beautiful grounds surrounding a beautiful estate. During Covid, the staff held everything for us. The photograp...
her and DJ both said what an amazing location we had!
The venue was simply taken out of a storybook. Whether you choose to use the secret garden out front or the open vista backyard you are truly in for a treat. This is a diamond we...
ll hidden, your own house with the added treat of having enough space set aside for the groom to get ready in as well. No excuses for him being late here. The care and love that has been put into here you can see and as Deb Diehl took me around I could truly feel this would be MY wedding and for that day MY house. A Perfect Setting indeed for those who take the opportunity to reach out and grab it. I certainly recommend the location and Perfect Setting before the rush hits for such a gem in the Devon area.
The Hilltop House is a magical place to get married. We had the ceremony out in the garden, followed by a reception inside the house itself. The dining room is small, so 100 guests...
appears to be somewhat of a maximum, but it was perfect for our wedding. The house has a staircase from which we made our entrance into our first dance and we just had so much fun the whole time. Sandy, the manager, was absolutely amazing and very accommodating with all our questions and requests leading up to the big day!
