The hotel grounds are beautiful, perfect for pictures. The hotel is clean and well maintained, great views and lovely halls/ballrooms. Our reception was held in an open area with large windows overlooking the pond. Laure Politzer was great to work with from start to finish; very responsive, knowledgeable and always professional. The food was good, presentation was nice, and the service was attentive. We had three days of family/friends, meals, gatherings, etc. and of course the wedding at the hotel and the only critic I would have is the cashier for the bar during the meal looked more like a raffle vendor due to the tickets used to purchase drinks otherwise it was perfect all weekend!

I did not have to worry about a thing. My wedding planner at the hotel took care of everything for me and mad eit very special. I had a stress free wedding. the hotel is beautiful. You will never know that a place like this exists so close to DC. I had my ceremony next to the lake and a beautoful wedding reception outside for cocktails and dinner in the Terrace Ballroom which overlooks the lake. We had a beautiful suite the wedding night along with special touches that made our day much more enjoyable. I have a busy job and it felt really good to have someone at the hotel to take care of all the details for me and help me putting everything together. I can't wait to come back for my one year anniversary! Thank you again

I loved the reception venue so much! I hardly had to worry about a thing and it was gorgeous. The only downside, my guests repeatedly had trouble booking a room with our block and ...

this issue had to be solved many times as well as the lack of a certain type of wine I had requested and my parent's table not being served wine during dinner. Otherwise, the staff was kind and considerate and I am happy with our choice!
