After a problem with our first choice for a venue, we booked the Hilton Alpharetta for our 50th anniversary celebration. What a lucky break that was! We ended up having three eve...nts at the hotel—a Friday welcome dinner in the junior ballroom, Saturday evening celebration in the Windward Ballroom, and Sunday brunch in the executive lounge. Most of our out-of-town guests also stayed at the hotel, and we booked one of the beautiful one-bedroom suites to serve as a hospitality room for guests.
After working with catering manager Janice for several months, we were set adrift when she retired ten days before our event. However, we quickly learned there was no need for concern as Jenni Brinson stepped in seamlessly to manage the events as if she had been our primary contact all along. No detail escaped her attention, and all three events were carried out flawlessly.
Every individual on the hotel staff, both those who worked the events and those who didn’t directly but interacted with our guests, demonstrated exemplary hospitality and courtesy. Our guests even commented favorably about their encounters with the exceptionally professional staff.
The facilities were attractive, well maintained and spotlessly clean. And everyone from the catering staff to housekeeping was eager to help us present our event just the way we wanted it. Two months later, guests are still talking about the delicious food that was served. Although the Hilton Alpharetta wasn’t our first choice, it turned out to be our best choice for our special events.
