Angela Bachelor, with AATD-their recommended day of coordinator, added to the team beautifully. They worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was exceptional. The location could not be more perfect. The outdoor gazebo comfortably sat our 100 guests and offered a gorgeous private setting for out ceremony. The cocktail space was beautiful right off of the gazebo, and the Great Hall could not have been a more perfect setting with their tufted walls and (surprisingly!) beautiful carpet :) Book your wedding at the Buena Vista Palace, the night was everything I couldn't have even dreamed of!

manger was so sweet, flexible and accommodating. Any question that we were asking the answers were given to is in a timely matter and were all helpful. I also got my hair and makeup done here and it was fantastic. We could not have been happier with our decision to choose the palace and will always remember the amazing experience.

saying what a unique space for a wedding, our guests were absolutely thrilled by the location and their view of Downtown Disney during dinner. Every table had their own personal view and the food was raved about. The filet and salmon were so delicious. Also, the hotel beds are heaven! Aubrey was an absolute pleasure and created such a wonderful dining event. The dessert display was beautiful and smelled wonderful. The location is perfect for anyone wanting a Disney wedding without paying the Disney price. Beautiful outdoor ceremony space, uniquely stunning reception space, wonderful catering manager and fantastic food-you will not be disappointed if you decide on a wedding here. Not to mention the bridal suite is huge and a nice touch! Thanks Aubrey for helping create the most magical night for the start of our lives together!

cation skills. I encountered one minor problem that was resolved right away. We appreciated the extensive banquet menu that the hotel offered and the ability to tailor it to our specific needs, including having the option of a selection for children. The portions are generous and all the food was served at proper temperature! There are plenty of places for a wedding ceremony at the hotel, with the lakeside gazebo being the best! We used the recommended vendors from the hotel and all were outstanding. From the elegant room décor, to the outstanding food and service (and a few surprises) we strongly recommend the Buena Vista Palace for a wedding or vow renewal ceremony and reception.

During the three different events the floor managers were excellent they came by introduced themselves and were never too away the entire time. Emily Johnson, Catering Manager, for the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa was an outstanding representative. All her recommendations & suggestions were spot on. She took time to listen to all of our needs and must haves and made them happen.. and on budget too, she was amazing. Another very important suggestion was for a day of party planner, that the hotel offers in the form of one very amazing lady , Angela Bachelor of All About The Details, Ohhh my goodness she was a life saver in a million ways. lar. The room was amazingly spacious. The housekeeping staff was attentive and the valet and desk staff was flawless. The only discrepancy was the concierge desk which was described as a waste of space by my guests. If you need help, ask anyone else in the hotel and if they don't know the answer, they will get it for you! I have one more event coming up and I know where I will be going!

as provided by the hotel including the linens were beautiful. The florist that provided the center pieces in our package was awesome and we used her for all of our flowers. The wedding coordinator recommended by the hotel was wonderful and very helpful. The food was wonderful as well. All the guests that stayed at the hotel were very impressed with the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. All our guests told us that this was one of the best weddings they have ever attended.

Our wedding had around 150 guests, most of which were from out of town. Everyone who had stayed at the hotel was beyond impressed by the hotel as well as how friendly the staff was. We were told repeatedly throughout the night that this was the best wedding our guests had ever been to, and both of us being Italian that means a lot! reason we chose the Palace. 20seven is such a unique venue, there is nothing that compares to it. I loved the fact that from the ceremony, it was only a 20 foot walk to the elevators to take the guests to 20seven where the rest of the wedding was held. It was very nice considering some of my guests have knee problems. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! My guests were very impressed. My husband and I had such a perfect wedding. We love the Palace and love Emily!

When planning a destination wedding, communication is key. Emily made herself available to every email & phone call to make sure we were both on the same page & she talked me off the "panic ledge" more than once. but even with the distance of planning, Emily was always a phone call away to make all the planning a breeze. The Gazebo was beautiful, and 20seven was so unique and special, I don't think anyone will ever forget it! We still plan on visiting the resort often and I couldn't of been more happy with the service, the food, decor, and all the extras that made it a perfect day!

My mom & I visited on average 18 venues before finally seeing Buena Vista Palace and immediately fell in love with the exceptional service the staff provided, beautiful venue options for indoor and outdoor, and they worked with our budget. The ceremony was outside at their gazebo and the reception was in the one of the ballrooms. Our wedding manager from the hotel, Emily Johnson provided first-class service and was really easy to work with on creating the perfect night. She was flexible with all the changes and worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator, Angela Bachelor, from All About the Details. As a team, they coordinated all the details and special requests and everything went without a hitch. The chef & banquet staff were incredible and it was truly a night to remember. We want to thank everyone at the hotel who made our wedding a night to talk about! Everything was perfect and the staff was absolutely amazing and incredible and if we could do it all over again, we would, but just begin our journey by visiting the BVP hotel first!

wedding facilities at Buena Vista Palace Hotel. They offer a scenic and romantic outdoor Gazebo that is next to a lake with a bridge that is well shaded by trees. For the cocktail hour, we spent a little more money to have it next to the Lakeside Gazebo in an all glass enclosed room called the Veranda. The Ballrooms are exquisite with high ceilings and are stunning before you add any decorations. We used the Great North Hall for the reception. We first met Emily, the Wedding Manager at Buena Vista Palace Hotel, while exploring various wedding venues. She spent a lot of time with us answering our many questions and showing us the facility. Emily presented a highly favorable first impression. As we continued working with Emily this past year, we found her to be outstanding in planning, organizing, discussing, swiftly communicating, and executing my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding down to the last detail. We enjoyed working with Emily, and found her always very approachable for discussion, and she was always one step ahead of us in planning. Emily also assisted us in providing names of preferred outside venders which helped tremendously. The hotel offers a Bridal Showcase where future brides, grooms, and parents or close friends come for a tasting of the hors d’oeuvres, entrees, and vegetables. They also have several preferred outside vendors who also have booths set up with samples of their work or food as well as contact information. This really simplified our search for outside vendors. From this one night, we were able to contact our event coordinator, florist, and cake decorator. They also had photographers and DJ’s present as well. The day of the wedding, Emily and our event coordinator were superb in coordinating set-up among all of the outside preferred vendors, and then orchestrating the ceremony, photos, cocktail hour, and reception all in a very organized and smooth flowing manner. Emily and the event coordinator gave us a sneak peak of the beautifully decorated ballroom, and we were speechless. The food was fabulous. The chefs outdid themselves. I especially loved the spanakopita as an hors d’oeuvre. The Parmesan Crusted Breast of Chicken, Potato Crusted Salmon, and the Grilled Tenderloin of Beef were delicious. We had guests who are quite the critics say they have never tasted such scrumptious food at a wedding. We received numerous compliments on the food. The entire BVP staff and all of our outside preferred vendors were outstanding in planning, organizing, set-up, and serving our guests. All of the pre-planning and coordination with Emily really paid off, and everything seemed to go smoothly without a hitch. We highly recommend Buena Vista Palace Hotel as a wedding venue with Emily as your Wedding Manager.

from our very first meeting to the day of my reception, he was always friendly, courteous and professional. He listened well to all of my details and wish lists, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and more to make my day even more special and wonderful. For example, while at a bridal show event at the Palace, i saw a beautiful water fountain on display and immediately fell in love with it and envisioned it behind my cake-I thought I was going to have to pay extra money to have it if it would even be available, well with one call to Ashley, he made it happen for free! Looking at some of my wedding pics and video, It' always brings a smile to my face seeing that beautiful water fountain in the background. Ashley even managed to help me find ways to cut some cost without feeling like I missed out on anything.I was so impressed when i saw the final outcome on my wedding day. More than that, my family were soooo happy with the ballroom and the lighting that brought out my decors even better and the food...everyone, including my guests, my close family members, myself and my husband were so satisfied and impressed esp with the food on how good Everything tasted (which was buffet style). I heard from several guests days and weeks after the wedding mainly complementing how great the food was and how professional all the staff members of that night were. Like some other brides have mentioned, my only regret is that I did not make the time to eat more food as I was too overcome by the joy and mingling with the guests etc. I knew from the very first time my brother took me to the palace to consider it as a reception venue that the BVP was a gorgeous hotel, but I never imagined that it would literally make all my wedding dreams come true in the way it did. One of my sisters was so impressed and inspired by the service from the Palace that she told me shortly after my wedding she has to have her wedding there at the Palace also next year. She's already met with Ashley and cannot stop praising him! I would absolutely, positively, without any reservation recommend the Buena Vista Palace hotel to any one planning on tying the knot in the future. To say I was fully satisfied with everything from the service, the location, the price, the food, the cleanliness, the friendliness and professionalism shown by all the staff members...would be an understatement! Thank you Ashley and all the staff at the BVP. You guys are simply amazing at what you do!

or so of planning, right down to the day of. We chose to have our ceremony outside at the gazebo which is so pretty and intimate feeling. We got really lucky with our weather, being that it was a late September wedding in Florida (think hurricanes, afternoon thunderstorms, etc.). There are lots of trees for shading if it's a little warm and sunny. We had our cocktail hour and reception on the 27th Floor (called 20Seven). It is absolutely stunning up there! The ballrooms in the convention area we looked at were beautiful but 20Seven was the way to go. Large floor to ceiling windows that overlook Downtown Disney, Downtown Orlando or the Disney theme parks (depending on which side of the 27th floor you're on). We found the space to be so pretty and interesting that we felt you didn't need as much decor (crazy centerpieces, etc) to distract from the room. You know when you see a pretty reception space but the carpeting is so busy or the window treatments don't go w/ your wedding colors? The coloring in 20Seven is very soft, modern and somewhat neutral. The window treatments are a soft powder blue (one of our wedding colors so that was PERFECT!) and the carpet is dark brown w/ powder blue circles. One of the best things about the 20Seven space is that your wedding reception will come with built in fireworks from either Epcot or the Magic Kingdom! I put on our invitations that after the ceremony we would have "dinner, dancing and fireworks" which I think people thought was pretty neat. The food at our reception (buffet style) was amazing. We were a little worried that it would come out as that standard, wedding buffet food but it was all really good - a big selection too! That's my only regret with this wedding - is that I didn't eat more...not because it would have soaked up alcohol or anything but because it was so good but I just picked at since I was so anxious to get up to talk with our guests and dance! With our wedding package we also got a 2 night stay at the hotel, a $100 gift cert for the spa (which was great the night before for a relaxing massage!) and a day-of wedding coordinator they chose for us who was awesome and so helpful. If I had to do the day all over again, I would absolutely choose to go with the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa and 20Seven.

day (anyone who has been in Orlando in June will know what I mean). They have great shade trees by the gazebo so you are not in the sun no matter what time of day your ceremony is. Our reception was in the England ballroom and we loved the location. The room was set up exactly how we imagined it would be. The service was great. The meals were delicious and the bartenders went above and beyond. We have received so many compliments on the food, the service and the drinks which can make or break a wedding! The bridal suite is beautiful and makes life a little easier staying there the night before. We had many out of town guests and they all complimented on the accommodations as well. We also had our rehearsal dinner the night before and it was so convenient. We arranged a breakfast brunch the morning after and every detail all 3 days went off without a hitch. I would recommend the BVP highly! Emily and her staff were professional but most of all they made you feel comfortable and relaxed. Thank you Emily for all your hard work and thanks to everyone involved in making our day perfect!

f our wedding. This was a destination wedding for us and I chose this venue because I loved the location of the gazebo by the lake for the ceremony. This was a small wedding of about 34 people and we chose 20Seven for the reception because it's perfect for a small group and the view is amazing including the fireworks. Emily provided us with a list of preferred vendors including florists, day of wedding coordinators, photograpers, DJ's, etc.to select from which was perfect since we don't live in Orlando. We were also invited to a tasting prior to our wedding which was great because it helped us to select the menu for the reception. The food was excellent, we received so many compliments from our family and friends who were very happy with the menu selections. BVP provided us with a beautiful suite with a breathtaking view and a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon. Thank you Emily and BVP for making our wedding day very special and memorable.

ent and the wait staff impeccable.;My biggest problem happened with the sales manager/wedding coordinator. Once I had booked she became very unresponsive and unhelpful. She was not accomadating to a destination bride whatsoever. For example they hold bridal showcases once a quarter where they say they invite all their preferred vendors so you can meet them and select the one you want. This is also the only way you can taste test any of the food that the hotel serves. My mom fiance and I booked tickets a rental car and a hotel to go down and pick all of our vendors. Two days before the event I found out that only about 7 vendors will be there - 2 florists 1 DJ 1 Photographer 1 Videographer 1 Invitation Designer and 1 Chocolate Fondue Specialist! I was so mad because she said their would be several options in each category! Probably the thing that made me the maddest and most upset. My fiance and I planned our last trip down to Florida about 3 months befoe the wedding. We were going to go over our final details at the hotel. he manager unfortunately had an emergency and had to go to the hospital. I was dissapointed but I know that things happen. We met with her assistant and she answered some of our questions and took our list of additional questions to give to her manager. Well we never heard back from her. Two and a half weeks later I finally had to e-mail her to get a question answered for the florist. She said...'Oh I've been thinking of you a lot.' I almost cancelled then... if we hadn't already put half down I would have. I would defintely warn you to stay away from this venue if you are not local. The room where we had the reception 20seven is a very broken up space. You dine in one area and dance in another and the bar is another. It worked for us but I can see many people hating it. For our cocktail hour all our guests were completely limited to the bar area only. It was very small and cramped. For any more than 80 guests the dining area would be very impractical because you would have to seat guests around a corner from all the action. As it was my 10 tables were set basically in a straight line with our sweetheart table at one end. Every table had a great view out the window but that isn't what they were there to see. The bartender was incredibly friendly to me but it turns out she was kind of awful to some of my guests. A few of my uncles were cut off from the bar and they were so far from drunk it wasn't even funny. The ironic thing is two of our groomsmen were so over the top drunk but I saw them at the bar several times and never without a drink in each hand. It seemed as though they would do anything so the wedding party would have fun but were trying to cut corners wherever possible (we payed based on hours not by # of drinks). They also won't let you do shots but they have no problem serving a dirty martini so keep that in mind! A week before the wedding when we figured out we had a little extra money in our budget we tried to an an hour on to the end of our reception but were told we couldn't extend past 11:00 p.m....something that we were never informed of before.
