Hilton Chicago Oak Lawn

My husband and I got married at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn. It was magical. The food was the best hotel banquet food we've ever had other than at an event at the Four Seasons in San Francisco. This venue is a hidden gem for a fraction of the price you'd pay in Chicago. Everything was done on time and on budget, and there was no nickle and diming. Angela in the events office made sure everything was pulled off with style and grace; she was so on top of things we didn't need to hiring a wedding planner. They had ample options for customizing everything just the way we wanted, from food and drink selection to linen colors to lighting. The all-inclusive package covered everything under the sun -- all we had to do was hire a DJ and photographer. The included cake was delicious and looked awesome! We used two of their ballrooms (Grand Ballroom and the Astoria) for our ceremony and reception, and they graciously included a spare room for crying children. All of the guests were very impressed by the hotel. It has ample parking and is easy for guests coming from Midway Airport. The free shuttle was great; it also took people who wanted to head downtown to the Orange Line! Kids had fun at the pool, the restaurant in the hotel lobby is very good (as well as their room service), and we were very pleased with the fitness center too.

The Hilton was the absolute greatest place to get married. You get so much for your money not to mention they make it BEAUTIFUL. Angela Foreman made my day 10x less stressful than it should have been. She was absolutely wonderful! Any time I had a question, she got back to me within a half hour. Not 24 hours, not a few days, A HALF HOUR. No matter what time of day too. She was there to help with my entire rehearsal and was there from morning until night the day of my wedding to make sure everything was going okay. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Angela. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We can not say enough great things about this venue. Heather is phenomenal to work with and is always on top of things even when there is a slight glitch she makes things right. The room was incredibly beautiful and we could not have been happier to have our wedding reception at this venue. Absolutely perfect.

We received a very reasonable price for what we received. However, I believe that there needs to be more catering managers at this locations as I never had a direct number to mine and it took many back and forth emails and voicemails to get simple details worked out.
