The Doubletree Dana Point was adequate for our stay. Good spacious rooms but odd aspects of service. We arrived at the normal check-in time to find our rooms were not ready. The fr...
ont desk personnel told us that we shouldn’t expect the rooms to be ready since we were too early but we arrived right at the appointed time. The disagreement and the harsh attitude were definitely off putting. There was a large event in Dana Point that weekend, and our guests on our hotel block felt like they were treated as an afterthought. The hotel met our needs for the weekend and were responsive to our changes to the hotel block, but the service left something to be desired.
