th. We were lucky to have a bird nesting right above the balcony. We left some bread crumbs to the new momma bird. I hope the hotel protects it because the next door neighbor who checked in on May 10th started complaining with me, through the balcony, saying he hated the bird poop on his balcony and that it was my fault as I left breadcrumbs for the momma bird. He complained with me repeatedly-about me-even after I told him to call front desk instead of addressing me and ignored him. He went on and on complaining about the birds alone. Pretty harassing. I can only imagine what he would have done if he could touch that bird’s nest. Some very weird and uncomfortable interactions for sure. Not a hotel problem, as these people are really around. I guess the area and the price range attract it. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the portions are wayyyy too generous. Wayyyyyy too generous. Really! Location is unbeatable, we walked everywhere.

Location, location, location!
Monson Motor Lodge, current Hilton site, has some historical value in the civic movements of 1964. MLK was arrested here, and the subsequent events make this place very special.

Service was also fine. The guy who checked us in was amazing. Beverly who checked us out had a bit of attitude and did not accommodate a late check out even an hour despite our diamond status. Wouldn’t have complained if she treated us like that at a Hampton inn though!
Valet was great! $40 was well worth it. Quick and professional service there.
Restaurant was fine. Nothing fancy, but decent food and service.
Location of the hotel is hard to beat. Walkable to almost all sites in the historic district.
Great overall stay.

ons for us immediately, gave us an early check in and added breakfast onto our stay without an upcharge for the inconvenience. I didnt request anything, they just did what they felt was right and I will forever be grateful for kind women like them. The beds are comfortable, hot tub is hot, food is amazing and we NEVER felt unsafe or unappreciated. Thank you Hilton for the amazing stay.

The view here is absolutely beautiful. You can waste the afternoon away sitting on one of the many benches watching boats pass by. There is a paved walking path along this area as well if you'd also like to walk along the waterfront to take in ...
the views. The location of the hotel is perfect. With the views and the walking proximity to all the best shopping and restaurants St Augustine has to offer, you can't go wrong staying here.

From the moment we arrived, the outstanding hotel staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our entire trip. The Bar Staff and the Valet were all very personable, professional, and responsive.
The hospitality here is top-notch, and the location is perfect for exploring the Historic District and its many shops and restaurants. We look forward to staying here again!
