Kim LaFollette, Sales Manager, spent so much time with us! We we’re looking for a venue for our 50th anniversary and we could never have imagined how much help she would be to us....
Personal meetings, phone calls, emails, texts, all the way from booking to the night of the event she was right there!!
The Sterling Room was gorgeous. Everyone at our event went on and on and on about that food, ( Carved Roast Beef, Carved Ham, Caesar Salad, Tossed Salad, Fresh Fruit, 3 Veggies, and Cheese Cake Factory Cheese Cake). Dance floor was perfect, Servers were spot on all night. There was nothing I can say but this was the BEST organized event I have ever attended! One thing I need to note…….I was raised in the catering business all my life!! My parents owned one. Then after I married, my husband and I owned Touch of Elegance Professional Catering in Maryville and Touch of Elegance Bistro in Alcoa. We also owned 2 Bridal Shops , Annabelle’s in Athens and Brittney’s Bridal in Maryville. I said all this so you will know, I AM VERY HARD TO PLEASE because I Know how it should be done and Kim LaFollellete at the Airport Hilton does too!!!!! She is the best !!!!!!
when we first went there we were completely sold, got all the way down to finalizing contracts and we were about to sign when we went in for a few additional questions and we were ...
treated like we were second best to another client who had just called in even though we had our meeting time scheduled. they hurried us along, had accidentally deleted our contracts out of the system and were so laser focused on this other client that we decided it was not worth our money to be treated second best. it's a lot of money to be committing to for the venue and we felt we were treated as though it did not matter. pretty disappointed because we were 100% going to commit to this venue.
