the worst trips ever via greyhound bus. Nevertheless I finally made it to the hotel with NO luggage due to being left at a rest stop by greyhound bus driver. So of course I was upset and distraught. Lisa was able to calm me down and gave me words of wisdom and encouragement. She let me sit to the side and gather myself (also had credit card issues) before checking in. Once I straightened things out on my end she checked me in a beautiful room. My whole weekend stay was fabulous especially seeing Ms. Lisa at the front desk. Her and her staff both were great and understanding. I’ll never forget her and when I visit Maryland again I’ll be stay at this hotel. Even if I don’t stay I will make sure to stop by just to see her that’s how much of impression she’s left on me.

Lisa was the overnight desk clerk and was very pleasant and helpful on the late night side she greeted us warmly when we entered the building
Amadou and Daniel were on duty at the front desk Friday afternoon and made sure the kids and adults all had a warm cookie upon our return to the hotel and politely greeted us.
The staff in the restaurant was very good and handled our large party without a problem.
Overall the hotel staff exceeded expectations and I would stay here again when visiting the area. Thank you all for making our stay in silver springs a wonderful one.

a long day. I enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant each morning, and the buffet had a decent offering of breakfast foods for $19. The lobby is a nice place to work in during the day and turns into a bar/lounge area at night. The hotel is located in a convenient area with lots of shops, restaurants and movie theaters.

breakfast or not. The receptionist upon check-in didnt want to apply a discount for AARP but at least I was able to apply my Hilton Honors to all rooms. Overall the rooms are great and I slept very well.

I had several questions about hotel policies, from late check-out options to parking, and Leopoldine took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. She never made me feel like I was a burden, even when I needed things repeated. Her calm and patient demeanor turned what could have been frustrating conversations into smooth, understandable interactions.
More than just explaining policies, she took genuine ownership of ensuring my stay was comfortable. She followed up on a request I had and proactively offered solutions I hadn't even considered. It’s clear she takes great pride in her work and in representing the DoubleTree brand.
The front desk staff and two Ethiopian ladies i met on 11/08 for breakfast are all invaluable assets to the hotel. Their displayed professionalism and kindness are what make guests want to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and a special thank you to Leopoldine for her outstanding service!
