they really went above and beyond in ensuring that all details were in place well in advance of the event. Fast forward a year later to when we started planning for our Admitted Student dinner at Memorial Hall - we knew that Hilver's HAD to be our chosen caterer. This event is the biggest recruitment event of the year for us and we knew the food had to be great quality to leave our guests with a lasting impression of how much we care about them. Hilver's, of course, delivered again. They went above and beyond in numerous ways. First, they were willing to set the linens on the tables for us while we were held up with our guests at the College. In addition, a week before the event we found out we had a guest who was vegan. Instead of re-working the entire menu, Hilver's offered to make her a special meal at no extra charge. She later raved about how good it was! Then, at the end of the event the staff insisted that they help us collect all of the remaining food to take back up to the College for our current students to enjoy over the weekend. From small details to the overall big picture, Hilver's is a caterer that we know we will work with for years to come. They focus on the small details while delivering a product that tastes amazing and the best part is we know we can trust that they'll do it right which takes a huge burden off of us when we plan multi-faceted events. The staff were all super friendly, and one of the girls working our event prepared my plate for me so that I wouldn't get my dress dirty :) The food was very yummy too! Katie is awesome and was very helpful during the last week of planning when we were finalizing the menu. She gave her honest opinion when she thought we didn't have enough appetizers, and when we added too many. I would definitely use them again for any future events.

I wanted the best and Hilvers delivered per usual. Katie Hilvers was wonderful to work with as weddings are a bit different than corporate events so I really relied on her expertise. From suggestions on how to stay within our budget to room set up, she was extremely helpful. Oh, and did I mention the food...beef tenderloin, grilled chicken, and green beans almondine; we're still hearing raves from our guests about how amazing the food was at the wedding. For fabulous food and service, Hilvers is definitely a 5-star caterer!

emed wedding reception- all our favorite foods. Hilvers made it work for us and threw in a few of their classics in case guests didn't want cheese coneys and pulled pork. They were incredibly easy to work with, extremely friendly, and always got back to us very quickly with any suggestions. They didn't "bother" us once with any questions at the reception; they just handled everything, down to the Greaters ice cream bar, perfectly. I would highly recommend them for not only a wedding caterer, but for any special event!

Bar" and had rave reviews from all the guests about the food. Hilvers had something for everyone - meat lovers and vegetarians and I couldn't believe how many toppings they came up with. The caterers were very attentive to the guests and did a great job with clean up. Katie was so kind at the wedding and even sent out a caterer for more beer as we started to run low. They came very early to set up - such a relief and not only handled the food, but did the bar-tending as well. I can't tell you how happy we were with everything - they thought of every detail. The cost was very reasonable and I had their dinner buffet other times and it is delicious - that is why we went with Hilvers. Fresh ingredients, attention to detail and always responsive - Everything you need for your wedding day.

e food better but the prices were so much better...by a lot. It wasn't insanely expensive to upgrade from plasticware to actual silverware like it was at most of the other places. My husband and I are big carb people so went with the pasta bar. The alfredo sauce was amazing.

We knew that we didn't have to worry about them not showing up, or having anything other than top notch food. From the appetizers to the cutting of the cake, then boxing up the food that was left for us to take home. Unheard of! The bride and groom decided to go with the best with Caters and DJ. The were SO glad they did! The wait staff were so observant, they carried my mothers plate to her table, after holding it while she filled it. I was SO DARN PROUD! Hilvers is definitely someone I will and have already recommended to other moms planning weddings. I actually help organize weddings-so this was a great find!!! The very fact that the bar was staffed, prepped and included in the package was a huge load off our minds. We never had a doubt about using Hilvers at all! Everything the bride and groom wanted to offer their guests was part of their package. All for under $31.00 per head. KUDOS to Hilvers- they know what makes a great caterer- the ability to deliver great food, great service and awesome memories!
