y 2022 for our engagement shoot in New Hampshire. She arrived at our family home and was kind, warm, and knowledgeable. n to spend time with, and really tried to get to know a bit about us to make our photos feel even more personal. She happily accommodated every shot that we wanted and got so many amazing candids from the dance floor. Special shout out to her second photographer who put up with a LOT of requests from my husband and his groomsmen ;) They were only there for 7 hours but I feel like they got every second of the night on film! Liz has photographed at our venue many times before so she knew exactly where to go and the whole process was so efficient that we got to spend 10-15 minutes just the two of us at the end of cocktail hour before heading into dinner and reception, and that time was so necessary and special for us. Not to mention we had a sneak preview in less than 2 days and our full wedding gallery in less than a month! Hire Liz now!

We both loved the styling of her photos. After our engagement session we were even more excited to have her be apart of our big day. Liz was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding and put all my stress at ease. On the day of the wedding I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. There were many times I looked at her and ask her opinion and she was quick to help and make me feel comfortable with my decisions. Our outdoor ceremony was a day time decision because of course a hurricane decided to come through. I looked a Liz and said the ceremony site isn’t set up is that okay?? She was so quick to reassure me and let me know how beautiful it was without decorating and how beautiful the photos will still be. We got our sneak peak back the next morning sitting in the airport about to leave for our honeymoon. They instantly brought tears to my eyes. My husband and I wanted all of the essential/standard photos, but we wanted it to feel natural, and we didn't want to spend too much of the day posing for photos. Once the ceremony and reception got underway, she seamlessly worked the room, capturing incredible candids that'll help us remember just how wonderful the evening was. But on top of that, we really felt like she went above and beyond for us. She helped us find some quiet time away from the crowd, she bustled my dress and removed my veil (+ a whole colony of ants that descended upon my dress and veil during pre-ceremony photos!), and she kept us apprised of any possible photo opps that we were too busy to notice throughout the evening. And last but certainly not least, she worked through a total downpour without losing an ounce of her fun and positive attitude. Liz was an integral part of our wedding day, and we couldn't be any happier with her work!

One of the best things is that they stuck with us when we had to postpone our wedding because of the pandemic. I was so glad they were able to stay on board! As planned, I found Matt , in my room at the inn, calmly and happily awaiting my arrival in order to photograph me getting ready. It was comfortable and reassuring to have him standing by, knowing that he has been through just a few more of these occasions than I have. g another couple do our pictures. During our initial meeting, it was evident that they were both warm, friendly fun-loving people who shared a talent and passion for photography. Our wedding package came with a complimentary engagement shoot and we gave them little direction when it came to a location for the engagement shoot. We had described ourselves as “outdoorsy” people and told them we wanted something in the woods and rustic backgrounds. They took us to a park nearby and the location was beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for. After seeing what they could do with the engagement shoot, we knew that we chose the right people to photograph our wedding. Fast forward to a week after the engagement shoot, and they already had the pictures available to us on an easy to use website. I was shocked at how quickly they were able to turn around the pictures, especially because I knew it was prime wedding season (summer) for them. We ordered a couple of prints from this shoot and the quality was absolutely perfect. The wedding was no different as far as the beauty they were able to capture. They both showed up on time, maybe even a little early, to start their picture taking. Matt went and took pictures of the groomsmen party getting ready and Liz met the bridal party at the salon to take pictures. Neither were invasive at all. They made some small suggestions here and there but allowed us to interact as if they were not there which resulted in some great candid shots. I felt completely comfortable having Liz around as she has a great personality. For our pictures, we went to Newcastle Commons and unfortunately it was a freezing cold day in mid-November. Matt and the boys were out for 40 minutes in the cold shooting pictures. I’m sure he was really uncomfortable in the cold but I would have never known it and the pictures came out great. Matt and Liz both worked so well together and pointed out places on the spot for us to get out of the limo and take some additional unplanned photos, which ended up becoming some of our favorite shots. Matt and Liz know the Seacoast very well and were able to select some great spots to photograph our wedding party in Portsmouth. During the reception, Matt and Liz both were great about reminding us of certain group photos I had told them I hoped to get. They even gave us a 10 minute warning when their time was almost up so we could get a few more before they had to leave. Just like with the engagement shoot, they had our pictures edited and ready to order/view in really good time. I think it took about 3 weeks total to get them all back in neatly organized folders separating the various elements of the day. All in all, I would highly recommend Matt and Liz if you want to be satisfied with your experience and can afford to use them. For the money, they are worth it and truly provide a quality experience. I have heard some horror stories from other brides and their photos, which makes me even more content with our decision to use the Hinkleys. They went above and beyond our expectations in their talent, personalities and professionalism.
