The photos they take come out looking so natural, it’s incredible. You will actually look like yourself in them! Further, they have an easy-to-use online portal that made working with them so incredibly easy (no mailing in contracts, checks, etc.). One of my bridesmaids has already chosen to work with them based on how awesome they were on our wedding day! I will continue to recommend Matt & Liz to anyone who needs a wedding photographer until the day they retire or robots start taking photos for humans. Hopefully the former comes first!

was evident that they were both warm, friendly fun-loving people who shared a talent and passion for photography. Our wedding package came with a complimentary engagement shoot and we gave them little direction when it came to a location for the engagement shoot. We had described ourselves as “outdoorsy” people and told them we wanted something in the woods and rustic backgrounds. They took us to a park nearby and the location was beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for. After seeing what they could do with the engagement shoot, we knew that we chose the right people to photograph our wedding. Fast forward to a week after the engagement shoot, and they already had the pictures available to us on an easy to use website. I was shocked at how quickly they were able to turn around the pictures, especially because I knew it was prime wedding season (summer) for them. We ordered a couple of prints from this shoot and the quality was absolutely perfect. The wedding was no different as far as the beauty they were able to capture. They both showed up on time, maybe even a little early, to start their picture taking. Matt went and took pictures of the groomsmen party getting ready and Liz met the bridal party at the salon to take pictures. Neither were invasive at all. They made some small suggestions here and there but allowed us to interact as if they were not there which resulted in some great candid shots. I felt completely comfortable having Liz around as she has a great personality. For our pictures, we went to Newcastle Commons and unfortunately it was a freezing cold day in mid-November. Matt and the boys were out for 40 minutes in the cold shooting pictures. I’m sure he was really uncomfortable in the cold but I would have never known it and the pictures came out great. Matt and Liz both worked so well together and pointed out places on the spot for us to get out of the limo and take some additional unplanned photos, which ended up becoming some of our favorite shots. Matt and Liz know the Seacoast very well and were able to select some great spots to photograph our wedding party in Portsmouth. During the reception, Matt and Liz both were great about reminding us of certain group photos I had told them I hoped to get. They even gave us a 10 minute warning when their time was almost up so we could get a few more before they had to leave. Just like with the engagement shoot, they had our pictures edited and ready to order/view in really good time. I think it took about 3 weeks total to get them all back in neatly organized folders separating the various elements of the day. All in all, I would highly recommend Matt and Liz if you want to be satisfied with your experience and can afford to use them. For the money, they are worth it and truly provide a quality experience. I have heard some horror stories from other brides and their photos, which makes me even more content with our decision to use the Hinkleys. They went above and beyond our expectations in their talent, personalities and professionalism.

We would have chosen the Hinkelys no matter what venue we were at, but they are experts at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. They ski there over the winter, have done countless weddings there so are very familiar with the staff, the best views and the logistics. Definitely consider them for your next upcoming event!

While getting ready I hardly noticed Liz's presence however she still captured every intimate detail. From our first look, until the end of our reception, the Hinkley's made us feel comfortable, happy, and made sure they got every shot we wanted to remember our wedding. It was so wonderful to wake up the next morning to a sneak peak album full of photos (nothing more exciting as a bride!) Look no further, the perfect photographers are right here!

They are skilled at capturing special little moments and unique personality traits, as well as natural outdoor beauty. Both our wedding and and engagement photos turned out so beautifully; we could not be happier with them! On top of the quality, we were also extremely pleased with how easy Matt and Liz were to work with. They were organized, responded quickly, communicated proactively, and were so helpful on our actual wedding day as well, helping us figure out where to go and what to do (Liz even bustled my dress!). Their turnaround time for photos is also pretty quick - we received our finished wedding photos approximately two weeks after the wedding. Finally, it was such a pleasure getting to know Matt and Liz over the course of our engagement. When we first began working with them, they explained that they like to do an engagement session, included in their wedding package, as a way to get to know the couples they work with a little better. th! The Hinkleys are definitely the full package. Matt and Liz were excellent to work with this past year and we love the quality, style, and amount of photos they took! They were so flexible from the very beginning of the process. We were able to Facetime with them for our first meeting (since we live in Boston). Then they came to Boston for our engagement photoshoot last fall... we thoroughly enjoyed our session with them and a quick dinner after. They were so easy to get along with, we almost forgot we were having our pictures taken! In June they traveled again to the NH Seacoast for our wedding. We did our wedding photos primarily all in one park and they were able to capture so many different backdrops from just one location. They were able to capture a lot of great candidates as well, from moments on the party bus to dancing after dinner! A preview/sampler of our photos were even ready for us by 7AM the morning after our wedding and the final photos only a few weeks later. They also have a really easy online based system to make payments through, view your photos and fill out any questions for the wedding day! I highly recommend the Hinkleys and definitely will use them for any family photos down the road.

They also had great suggestions for posing/placement and beautiful background settings for photos, which was great since my husband and I weren't really familiar or comfortable with posing for pictures before meeting them. They were also wonderfully flexible on our wedding day when the speeches/dances went longer than expected, talking to us about the timing and ok'ing the extra half hour with us. Also, we were very glad to have two photographers, this allowed for multiple angles of important moments of course, but also it was helpful to have one of them near us, describing the pose we were aiming for while the other took pictures from farther away. Finally, they were very fast in editing the photos - we were able to share a few dozen pictures the day after the wedding, and the full album was ready right when they said it would be. Overall, the Hinkleys were fantastic and our wedding and engagement photos are beautiful!

Before the event, they were extremely responsive - we FaceTimed and completed a survey so we could provide them with anything unique about our event, a "shot list" of pictures that were important to us, etc. They also offered to meet us in person before the wedding so we would feel comfortable with one another (we planned the wedding from a few states away, so the offer to travel to meet was much appreciated). Not only did they ask for our input, they made sure to achieve everything we asked for. They were flexible in letting us add another hour to our package so we could have a sparkler send off. Not to mention they had a preview of our photos up on their blog less than 12 hours after our event! It was amazing to have a link to send out to family and friends so quickly! The Hinkleys are great at suggesting things based on their experiences. We weren't sure whether we wanted to do a first look, and they encouraged us for a number of reasons -- including so that we could enjoy our cocktail reception with guests rather than be stuck doing photographs. They care about the bride and groom experience! Liz was also so wonderful helping me with my jewelry, bustle, veil, etc. I know this is not normally a photographer's job, but she is so positive and willing to help, and she really made me feel at ease. I would absolutely recommend The Hinkleys!

hey were so accommodating straight from the beginning, especially because my husband and I live in NJ and have pretty busy schedules but they made scheduling our engagement session a breeze. When we suggested going to a local brewery for our engagement shoot they were all about it! The one thing I truly wanted to be perfect was the photography, I wanted to be able to look back at my photos 10 years from now and feel all the same emotions I felt on our wedding day. Matt and Liz went above and beyond to make that dream possible! They captured every possible moment from the details that I worked so hard on, the beautiful scenery and most importantly the candid's of our wild dance floor!! I will definitely look to Matt and Liz for any future photography needs! :-)

first photographers we contacted. They responded immediately and we hopped on the phone for almost 2 hours just getting to know each other and talk wedding details. Our engagement shoot was included in the price, which is a genius idea because you get to know Matt and Liz, so on the big day its like having more friends around! My husband and I are not center of attention types, so we were a little apprehensive about the engagement shoot - but it simply felt like we were hanging out with some friends in a park for the afternoon. Ending the day with lunch and beers was a bonus :-) They were nothing short of amazing on our wedding day. It's super fun to have a husband/wife couple because they can split up for the "getting ready" shots and get pics from all the best angles! Matt and Liz are so calm and stress-free. They are insanely organized, so the timing all worked perfectly. The shots are just incredible, and I cannot wait to get albums printed. I also want to point out how easy it is to interact with their website. They have a very sophisticated setup going - from info, to payment, to photo posts and downloads. Most vendors barely have a functioning email address, let alone a completely interactive website. My only regret is not also booking them for our rehearsal night! Matt & Liz : thanks again for everything. I can't wait till we can work together again!

Being able to re-live the big day before heading on our honeymoon and to share pics with family, friends and coworkers who couldn't be there was such a nice thing that I hadn't even expected. We were blown away again when they had all of our wedding photos beautifully retouched and delivered to us within weeks of the big day! my mom bustle my dress and Matt helped all the groomsmen with their boutonnieres. We ordered a guest book for our wedding though the Hinkelys after our engagement session and it's stunning. It was such a nice addition to our wedding, and it looks beautiful. I know our wedding album will be equally as amazing. We were lucky enough to have the video booth! Our guests could not get enough of it! It was a really fun addition to the reception and I would HIGHLY recommend checking them out and booking one for yourself. It is such a nice memory to have from our wedding and our guests can't get enough of it and are watching it all the time. Matt made the video booth so much fun and the Hinlkeys brought props for us to use. Liz and Matt are great people and we were so happy they were able to be part of our wedding. If you choose them as your photographers you will never be disappointed. Your wedding is a once and a lifetime event and your pictures are what you have to remember it. Their turn-around time was unbelievably fast - we had a preview available at 8am the morning after the wedding(!) and the complete set of edited photos in a little over 2 weeks. They give you full digital rights to share/use/print the photos for personal use, which was a definite must for me when I was booking. Bonus: Liz even saved me before the ceremony by noting that the belt on my dress had come undone and she whipped a safety pin out of her bag to fix it!

ig day. As a hobbyist photographer, I was particular about getting great photos, and after viewing their photos online from other weddings, we really wanted to hire them. Prior to the wedding, they came and met with us for an engagement photo shoot. My wife and I had never done any modeling before, and this was a really nice way to get used to having our pictures taken. The photos came out really well, and it was a blast hanging out with the Hinkleys. On the wedding day, they helped to make sure everything came out perfectly. They photographed us getting ready, and then at a nearby covered bridge where we did our first look. It was so much fun. They were the ultimate professionals. And they fit in so well with their easy-going personalities that they felt like guests at our wedding. By the time we woke up the following day, they had already posted about 35 photos on their website. We were able to show all our friends and family members the photos and relive the whole thing right away. And the photos look awesome.

the only choice for me! Neither of us really particularly like having our picture taken but Matt and Liz put us at ease from the very first meeting. We talked about our vision, their involvement in our planning and our day, and just generally about how we expected the process to work out. They were wonderful. They really went the extra mile (no pun intended) to shoot our engagement session in the North Country of New Hampshire in order to accommodate our perfect setting. Within minutes, we were at ease and having the time of our lives. THIS shows in our amazing engagement photos! On the wedding day, I honestly couldn't wait for them to arrive! I knew Matt would take good care of the boys, and that Liz would be a wonderful addition to my posse of girls. They are the perfect pair to shoot a wedding. They communicated throughout the day to make sure we were all on time and in place for the first look and subsequent family photos. Needless to say, we LOVE our wedding photos. I could go on and on for days about how wonderful these two are. The bottom line - HIRE THEM. I could not imagine my day without them.

aw their first pictures, I knew that I would someday want to take my photos as well! We were engaged on April 30th and a day later, I was already checking on dates for October! :) I wanted to make sure they weren't booked for our date! We were absolutely thrilled with ALL of our photos, both the engagement session and the wedding itself. We loved how they include an engagement session so that you get the feel for having someone take your picture. They were super accommodating and met us up at Loon for our engagement session. We had such a ball walking around and finding neat places to take pictures. They even put up with our super cheesy side, taking our Star Trek photo! :P hahah... The day of our wedding was amazing! Liz showed up and took "getting ready" pictures, while Matt headed to the church to meet the guys for their "getting ready" session. We had such a great time throughout the entire day! They are an amazing couple...and superb photographers to boot!!! Their work speaks for itself! If you choose them, I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!

My husband and I could not be more thrilled with the memories we have, and the hardest part of working with the Hinkleys was choosing which of all the beautiful photos we liked best for our 30-page album. However, Matt and Liz offer so much more than stunning photos, which is why you should seriously consider booking them. First of all, the Hinkleys could not be more organized before your wedding. They really take the time to get to know you as a couple during your engagement shoot and through a pre-wedding questionnaire. All of their forms and documents are conveniently located on an online system, and it is very easy to make payments. Also, Matt and Liz gave us great recommendations for other vendors. I think Liz responded to every one of my many emails within 12 hours or less, even during their busy wedding season! By our wedding day, I felt completely comfortable with Matt and Liz, and I was so excited to see them when they arrived at our venue. On the wedding day, Liz stayed with me and my bridesmaids while we got ready, and she kept me calm and organized throughout the getting ready process. I honestly felt as though she was reading my mind because before I could say the words, "Where did I put my veil?" Liz would be holding my veil out for me to put on. This happened over and over throughout the evening. Liz reminded me to put on my garter, my something blue, and a piece of family jewelry I would have forgotten! I pride myself on being very organized, and I had 7 bridesmaids there plus my mother to help me on my wedding day, but somehow Liz was the one person who remembered everything! I think I said, "Thank god for Liz," about 10 times on my wedding day! She was calm, patient, and collected, and her professional demeanor kept all of us focused and excited. Of course, I was not present while my husband was getting ready with his groomsmen, but when I told him later about how amazingly helpful and kind Liz had been with all of the girls, my husband tried to tell me that Matt was even more helpful (not possible, sorry Matt!). Apparently, Matt helped wrangle all seven rowdy groomsmen for photos, and Matt even quietly and politely encouraged a few of them to slow down on the pre-ceremony drinks (thank goodness!). Before the ceremony, Matt and Liz arranged a special moment for my husband and I to be together in photos without seeing each other. Thanks to them, it was really creative and special! Both Matt and Liz were completely unobtrusive during our wedding ceremony and our reception, but I also felt as though they were right nearby whenever we needed them. One of my best wedding memories was when Matt and Liz stole my husband and I away for a quick night-time, outdoor photo. It was a private, romantic moment of calm in our busy evening, and I absolutely cherish the beautiful photo from that moment. If you are looking for photographers who will put you at ease, treat you with respect, make your wedding day even more special, and take perfect photos, then stop shopping and hire the Hinkleys.

y Photo is not inexpensive but you really get what you pay for - we had extremely high expectations and they were exceeded. We got 2 awesome photographers and INCREDIBLE photos. They made us look and feel like super models! They captured the true moments of our special day instead of creating fake posed photos. We have already gotten so many comments from our guests about how not in they way Matt & Liz were. They were also really fun down to earth people! Liz ended up helping me fix a hair emergency and Matt helped my groom who had no idea what to do with his tux! We loved the sneak peek of our photos on their blog the NEXT day. We got the rest of our engagement photos extremely fast and our wedding photos will be ready within 6 weeks of the wedding - among the married people I know this is unheard of! We also can't wait to see the wedding album they are putting together for us... we know we will be blown away! We are Hinkley Photo customers for life after the awesome experience we had with our wedding. You would be crazy not to hire them!

y know how to capture those special moments. Everybody that saw our pictures could not say enough about how wonderful they were. I would hire the Hinkleys a million times over.

ridal party after. Unfortunately they didn't know the venue and took us out of the way which took up too much time. In short, half of our photos look rushed and when it came to the family & bridal shots, we had no time at all. Which made for pictures that lack in creativity. We are all smooshed in a line and they didn't even wait for everyone to smile. 2nd-I believe their style is more suited to rustic, outdoor, perhaps barn style weddings. Ours was formal, in a mansion and they seemed to take pictures of anything but the mansion. It just wasn't represented as much as I thought it would be or wanted it to be. ie; they took us next door to an abandoned school with boarded up windows, instead of staying on the manicured mansion grounds. I'm sure they thought the shot was cool, but we chose to get married at the mansion because of it's beauty. 3rd- The decor/detail images we have are all cropped. Being a DIY bride I was excited to see everything come together, but you don't get that sense when everything is cropped. ie. Escort card table had a large arrangement with candles etc and was a focal point upon entering the venue. But there is no picture of the complete table, only individual placecards. That holds true for the candy bar we also had. I saw it on that day but of course it had already been altered by the guests. 4th- There were a lot of things that were missed, I'll mention a few. They took no photos of our guests, aside from those dancing. We have no photos at night and none of our custom made table numbers. And aside from the few rushed group shots, there are no other pics of the bridesmaids, groom with mother & sister, bride with father, mother or brother separately. In general I just don't feel like they represented us or our wedding very well. I look at the pictures and question; I can't believe they missed that, why would they crop that, why isn't that centered, why didn't they tell us to turn our heads or adjust our clothing so it didn't look funny. Things didn't look their best and it's because they didn't take the time to either tell us what to do or position the decorative elements to look their best. The Hinkleys are pricey and highly rated, because of that..I guess I expected more. Also, you won't find us on their Facebook page(our wedding wasn't even mentioned), or website. If they loved the pics they shot at our wedding, you think we would see them somewhere and I can't find one shot.

end of the night. The photos are fantastic - If he could get such wonderful images from us, I guarantee the Hinkley's will provide you with exactly what you want.

your wedding they give you a little sneak peak at a good handfull of pictures to hold you over..they are amazing with cameras I recommend Matt and Liz to EVERYONE! We were able to build our own package. They will be doing more pictures for us...

conventional. My only wish is that they focused a little more on our immediate family and took photos of not only the people on the dance floor but the other 50% that attended the reception. They also do a photo booth and I feel like the DJ really needs to make a huge effort more than once to get the point across because at our wedding not everyone knew about it. You don't want to be overwhelmed with photos but I expected way more with there being 2 photographers. Overall they did do a great job and I am very thankful we were so lucky to have them.

They made Pete and I feel so relaxed and I cannot even begin to tell you how much we LOVE the photos we've seen so far. I'll end this review with one comment I received from a friend about their photos..."they capture the moment so beautifully.. like they are in your head and know what you are thinking and feeling"!!

very quick with getting your online gallery to you. I LOVE my photos and really enjoyed working with the Hinkleys. I would HIGHLY recommend them!
