We hired a jazz duo for our cocktail hour and wow! They were amazing. The music was perfect and everyone really enjoyed it.

We hired a cello and violin duo to perform prior and during our ceremony. The performance was absolutely beautiful, and seriously made us feel a lot fancier than we are! One of my "saddest" wedding moments (as the bride) is that I did not get to hear more of the performance for myself. When I came out to walk down the aisle I was shocked by how gorgeous the music was. It made me feel like a princess! Working with the school to coordinate and book the service was easy, too. Keep in mind they are a busy school, so if you're expecting lightning fast responses, chill. Once we were assigned the student performers, the Lead contacted me to arrange the program and sent me tons of song suggestions based on what I was looking for. They were on time for the event, dressed appropriately, and VERY kind and gracious. Worth every penny! Thank you, Jiwon and Hyewon!

We hired a cello duo for our ceremony, asked them to play a mix of modern songs and more conventional numbers, and requested specific songs for the processional and recessional. Our point of contact could not have been easier to work with or more accommodating. He had ideas for a playlist and was eager to make our vision come to life. At the event, they were polished, professional, and sounded great. Highly recommended.

We are so happy with our choice in hiring a Julliard Alumni. We hired a solo violinist for our wedding and Chelsea Smith (the violinist) was great to work with. Wish we had the chance to meet her in person but the wedding day went by too fast! But I do know our guests kept mentioning how great the violinist was. We could not be happier with our ceremony and cocktail hour music.

I have nothing bad to say about the performers. They were very easy to work with and arrived on time. As I heard the song I almost burst into tears (of joy). It took a long time for them to finalize the contract. Partially because the students were in charge of creating the contracts and the director asked a lot of questions and so there were a lot of back and forth. I will say start the process early. But overall, loved it. Affordable too.

Wonderful experience! I was nervous when searching for ceremony musicians for our wedding since I’m not musical at all. From my first conversations with Emilia in the Juilliard office she was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She provided an incredible list of song selections with made the process much easier. Her colleague, Rachel, was also very helpful and wonderful to work with. I choose a guitar / cello duo and the lead musician, Adam Cockerham (the guitarist) was so incredibly professional and lovely to work with. From our first conversation he said that he completely understood what we wanted and he knew we had bigger things to worry about than the ceremony and cocktail hour music. He reassured us that he would handle everything so we didn’t have to worry. He helped us pick the processional and recessional music and then we gave him just a few suggestions of what we’d like to hear during the cocktail hour but basically, he handled all the details - song selections for the invitation and cocktail hour were his and he did an incredible job. Everyone was so impressed by their performances! Adam and his accompanist, Kieran (the cellist), showed up on time wearing dark suits, as we had requested. They looked professional but more so; they were extremely professional and talented. The music that night was perfect! My husband and I were so pleased; my parents were beyond impressed and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the Juilliard performers! The whole experience was wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

One of the biggest hurdles to overcome in our wedding planning process was whether or not to have live music. Music is important to me and my husband, so, naturally, we were terrified of hiring mediocre (yet overpriced) "wedding musicians." After much deliberation, we decided that we would opt for a string duo for the ceremony and a DJ for the reception. When we discovered Hire Juilliard Performers, we were overjoyed: the price was doable and we knew that the musicians would be top notch. From the moment we made our decision to move forward with their service, we felt at ease. We were first contacted by Emilia Tamburri, who promptly and graciously answered all of our logistical questions. We booked them without hesitation. A few months before the wedding, as promised, we were contacted by the group leader, Deborah Song. She spoke with us over the phone and offered stellar song suggestions for the prelude, bridal processional, and recessional. After that, we signed the contract. Leading up to the wedding, I contacted Deborah to ask what time she would arrive at our wedding venue and she responded quickly. The string duo's performance during our ceremony was breathtaking. We were so impressed by Hire Juilliard Performers' professionalism and the quality of their performance. I recommend them highly!

We hired Juilliard Performers for our wedding and they did a fantastic job. We hired a violinist & a cellist and they performed custom contemporary songs for us as well as classical music while our guests arrived. I cannot recommend the Juilliard Performers more, my contact (Zeynep) was highly responsive, very accommodating and very professional.

I was very pleased with the services I received for my ceremony. I hired a violin soloist for a small wedding (about 40 people) and absolutely adored the music. The musician played beautifully and added a very elegant touch to the wedding ceremony. I worked with two people primarily, the coordinator who pairs the musician with the wedding ceremony, and the musician herself. Both were responsive and professional, and I was really happy with my decision to go with the Juilliard students!

My husband and I are in our mid-thirties, and the majority of our guests were our age or older. We had no interest in screaming over the thumping bass of a typical wedding dj. We hired a violinist, Maria Im, to play during our ceremony, and a pianist, Stephanie Wu, to play during our dessert hour. Both ladies were incredibly talented and professional, and I really enjoyed working with both of them on coming up with a wedding repertoire. Juilliard obviously trains the most talented young musicians in the country, so we felt the price was very good considering the level of talent we were getting. If I ever host another event in NYC, I would absolutely hire from Juilliard again!

We hired a string trio for our wedding at the Cop Cot in Central Park and the musicians were absolutely spectacular!! Danny Kim and his group brought such a lovely, happy feeling to our ceremony. I could not have been happier! It was very easy to work with Katherine Howell and Danny Kim from Juilliard. I definitely recommend Juiliiard performers for any special occasion!! THANK YOU!!!!

We hired a cello/violinist duo and they were fantastic! Jiwon, the musician, was always available via email and was very flexible with the songs we wanted to hear during the cocktail hour. While the ceremony music was quite traditional, my hubby wanted some "nerdy" music, like the Game of Thrones opening song, during the cocktail hour. Jiwon loved all of his ideas and was able to learn all the music for his requests. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them!

I loves the Julliard perfomers, they were extremely professional and helped me in every step of the way, from muscician attire to classical music selection.

I had a violinist and cellist perform for my ceremony and cocktail hour. We got many compliments on their beautiful performance. From the beginning they were professional, on time, and I felt confident that my contact (the violinist, Lisa) knew what she was doing and I could trust her judgement and expertise. We looked into professional string quartets but the cost was just too high. We paid $790 for 2 hours and it was well worth it.

Very talented, eager to perform, flexible;require shade, need to transport them.

This turned out to be a great alternative to paying some of the high priced 'professional' musicians that we interviewed. The Julliard musicians were extremely professional and easy to work with. Also, many of my guests commented on the quality of their performance during the ceremony and cocktail hour.
