Historic Ashland

equests, and adjust to any situation. The grounds are gorgeous, as are the mansion for the bridal party and cottage for the groomsmen. My daughter was married on April 25th, and unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for her outside ceremony. Amanda and Leah made the changes work. They checked in frequently and were always in the background ready to assist. They even loaded my car prior to and after the day concluded- in the pouring rain, which was definitely appreciated. Highly recommend holding any event at the Historic Ashland. 12/10

and helpful the entire planning process including the day of. Amanda was our day of coordinator and was a dream to work with creating our vision perfectly. Historic Ashland is not only an absolutely beautiful venue but the team will handle everything the day of, allowing for the perfect wedding day.

it was. Leah, the owner, and Amanda, our coordinator, were so kind and knowledgeable. They answered our many questions leading up to our wedding day quickly whenever we asked. They made our wedding day 100% stress free and we were able to relax and enjoy the day knowing we were in excellent hands! Can’t recommend or thank them enough for everything they did for us! 🤍

s and beauty of the barn. Leah, the owner, was ever present, checking in on us, and making sure things went according to plan and Kirsten, our day of coordinator, did an outstanding job helping bring my vision to life. Everything looked amazing and was so professional. Huge shout out to the Historic Ashland team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Clements 🩷

First off, Historic Ashland is as beautiful as the images online make it seem. Take a look at HA's social media as well, because they have many videos/photos that can illustrate more details of specific areas you may be interested in! We had our initial tour in the fall of 2023 and were fortunate enough to have Leah be the guide. From pulling into the driveway and seeing the Mansion to walking in the front door, we could start to imagine what the day could look like. We liked how it was an exclusive event venue where we would be the only ones on the property, which was different than others we had visited. Reflecting, I'm so grateful for that, because we were their only focus, and they executed fantastically. From bonding over being TempleU Alumni to getting permission to have one lantern, my heart was sold. You can tell that Leah truly cares about the couples and events that the venue hosts as she was there in person and made a point to ask how everything was going and if we needed anything. It came down to cost, and whether we could swing it as it was more than other venues we were looking at, and I'm SO HAPPY WE DECIDED TO GO FOR IT! Going into the event all we wanted was to have fun, and it was everything we wanted and more. Day of Coordinator - one of the BEST add-ons out there - I can see why it's required. Not enough words for how fabulously fierce Amanda is. On the day of, we had a U-Haul driven to a designated parking spot, and then everything appeared! One thing we didn’t think about that makes the day-of coordinator worth every penny is that it allows your family (and yourself) to be present and enjoy the day! After almost two years of planning and commuting 2 hours one way to the York area to meet vendors, having Amanda as the ‘head coach’ of the day allowed us to be present and have the time of our lives. Highly recommend getting the candles and glass jars for the stairs between the upper and lower levels if that's your style. The only thing I would say is that prior to the event confirm what the kitchen will and will not have such as hot beverage cups, silverware, plates - we supplied our own. Be aware that after cocktail hour and guests move to the reception area (upper level) the lower level is closed off.

ur day to calming my (the bride's) nerves on the day of, Leah is a true professional. I never felt less than for having "just" an elopement and not a traditional wedding. In fact, the name stayed true to the package we chose and the experience we had: VIP. Thank you! Historic Ashland will always have a special place in our hearts and memories.

ed with Leah, Amanda, and Courtney and all three were a dream team! We are so thankful for all their help!

ncredible with so many beautiful backdrops throughout the property just waiting to be photographed. When choosing a wedding venue we had many different wants on our list and Historic Ashland fit them all: separate bridal and groomsmen getting ready areas, barn space for reception, outdoor ceremony, and more. However what we really focused on as our 2 non-negotiables: great photo opportunities and a good backup plan for if it rained. With so many options for ceremony locations on site, we were covered for our dream outdoor wedding and a gorgeous indoor one too, if it came to that. Some added bonuses along the way that we did not expect: how easy the team made it to execute our dream and leave no stone unturned during the wedding planning process. Throughout the year as I was planning decor and my vision for the day, it was incredibly helpful that the team was so active on social media. I got to see so many different examples of what past couples had done to customize the space for their wedding. It made it that much easier to narrow down my options and truly envision how it would look. Something I would have never known I needed was the built-in day of coordinator every Ashland couple gets for their wedding. We had the wonderful Amanda as our DOC and I was blown away by how she was able to set up all of our decor exactly how I wanted it. And then furthermore, when it came to packing up at the end of the night, it was done so quickly, with nothing left behind. Not to mention, the entire day went so smoothly, and I felt confident in what we were doing every step of the way. I really can't recommend this venue enough. 10/10

venue is beautiful and just pulling onto the property you just say WOW! We had a wonderful winter wedding using the downstairs area for a cozy indoor wedding ceremony and the upstairs area for the reception. All our guest loved how cozy the venue was! Leah was great to work with and she answered any questions prior to the big day. She is funny and an awesome hype person! Leah truly loves the venue and it really shows! Amanda was our day of coordinator and she helped turn the many hours of planning into reality. She met with us a few weeks before the wedding to get the final details in place. Amanda and the Historic Ashland staff made sure everything was in place to match how I envisioned the day, making me less stressed. Amanda kept us on schedule and even with hiccups she brought a sense of calming to the situation and seamlessly caught us up on time and not ruin the night. Amanda also quickly took care of a dress malfunction, making sure the day went on as a success. The Historic Ashland team was a dream to work with and turned our vision into a reality and allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. We will be forever grateful for the wonderful venue and team that worked with us to make our wedding the perfect day to start our marriage. Thank you Historic Ashland team!

hey are on top everything truly made our day really special! The staff was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. Every detail was taken care of, and the atmosphere was magical. Our guest loved the venue and couldn’t stop raving about it. We highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a hat can handle your wedding so you can enjoy your day from start to finish.

re perfect. Any small hiccup that arose during the day, Kirsten and Leah already had it addressed and fixed before I even had a chance to worry about it! Their dedication to their craft made me feel like they truly cared about each wedding individually and how they could help make it even more perfect than any bride could ever imagine!

emely helpful. The property is stunning - we had our wedding in late October which was right around peak fall color, but we've seen it in snow, in the spring, and in the summer and there is truly never a bad season. There are a variety of outdoor backdrops for pictures. I think the best thing about HA is the day of coordinator - Amanda made the actual day of our wedding so simple and stress free, we truly had nothing to worry about. We couldn't have picked a better place.

trying to simply get responses to tour requests. We live over an hour from Wrightsville, and my mother lives two hours away, so trying to schedule a tour without being ignored for days by a venue was starting to seem nearly impossible. When we came across HA, we crossed our fingers and sent a message. We got a response before I could even lock my phone, and a tour scheduled in less than 5 minutes. And that basically describes how the rest of wedding planning went for us thanks to their detailed planning guide, which includes a list of preferred vendors, a rental guide for decorations, a timeline for the wedding day, and more. Leah and Amanda always made themselves available to answer any questions we had. From that moment until our wedding day in October 2024, we knew we were in good hands and couldn’t go wrong with the rest of the decisions we had to make. The property itself is stunning, and it was so nice to have various locations to utilize, from getting ready to all the different ceremony locations. Really our hardest decision was where to have the ceremony. We truly have HA to thank for our wedding planning process being so smooth. The entire HA team went above and beyond to make our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. You hear nightmares about how something always goes wrong on a wedding day. The HA team handled absolutely everything for us. All we had to do was show up. Not one thing went wrong. We still have guests texting us to talk about how beautiful the entire day was. Everything was perfect and we cannot thank Leah, Amanda, and the entire team enough. I will recommend this venue to anyone that wants to listen. I hope someone we know gets married there so we can go back as a guest. Not that we need an excuse to go back because Leah is such a gem.

peaking, we both knew this was it—this was where we’d say “I Do.” The day couldn’t have been more magical. There’s so much stress in the planning process and the day of was the easiest part. My fiancés jacket ripped 20 minutes before the ceremony and one of my bridesmaids lost her bouquet. A sewing kit saved the day and the jacket was quickly fixed, and cocktail hour arrangement was repurposed into a bridesmaid bouquet 10 minutes before the ceremony. Zip tied and ribboned (which was identical to the others). I didn’t even have time to panic before a solution came along. Our Day of Coordinator, Kirsten was always calm, cool, and collected. I never once panicked. Never broke a sweat. Leah, the venue owner, was also there on our big day. Between the two of them, there was zero chance of the day being anything less than amazing. My wife always wanted a wedding, I always wanted to elope. I couldn’t be happier that I let her win that battle. Booking HA was the best decision we made throughout the process. I would do it a million times over. You will never regret booking at HA.

eah truly are the best in the game and they made sure my husband and I were okay, cared for and comfortable the entire day! From making sure everything was exactly the way we pictured to handling all the little things like decor, making sure my veil didn’t get caught on anything and just the genuine care they had for us the whole day meant so much. Our day could not have been better and They truly allowed me to have the wedding of my dreams 🤍

that we were going to be having our wedding at Historic Ashland. I told Jess on our way home that I was holding back tears because I could just picture getting married there. Once booked, we got access to our portal that had documents for us to fill & a recommendation list for other vendors that was helpful. Leah & Amanda were always so responsive when we had a question. A private FB group allowed us to talk to other Historic Ashland couples & ask any questions. We loved being able to bring our families to the open house day where we could figure out where we wanted things to go & show them the amazing venue we had picked for our wedding. Once we had our final walkthrough with Amanda it felt like the wedding was finally becoming a reality. Amanda answered all of our last minute questions & helped ease our nerves. Our wedding day was finally here & we wish we could have our wedding every week because it was truthfully the best day of our entire lives. We walked in to the mansion to find a welcome sign that had both of our names on it. Having a kitchen was so nice as we were able to eat & drink while getting ready. Getting ready with all of the girls in the bridal suite was amazing. The amount of getting ready stations was so helpful because I had two people for both hair & makeup so the girls were able to get done pretty quickly. I loved that we both could be in the same house getting ready & we never once saw each other before the first look. The venue has so many amazing places for the first look if you decide to do that. Since Historic Ashland only has one wedding a day, you have access to pretty much the whole property for pictures. I loved that we could go wherever & could have different backgrounds for the pictures. Some venues we toured have more then one wedding a day, so if you want to feel like the star of the show we highly recommend booking with Historic Ashland because you & your partner are the only ones that matter that day. Our ceremony & reception went better than I could have ever expected. Leah & the second shooter put our butterflies in the little box for our butterfly release. Amanda made sure the bridal party walked at the right time. Leah fluffed my train & made sure it was perfect for the moment I walked down the aisle. Amanda & Leah helped with the flip from ceremony to reception & we didn’t have to worry about a thing. When we had issues with our flowers, Amanda & Leah handled it without even bringing it up to me. When Amanda realized there weren’t flowers at our memory table, she took it upon herself to add flower petals. That’s not even her job & she still went above & beyond to make sure every last detail was perfect. At the end of the night, Amanda handed out & lit the sparklers for the sparkler exit. When everything was said & done, Leah & Amanda helped carry all of our stuff to the car. About a month after our wedding, we got a handwritten letter from Leah thanking & congratulating us. I am sure you can tell that Leah & Amanda at Historic Ashland are the best of the best. I truly believe our wedding went as well as it did because of the venue that we chose. You can tell that Leah & Amanda love their jobs & the couples that they work with. We HIGHLY recommend booking your wedding at Historic Ashland! You will NOT be disappointed!

n September and it was GORGEOUS. Our wedding guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was. From day one, Leah and her team make planning a breeze. They give you a list of vendors that they know and love and help you plan every detail. My girls and I had the whole mansion to get ready in the morning, and my husband and his groomsmen had the cottage to hangout in. There are multiple ceremony sites to choose from and each of them are just as beautiful as the next. The reception space in the updated barn speaks for itself, its breathtaking. My day of coordinator, Amanda, took all of my loose decorations and set them up perfectly. She truly made my vision come to life and I didn't have to lift a finger on my wedding day. I cannot recommend HA enough. Soooo much love for this venue, Leah, Amanda, and everyone who helped make our wedding such a DREAM!

day the 13th, and I wore a black dress, making for a unique and memorable celebration. It was a tough time of year for the owner, Leah, yet she went above and beyond to make sure our day was truly special. She really does make an effort to know all of her clients and works her butt off to make her family proud (and she absolutely makes them proud <3 ). A special shoutout to our day-of coordinator, Amanda—she was simply incredible. While I was relaxing and getting ready, and my husband was spending time with his groomsmen, Amanda took care of EVERYTHING. From handling the floral details to finding something for our flower girl to toss, her flexibility and dedication were unmatched. She set everything up to perfection, allowing us to focus on enjoying our day without any stress. Historic Ashland was the perfect venue for our day, and I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you for helping make our wedding so magical! --- THANK YOU AGAIN, LEAH!

ave to worry about a thing. Working with Leah was also wonderful! She is so involved with clients. We had multiple guests tell us how impressed they were with the venue and the staff. We had the most incredible day! Everything was exactly how we envisioned it. Historic Ashland is truly a stunning property; I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It was an amazing experience, 100/10 recommend! ❤️

ide and out but the staff is absolutely amazing. Leah, Amanda, and all of the Ashland staff are phenomenal. We cannot thank them enough for making this the best day ever. They made the planning process and the day itself so easy, smooth, and stress free. I did not have to worry about a thing because I knew with them, we were in great hands. You can truly tell they have pride in ownership and love what they do. The second we drove through the gates for our tour, we knew it was going to be the place we got married. Everything about the venue is beautiful. From the getting ready areas in the mansion and cottage, to the stream-side ceremony, and the barn (insert heart eyes). Words cannot express how perfect it is. Our wedding day went flawlessly and we have the wonderful staff at Ashland to thank for that. Family and friends continue to express how amazing our wedding was and that it was the best they have ever been to. This is hands down the best venue and I will continue to recommend it to everyone I know! Ashland fam forever!!

Leah and our day-of coordinator, Amanda, were a pleasure to work with! From the beginning when we toured Historic Ashland, Leah was easy to communicate with and still gave us a tour even though we showed up late having driven two hours to HA. I had a ton of questions for her when we were finalizing which venue we were going with and Leah hopped onto a call with me driving somewhere to make sure my questions were answered. From professionalism to personality, it is clear to see why HA has been a go-to venue for so many people. The venue itself is amazing. Having the two locations to get ready—the mansion for the bride’s party and the farmhouse bottom floor for the groom’s party—was great. The mansion has plenty of space for prep and getting ready. The designated room for hair and make is a great addition. The room is big enough for four professionals to be doing hair and make-up (two and two) while also having space for the girls who were not getting anything done to also be in the room. There are three additional rooms on the second floor which were great to have for changing. There are also two bathrooms in the Mansion which is a huge plus. The farmhouse was a great location for the men to get ready in, with space to relax, have some fun, and get changed. Since we had a winter wedding, it was great that the barn had a downstairs and an upstairs for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception. Leah did an amazing job having the barn restored. We didn’t have anything set up for the outside space on the ground floor but having that access for people to have indoor and outdoor space during the cocktail hour was super nice. Having Amanda there as the day-of coordinator was a pleasure. From the day-of planning meeting to all the assistance on our wedding day, she was essential. We had a lot of items for decorating on our own and she helped unpack everything so it was ready to go for set up and then helped pack it up at the end of the day. Amanda helped save the day by creating another bridesmaid bouquet when we realized we ordered one less than we needed. She went around to the different floral pieces in the reception/ceremony spaces and created a bouquet. She copied the look of the bouquet so well that no one noticed it was different. This really underlined how the HA staff helps make your wedding day special. My husband and I highly recommend Historic Ashland for anyone looking for a venue that you’ll remember for years to come.

o the property as prospective clients, to our exit at the end of our wedding night more than a year later, we had one fantastic interaction after the next with Leah, Amanda and team. I am a discerning person with extreme attention to detail, and I can honestly say that Historic Ashland is run flawlessly and with utmost respect and attention to their clients. From many months of planning to seeing it all come to life the day-of, I am still in awe of how perfect our day turned out. The property renovations were incredibly done with all modern amenities and events in mind, while maintaining the charm and historic qualities (not many 1800s barns out there that are immaculately clean with climate control!) We loved being able to have three separate feeling "events" on the property (ceremony outdoors under beautiful mature trees along a creek, cocktail hour on patio/lodge 1st floor, and dinner/dancing on lodge 2nd floor). Our guests traveled from far and wide, and everyone "got it" as soon as they arrived at Ashland - they saw what a truly unique and special place it is! Furthermore, Ashland's relationships with the vendor community gave us so many options to create a custom experience that was beyond what we could have hoped for. It is so common these days to be slightly underwhelmed by things, and I can say without a doubt Historic Ashland, their team, and all of the vendors completely exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be more appreciative, and choosing this as our venue was the absolute best decision. Our family & friends are still raving about it being the best wedding they've been to - and we agree! We are left with a lifetime of memories and will always reflect fondly on our day at Historic Ashland. THANK YOU!

are the most incredible people to work with and are always just one phone call, text, or email away if you need ANYTHING. Our May wedding was even better than we envisioned and the whole day went so smoothly thanks to our day of coordinator, Amanda, who was the most professional, kind and dedicated person to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect with zero stress. Leah has created the most amazing wedding venue and we only hope more couples get to experience and be a part of this Ashland family!!

ay. Leah and her entire team were quick to respond and schedule showings, answer questions through the planning process, and they executed our ceremony and reception perfectly. Amanda was our Day of Coordinator and was someone we could fully trust to keep the day running smoothly. Not only were we in love with how the day went, but so many of our guests also complimented how beautiful the venue was and how they enjoyed their time too! Scott and I couldn't recommend Historic Ashland enough to any prospective couples for a wedding venue in South Central Pennsylvania.

thout disturbing the couple. Leah and Amanda are professional, kind, and creative. I could not have asked for more. That day will be fixed in our memories forever.

ces for the wedding day were exactly what we were looking for. Leah, Amanda, and the entire team at Ashland are beyond dedicated and incredibly helpful. They made the entire process, from start to finish, organized and stress-free for me. Amanda, in particular, went above and beyond by not only listening to my vision and preferences but making it a reality without hesitation. I highly recommend Ashland to any bride-to-be. Thank you, Ashland, for making our wedding day unforgettable.

uge plus. One thing that was very important to us was having nice areas for both wedding parties to get ready. It was crucial that my husband had a space to enjoy on the wedding day, and the groom's cottage provided just that! For the bridal party, the main house is absolutely perfect. The rooms are stunning, the lighting is perfect, and the attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed, making me feel comfortable and at ease the entire morning. From the moment we met Leah, the owner, we could feel her passion and true love for her venue and for every couple that walked through the doors. She makes you feel comfortable and like a true friend from the second you meet her. The team she built at Historic Ashland is incredible, and I felt confident that everything would run smoothly. Leading up to the wedding day, I knew any question I had would be answered by Leah or our coordinator, Amanda. I also loved being in a private Facebook group for current and previous Historic Ashland couples. I learned so many tips and advice there, from which hotel to use to where to go for our rehearsal dinner and what vendors to pick. Our wedding day went so smoothly and was the best day, thanks to the amazing team and community that Leah created. We wish we could do it all over again!

y that your day is as memorable as possible. They make you feel instantly welcome and almost like family. They’re with you the whole way, from start to finish. Leah and Amanda are there with you for every question you have and they really know their stuff. From the gorgeous venue to the dedicated team, it's a really special place and we are so glad we chose them for our wedding. Love from both of us!

Ashland when we attended a holiday banquet there before even engaged- we both said to each other we could see getting married there one day and so we met with Leah before leaving that night and thank goodness we did! Once engaged, we looked at a few venues but kept coming back to Historic Ashland, especially because of Leah and her professionalism and zest for making couples’ dream wedding come true. Our wedding was nothing short of perfect from the start of the booking process to the end of the wedding night, Leah was always available for questions or concerns. She was always willing to share what had worked best or not as well for her past couples. She has AMAZING vendor recommendations who she’s worked with before and we were not disappointed with any of them. Perhaps the best part, she has in-house day-of-coordinators and planners who know the venue so well and really help to execute your vision and style for your day. The Mansion was the perfect getting ready space and our wedding party was blown away by the space and amenities available for getting ready, especially our girls in the beauty chairs. And with the kitchen, we were able to cater a special getting-ready lunch for our party and family. The grounds are perfectly manicured and maintained, we highly recommend a fall wedding at Ashland as the autumnal colors were perfection for pictures. The Lodge was the perfect setting for our reception and comfortably fit our 150-guest count with plenty of space for our dance floor and a lounge by their beautiful fireplace. The Lodge has so much innate beauty that you could use as little or as much decorating and still have a beautiful space. You can truly get it all at Historic Ashland and we would HIGHLY recommend this venue!

y were forth coming about what "needs to be" and what "doesn't need to be" for our reception which gave me so much peace and frankly less work to do! They helped me find all of my other vendors as well. Our day at Ashland was smooth and everything we imagined it to be.

d her team are. From the first time we visited to our wedding day and everything in between, the HA team was organized, informative, and noticeably dedicated to their craft. During our first visit, we were blown away by the beauty of the venue. That day as we toured the estate, we were given tons of helpful information including a rundown of pricing, vendor recommendations, and a loose general itinerary of what our wedding day would look like. Through the planning process, Leah and Amanda answered all our questions and offered support where it was needed. The HA team has a wonderful list of vendors they work with that we were able to research ourselves; we loved each and every one of the vendors we chose and even they were excited to be working another wedding at Historic Ashland. At our pre-wedding meeting, Leah and Amanda helped us create a detailed itinerary of our wedding day so that we all felt totally prepared. Finally, Leah and Amanda made our wedding vision come to life as they followed all our directions down to the finest detail and ensured that the day ran smoothly. Our guests absolutely adored the venue and gushed about it all night long! My husband and I talk all the time about how amazing our wedding day was and that was in large part due to the hardworking team at Historic Ashland. We cannot recommend them enough and if you choose them as your wedding venue, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

erfect package. The day couldn’t have been better. It was exactly what they were looking for. The facility is beautiful and Leah was amazing. The package included flowers and the officiant both of which were perfect. It couldn’t have been a better experience.

an smoothly thanks to their expertise, kindness, and care. They went above and beyond, over and over again. We are so grateful! If you want your wedding day to be seamless, joyful, and elegant — book Historic Ashland. They’re absolute pros, the venue is GORGEOUS, and they’re also so fun to work with!

so seamless. She did everything from helping to decorate, keeping us on schedule, and cleaning up. The grounds are beautiful and there are many different options for the ceremony, both inside and outside. I chose to be married on the patio by the lodge and it was stunning. The reception space is also incredible and we got so many compliments from our guests! I also loved that we could get ready at the venue and be there all day. The mansion is perfect for getting ready! It has plenty of space and room for doing hair and makeup. It also has a kitchen, which came in handy! I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

day. Leah and Kirsten happily answered all of our questions and worked so hard to make sure eveything was perfect. They gave recommendations on vendors, planned our timeline, decorated the space for us, and even made sure a tree that feel down the night before our wedding was cleared in time for us to get amazing photos! They far exceeded our expectations in every possible way! Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy our day with our family and friends without any stress because we knew we could trust them to make sure it came together beautifully.

detail as the couple. They truly want this to be the best day ever and it definitely shows. The owner Leah and our day of coordinator Amanda truly were amazing. They both went above and beyond to make everything perfect. There customer service is a huge reason why we chose Historic Ashland for our big day. They take so much pride in the venue and the HA brand that they hold everything to such a high standard and make sure that it’s perfect. They don’t let the couple lift a finger and they literally handle EVERYTHING on your big day, even the small details you don’t think about. Which for us was a huge relief. It allowed us to truly sit back and enjoy the day. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team, look no further, Historic Ashland should be your first pick.

s the PERFECT place for your grooms party to get ready. I could not thank the girls of Historic Ashland enough. They made us feel like family. You will not have to think twice about anything on your special day. Stress free and happy feelings the entire day. You will not be disappointed!!!!

ay attention to every last detail. The ladies at Ashland are fantastic and made our wedding day PERFECT. They really take charge of the day so you can simply enjoy it because it really does go so fast. Finally, you will NOT find a better bridal suite! Ashland’s bridal suite is top tier. I would 1000% recommend Ashland!! 🫶🏼

eautiful indoor options in case of weather. The landscape is beautiful and it feels very private. My husband and I's bridal party enjoyed getting ready in the spacious mansion and cottage. It was convenient to have it all at the same location. Throughout the planning process, Leah and Kirsten had thought of everything we could need. They went the extra length to take away any wedding day stress so we could focus on celebrating. Kirsten put up our decor, made sure our ceremony ran smoothly, repurposed florals from the ceremony, made sure my husband and I had drinks... she did everything to make sure our day ran smoothly and we were taken care of. They are amazing!

a was my day of coordinator and I couldn't be more thankful for everything she did for me and my husband that day. This truly is the best place to be married at, nothing compares. I have already recommended it to a friend who recently got engaged. I will forever be thankful for all they did for us on our wedding day to make it such a special day for us.

ferent packages that appealed to us as we were not sure how big of a wedding we were going to have initially. Right off the bat they were quick to follow-up with our inquiry and answer any questions that we had. Once you see this venue in person you realize how incredible and versatile it is and left no room for doubt. For the staff: Leah is extremely attentive and personable to work with. You can tell that this venue is her baby and invests all the love and care that is evident through out the entire grounds and all the details. She is an incredible resource and I would also recommend reaching out early after you have booked this venue as she has great insights on the different vendors you can use to stay within your budget. It is one area I wish I utilized earlier on in the process. Amanda was our Day of Coordinator and was incredible from preplanning, rehearsal and day of the wedding. She had everything and anything on hand that you would need. I have no idea if anything didn't go according to plan because she handled things effortlessly and from our perspective it was the perfect day with no hiccups. We actually were ahead of schedule all day which made for a very relaxed bride, groom and wedding party. We never felt rushed which I think really helped us soak in the whole day to its fullest. Additionally, Leah and Amanda invited us to their private facebook group for couples getting married that which is a valuable resource on your own. They post updates regularly in there and you are able to connect and ask questions of other brides and grooms who are getting married or were married at HA. For the venue: The mansion to get ready was amazing; very spacious, filled with light, convenient for our hair and make-up vendors and was a beautiful back drop for photos. The cottage which my husband and his groomsman/family used to get ready was the perfect size. They played darts, had a couple of pre-ceremony drinks and relaxed comfortably. There are so many ceremony sites and back-up options to cater to your wedding vision. We had our April/Spring ceremony outdoors under the trees and pergola, had cocktail hour outside on the patio and lower lodge and then the reception upstairs in the lodge. Each location had their own feel and vibe that flowed effortlessly. It also was so convenient to have all 3 events in the same location. Leah, Amanda and the whole Historic Ashland Staff really make you feel like family throughout the entire process and after. Following the day, I forgot my customized hanger that Leah so kindly found and mailed back along with a small gift that my husband and I both cherish and wear. You can not go wrong with Historic Ashland and if you choose them you will be forever grateful and happy that you did. Thank you!!

ional, and knowledgeable right from our first conversation. She really made us feel like she would make sure we had an incredible day. Throughout the wedding planning process, Leah and her team were always available to answer questions in a reasonable amount of time. The couples only Facebook group was really beneficial for connecting with other couples, asking questions, and getting ideas. Leah and Amanda were so helpful with checking in throughout the planning process and reminding us of important dates. They have an incredible list of vendor recommendations which is where we found most of our vendors who were all also amazing. We felt so at ease and ready to go by the time of our final walkthrough in October 2022. Our wedding day was truly flawless. Leah and Amanda made sure things were set up how we wanted and that everything was running smoothly and on time. They helped communicate with vendors throughout the day to ensure everyone knew where they needed to be. The venue itself is absolute perfection. We knew we wanted a location where there was a groom getting ready space, bride getting ready space, beautiful indoor ceremony option, and a reception area that was different from the ceremony area. Historic Ashland has all of that! We loved the two separate getting ready houses along with the separate lodge with spaces for the ceremony and reception. Our guests were so surprised when they walked up the stairs to the reception on the second level. While we chose to have our ceremony indoors in front of the downstairs fireplace, there are several outdoor options as well. We were so lucky that we had a 70 degree sunny November day and were able to utilize the outdoor patio space for our cocktail hour. The amount of locations around the property for taking photos is phenomenal as well. It was an incredible day that I would do it a thousand times over! If you are in search of a venue, contact Historic Ashland right now!

. You can tell Leah truly cares about the couples having the day they want. We got ready in the bridal suite in site. We had 7 people and 4 vendors at once in the suite. So it’s big! There was so much space! The groom’s suite was also nice for the guys to be tucked into. They were able to get ready and not run the risk of seeing us. One of our guests mentioned her son got married there in the summer 2021 and we got married in January 2023. She said that it looked like two completely different venues. The versatility of this venue is amazing. With the three spaces to choose from for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, you can really use this venue to build your wedding dream. Things ran so smoothly with the day of coordinator, Amanda, directing everyone and making sure that we were left to just enjoy the day. I seriously cannot appreciate the HA team enough for helping us have a perfect day! I couldn’t recommend a better venue!!

ate and talented and could not have been more helpful from the day we booked with Ashland until our wedding day. Amanda, our Day of Coordinator, took care of every last detail the day of. We did not have a single worry the entire day of and days leading up. That is invaluable and we are so appreciative. Whether you are looking for a Winter or Summer wedding, there are so many beautiful options at this venue. You will not be disappointed!

place for our wedding! The entire property, both inside and out, is gorgeous and spacious while still feeling intimate and comfortable. We also loved that everything from getting ready, to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception can be done in one place! Leah and Amanda are nothing short of amazing and they made the wedding planning process easy and stress free! Whenever we had questions or were looking for suggestions, they were always happy to help! Their organization, transparency, frequent communication with vendors, and overall calm demeanor gave us the reassurance we needed that our wedding day would be perfect and it allowed my husband and I to enjoy every moment of our special day!
