The Historic Bates Mansion exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding day. From the planning process to the final moments of our reception, their team handled everything flawlessly. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy our special day.
What stood out most was their incredible hospitality. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure both my husband and I were taken care of throughout the entire event. Whether it was checking in on us, helping coordinate details behind the scenes, or ensuring everything ran smoothly, they made us feel like their top priority.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but it’s the people behind it that make it truly exceptional. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for their couples made our wedding day stress-free and unforgettable.

Owners Vanessa and Jerry have been building a life together since 2007. What started as a shared dream and a passion for creating memorable events through Tucson Event Rentals has grown into something even more meaningful. Over the years, we discovered that our greatest joy wasn’t simply providing rentals—it was helping people bring their visions to life. That passion naturally evolved into creating seamless, stress-free celebrations at Historic Bates Mansion, where every detail is thoughtfully planned and every guest is welcomed like family.
Today, we’re proud to have an incredible team by our side. Along with Lynsey, Baili, and Tyler, we work together to bring every event to life with creativity, organization, and heart. From weddings and corporate gatherings to fundraisers, galas, holiday parties, birthdays, celebrations of life, quinceañeras, and everything in between, our team is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences while making the planning process enjoyable from beginning to end.

Owned and operated by husband-and-wife duo Jerry and Vanessa Holland, this enchanting property provides celebrations of all shapes and sizes with a rustic hacienda-inspired backdrop. They redesigned and reimaged the space and brought a rustic hacienda look with an old pueblo feel. The mansion was once occupied by businessman C.T.R Bates and was the meeting place for the prestigious local institution, the Mountain Oyster Club. It has been fully renovated for a feeling of both comfort and convenience and features inviting event spaces, invaluable amenities, an in-house caterer, and more. The Historic Bates is available for Weddings, Quinceañera’s, Bar & Bat Mitzvah, anniversaries, holiday & business parties, receptions & so much more. Yes, we feel its haunted. No you cannot stay overnight and “ghost hunt”. Yes you CAN schedule a tour and let us host your next event! Who knows, maybe if you’re lucky, Mrs. Bates might visit you and your guest at your event, or shut a couple lights off.
