This venue is a dream! I wanted a wild dance party, my fiancee wanted quiet nooks for conversation, and we got both at the BK House (plus a courtyard for our ceremony, a rose garden for the cocktail hour, a beautiful house for dining, and a lounge in the back building). It's such a flexible space, we were able to give our guests many different experiences in one venue.
Logistically, the BK House runs a tight ship and made everything easy for us. Courtney, our main point of contact, was communicative, reliable, and sweet. They had a convenient space for the caterers, hidden from the guests, as well as a private green room for the musicians. They even helped us book a tent. We didn't have to worry about a thing!
Seriously, I can't recommend this venue highly enough. It was absolute perfection.

AMAZING! Courtney and Leah were absolutely exceptional and navigated tricky situations with ease. We used Courtney as our coordinator and we could not be more happy with that decision. Courtney ensured that all the details fit our vision and made everything come together perfectly. Not only that, the staff took great lengths to make sure that me and my husband were comfortable and happy.
Not to mention- the house is GORGEOUS! It speaks for itself. We had many NOLA natives thank us for showing them a part of the city and its history that they had never seen before. The space is well laid out and makes everything feel much more intimate while not being cramped at all. It’s astounding that a gorgeous house with so many unique spaces, a courtyard, and a garden was so reasonably priced.
My husband and I can’t stop talking about how perfect our wedding was, and it’s pretty much entirely thanks to the BK House. We highly recommend!!!

My partner and I first found the BK house by attending a talk that John Hankins gave there about the New Orleans Master Craft Guild. We were looking for a wedding/reception venue that was not only beautiful & affordable (and could fit 140 ppl), but shared New Orleans history without glorifying the Antebellum South. The BK house was all this and more!
Annie & Courtney were easy to coordinate with both before & after we hired a wedding planner. When rain was forecast a couple of days out, Courtney immediately connected us with multiple vetted tent vendors to cover the courtyard. We had our ceremony in the garden and flowers were blooming everywhere (this was early April). The photos were incredible, and our family LOVED the space. We had a band pick us up right outside for an easy second line to Frenchman Street for the after party. It was truly a New Orleans experience for our out of town guests!
Two days after our wedding, Courtney called to let us know we still had 1/2 a cake left over from the reception that she had kept for us in the fridge. We met to pick it up and enjoyed our wedding cake a second time!
We highly recommend the BK house as a wedding venue (or for any big event) and at minimum, you should go visit for one of their daily tours to see it for yourself.

My husband and I had our wedding at the BK House in April and it was a dream! Annie and Courtney were invaluable during the whole process and were very professional and easy to communicate with. It was a destination wedding for us as well so that being said we couldn't have asked for better support. Courtney was extremely patient and kind with my hundred questions and had great suggestions for how the night and the different vendors we hired. The venue was beautiful and we can't wait to come back to visit the house. Our guests had an amazing time dancing in the courtyard. Would highly recommend!

The Beauregard Keyes House was the absolute perfect wedding venue! Annie and Courtney were very helpful in answering any questions during the planning process, took me on a virtual tour and eventually an in person tour when we came into town for a visit. The venue itself is gorgeous with lovely grounds and garden. The location is just a couple of blocks from Jackson square making it an ideal location. 10/10 would recommend the BK House as your wedding venue- I wish I could do relive it all over again!

We could not envision our big day happening anywhere else but at BK House! The courtyard, gardens, and house are STUNNING, and our wedding night was truly magical because of this gorgeous venue. Courtney, Annie, and the rest of the BK House team were super helpful and easy to work with--the blank space that BK house provides really allowed us to design the wedding of our dreams. We cannot recommend this venue enough--BOOK IT ASAP!!

Photos cannot possibly capture how absolutely spectacular this space is. Both the gardens and the inside rooms are truly stunning. The BK House crew was lovely and a breeze to work with and everything happened exactly as planned. We went with one of their approved wedding planners, The Smaller Orchid, and all went off without a hitch, exceeding our expectations at every turn. If you're looking for a beautiful place to celebrate a magical event, look no further!

The Beauregard-Keyes House was the perfect location for our wedding ceremony. We got married in the garden, and it was more beautiful than we could’ve ever imagined. We were married in mid-May and everything was in bloom. It was so naturally beautiful, we didn’t even need any decorations. Annie and Courtney were wonderful to work with as well. They were very responsive to emails, and were so helpful and flexible. They let us do a rehearsal the day before, and even let us use their chairs for the ceremony. If you’re worried about rain, they’re very amenable and will let you use the porches or inside of the house (which are still gorgeous locations)! The price is also very reasonable and budget friendly. The BK House garden is definitely a hidden gem of the French Quarter, and made our wedding day absolutely beautiful and romantic.

We got married at BK house in April of 2022. It was a picture perfect wedding and we could not have had a better experience with Annie and the BK House. The venue was beautiful and held our guest count of approximately 80 guests for a ceremony in the garden and a reception in the courtyard with room to spare! The garden was lush with greenery and flowers and the courtyard/inside were perfect for eating and dancing in a elegant/historical setting. We went with the venue's recommended wedding planner/coordinator and a lot of their suggested vendors and would not change any of our decisions. If you are thinking about having your event at BK House, DO IT! You will not regret it!!

We got married at BK House in April of 2021, and it was a complete dream. Not only were all of the staff super sweet and accommodating, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had our fairytale wedding despite the current events going on. The gardens were magical and you are so close to the french quarter for any other photography shots! We had a more intimate wedding, with around 40 guests (that includes our wedding party). It rained for the entire week leading up to it (and on the day of). Luckily, Annie gave us special accommodations to make sure our big day was perfect. Our entire family traveled all the way from St. Louis, MO because NOLA holds a special place in our heart and we knew we wanted to get married there. Despite COVID, we made it happen- but it's all thanks to the staff at BK House for keeping in touch despite the distance and keeping us safe despite the pandemic. We wouldn't have had our dream wedding without them. I can't thank them all enough!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Beauregard-Keyes House for our wedding reception. They were easy to work with from the start, and I became even more appreciative of how kind they are as we worked through postponing our wedding in 2020 and then ultimately downsizing in 2021. Annie was so caring and kept in frequent contact with us as New Orleans went through the different phases of reopening, talking us through how the different restrictions would impact our plans. The house itself is beautiful and the courtyard and garden are both super dreamy. We ended up having a small reception primarily in the courtyard to keep everyone outside as much as possible, and I was initially worried that it would be awkward with so few guests and some covid restrictions still in place, but the setting was perfect, and our wedding was everything I could have ever dreamed of. The Beauregard-Keyes House and staff truly delivered for our wedding, and I am so so grateful! Honestly cannot recommend them or this beautiful venue enough!

The BK House Garden is where we had our intimate 9 person "little wedding" as we're calling it (due to COVID) and boy was it a dream. Working with Annie and her team from the BK House was super easy from the very start. They were so accommodating, even with a very long email chain of questions back and forth. After seeing the garden, we didn't look any further and immediately booked it for our ceremony. It's absolutely stunning and the perfect place to get married. We felt like we were somewhere completely different than the French Quarter - it's like a dream land secret garden that feels so private and intimate, and then you leave and you're smack dab in the middle of everything! It's absolutely perfect. With every question and wondering I threw at Annie, she was so responsive, helpful, and figured out a plan for each of my wonderings. The week of the wedding it looked like a possibility of rain and Annie came up with a plan immediately. She totally didn't have to (it was the week of and I hadn't asked about it before!) but she eased my mind immediately. The day of the event was beautiful but said it was going to rain exactly during our event time - Annie had me so calm and had everything figured out for me. It ended up not raining, and thank goodness because the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and so dreamy. Highly recommend the Beauregard-Keyes House for your wedding!

Annie was incredible to work with. She answered all of my many, many questions and was patient throughout out the 1.5 year-long process. Unfortunately, our wedding had to be postponed due to reasons out of our control, but Annie made the refund process easy and painless. Thank you Annie!

We hosted my daughter's wedding at the Beauregard-Keyes House in October. I can honestly say I don't know how it could have gone any better. The experienced staff was dedicated to making the evening perfect and took care of all of the operational details of the event so that we could all enjoy ourselves and not stress over the details. They recommended a great caterer (Palate) and because they had worked together before, there were no hitches in the set up, serving and removal of the food.
The facility lends itself to an intimate wedding (100 guests) but there was plenty of room for the ceremony, eating. dancing and even a lovely room for my daughter and the bridesmaids to get dressed. The grand architecture of the house adds just the right feel for a New Orleans wedding. Annie, Becca and the staff deserve 5+ stars for their great attitude and hard work.

Beautiful venue in the best part of the French Quarter! Annie and her team are great to work with and the house itself will provide intrigue and talking points for all of your guests. We got married in the Rose Garden, ate dinner in the house and then danced the night away in the courtyard. All of our guests were blown away by this New Orleans gem and it's one of the happiest memories of my life. My only advice is to get a month-of planner to help everything come together, it is BYO everything so that can be stressful if you don't have help.

This venue is AMAZING. We had our wedding in the beautiful outdoor garden, and then moved into the courtyard and the house for the reception. It's such a lovely place that you barely need any additional decor. There was plenty of room for food, dancing, two bars, and a photo booth. We comfortably had about 125 people there. Annie was also really great to work with. She was super available whenever I needed anything and helped everything run smoothly. It truly was the fairy tale wedding I always wanted. Strongly recommend!

I cannot even begin to say enough about this place and the staff. This is not a traditional venue, but it is absolutely the most beautiful place we could have imagined having our wedding day. It is a stand-alone venue in the heart of the French Quarter in the quiet little corner of Chartres and Ursulines behind the convent. Not many people even know it’s there. But the house, the courtyard, and the attached rose garden are like a fairytale. The director Annie was so incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and especially on the days leading up to the wedding. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place for our big day! And I’d do it again a million times if I could!

We had our wedding here on May 5, 2018, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Obviously, everyone knows the venue is gorgeous. What most people don't know is that it is affordable, and that the staff who manage the property are a delight to work with. Every reasonable request of ours was granted, the property manager is capable and responsive, and everything about the venue worked beautifully on the day of the wedding. Our guests utilized every bit of the space from the gardens, to the interior rooms, to the courtyard. We had approximately 165 guests and a reception-style dinner, and there was ample room for more people. For anyone looking for a classic, gorgeous, affordable venue in the French Quarter, this venue is perfect.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous, but Annie is a nightmare. We booked he venue almost an entire year in advance and when we met with her the first time she was so pleasant. Throughout the planning process it took her long periods of time to answer any questions, but I thought everything would still be ok, she also asked for the signed contract multiple times due to loss. We paid off our venue fees in December 2017. Our wedding was scheduled for April 2018. I tried contacting her on several occasions to iron out details. Three days before our wedding she emailed me to tell me we only paid for two hours of our venue and she needed the contract AGAIN. My fiancé and I spent 2 hours in our hotel going through bank statements to send her records of each payment. Then all of a sudden she had the records. Every single payment was from the same account under the same name, but she blamed it on it being under a different name for some payments. She also gave us 430 for the rehearsal time and changed it at noon the day of to 4. We went to hang the cafe lights she recommended we purchase and there are boxes and boxes of cafe lights at the venue that people leave after events. She then told us we were a “huge inconvenience” by bringing he flowers at 2pm on the day of the wedding because the vendor load in was 330. The flowers took up ONE medium cardboard box and we’re out of the way of everything. All of my other vendors were absolute dreams. Bk house is an absolute dream. Annie sucks.

Hi! Annie here. I really am so sorry for the terrible experience. It was a simple billing ...
error and I blame myself and my pregnancy brain for not catching it before I reached out. I truly regret adding any extra stress to your planning. Extra lights you may have seen were left over from a wedding the week before and we certainly would have reused them if we'd anticipated them still being on hand. We have since changed our policy and leave lights up throughout the wedding season. Each event we host is a new and different experience and while I really do regret that I, personally, didn't meet your expectations, I am pleased that the wedding was a success and wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

My dream wedding would not have been possible without the Beauregard-Keyes House.
My advise to all brides in the beginning phase of planning your wedding is to hammer out your must have list. Know where you are willing to sacrifice and where you are completely unwilling to budge on things you want, need, or don't care about. If you can do that early on, your budget and your life will be much easier! *side note also make sure your non-negotiable list matches with your future hubby*
My criteria for my wedding venue were that it had to have outdoor space, had to be in the French Quarter (with a sense of place so that in pictures you can tell the wedding was in Nola not some nondescript ballroom), and within my budget...
Being that New Orleans is a very expensive city to get married in it was very hard to find a venue that checked all three boxes. The garden and courtyards are to die for, Located in the heart of the French Quarter with gorgeous buildings all around, and many reasonable package options.
Let me just say how happy I am with my choice of the Beauregard-Keyes House. The venue is incredible, the staff is willing to help with the smallest of requests and accommodating beyond what any bride could hope for. Annie, the venue's coordinator, is professional, kind, and helpful at every turn. She helped make suggestions, give us ideas of how other weddings were set, and vendor recommendations. You can't ask for more!
Our wedding was in November, the weather was beautiful but more than that... the flowers in the garden were all in bloom! I did not expect that. The garden itself is stunning and can go without any decorations to be honest but when all the rose bushes are bloomed with white roses its so beautiful it makes you want to cry! There is not a bad thing I could say about the BK House and our experience.

There is not enough space to write about how much we LOVED this venue! Annie and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and pleasant to work with! I really enjoyed the fact we had the choice the bring our own vendors in and was not stuck with a preferred vendor list. This is a beautiful hidden gem in the French Quarter with a lot of history. The house and side garden are so beautiful and make for a great space to host an event. I hope to attend many more events here in the future!

We used this venue for our ceremony and reception. I exchanged a few unpleasant emails with the former director over organizing a scheduled visit after we had already put down a deposit to secure the venue but, once Annie (the current director) took her place, everything went smoothly. This venue is quaint and good for a small wedding but, please note 2 important details: the only way to enter the house is by stair so, it is not good for anyone elderly or disabled. I knew this booking it and my elderly grandmother was able to make it up the stairs but, I did have 1 disabled guest opt out because they weren't sure they could make it into the main house. Secondly, as another reviewer mentioned above, you need to book this venue knowing it is a space only, they do not provide any services. I would recommend using a caterer that has experience with the venue because they do not have a functional kitchen, everything needs to be done outside. Oh, parking is also very difficult in this area. Other than that, it has an interesting history and is right in the middle of the french quarter on a relatively quiet street.

This venue allowed me to personalize my entire wedding. It was nice to have so much space to do it! We had a cocktail hour in the garden, dinner inside the house, and bar and dancing outside in the courtyard. It was beautiful and unique. Much better than a standard hotel ballroom.
The venue has a few downsides as well. This is a venue ONLY, so we had to bring in all of the rentals and catering, alcohol. On one hand, we were glad to be able to do this, but on the other hand we had to rent EVERYTHING- tables, chairs, plates, glasses. This tacked on a few thousand dollars to our cost. Courtyard string lights will also need to be rented or brought in and set up by a friend/family member. No amplified music or red wine is allowed inside the house.
We were lucky to have perfect weather on our wedding day so that was not an issue.
Annie at the Beauregard-Keyes House was great and very flexible for us. She was quick to respond to emails and answer any questions. We stopped by the House a few times to look around and figure out where we would set up wedding things and she was quite accomodating.
If I had the choice, I would definitely have my wedding reception here again.

Our wedding planner had lined up several venues for us to visit, but we called off all of our appointments as soon as we saw the BK House. It was perfect. We had our ceremony in the gardens, and our reception in the house and courtyard. The venue was very accommodating and, other than not being able to have red wine, we were able to do everything we wanted with catering and decorations. Ella, the events manager, was super helpful and responsive. This home is exactly why we decided to get married in New Orleans: the beauty, the courtyard, the history, the grandeur. What an absolutely stunning wedding venue!

The Beauregard-Keyes House was a wonderful place to get married. We had a small wedding with 14 guests. We live in Virginia, so coming in from out of town, I was a little worried about getting things set-up. However, the director, Ella, was very nice and incredibly accommodating. She made it so easy to pick this venue! And yes, I talked with a LOT of venues. We were married in the courtyard on Chartres St. I was a little worried that it would rain, but Ella assured me that if it did, we would move the ceremony into the ballroom. The courtyard was an easy space to decorate. There are hedges and a pretty fountain in the middle and an archway that we had the ceremony under. The on-site property manager, Ott, was great about showing us where the outside outlets were, lending us extension cords, etc. The location was perfect. It is centrally located and close to everything. We had a second line band and because of the great location, were able to leave the Beauregard-Keyes House and dance right up to Bourbon Street. The inside is beautiful, too, and would also be an ideal space for a wedding. I just always wanted an outdoor wedding in a courtyard with some history and character, and the Beauregard-Keyes house certainly fit the bill. And it was kinda fun having tourists take pictures of the decorations and ceremony through the gate. There was even a tour group waiting to see what was happening when we left the venue for our second line. I'm very happy that this was the venue for our wedding.

I highly recomend utilzing this venue. The setting was wonderful. I kept looking up at the lights overhead in the courtyard onto the balcony of the house thinking how beauitful the setting for my wedding was. Ella, Ott and their team were professional and patient with my family and friends. I loved the historical home setting. Plus, your money is going to support a wonderful space that makes New Orleans unique. This location made my wedding perfect!
